2005年津、鲁、浙、苏声学学术会议暨全国物理声学学术会议在南京召开

2005年津、鲁、浙、苏三省一市声学学术会议暨全国物理声学学术会议于2005年10月22日至24日在南京市南京大学召开，由江苏省声学学会和南京大学声学研究所承办。应邀参加会议的有南京大学党委副书记、校长助理张荣教授、中国声学学会秘书长宗健教授、中国科学院院士张淑仪教授、会议承办单位的有关领导以及与会代表等共70余人。会议得到三省一市及全国各地声学工作者的热烈响应，积极投稿，共收到论文摘要90余篇，接受论文70篇，其中有57篇论文在会议上进行了宣读。     

地区中长期发展规划模型研究

针对一个地区研究制定中长期发展规划的需要，建立了一模型系列，利用它们可对该地区未来１５年国民经济和社会发展进行动态的系统分析。     

受控热核聚变研究及其在我国HT-7超导托卡马克上的最新进展

受控热核聚变研究在发展了50年后，在2003年进入了一个新的阶段，国际热核聚变实验堆项目将最后选址开工。科学工作者们希望这个在新世纪初开始的项目能成为彻底解决能源问题的发端，中国科学院等离子体物理研究所最近在受控热核聚变科研上取得了长足进展，朝着稳态高温等离子体的方向又跨出了坚实的一步．其HT-7超导托卡马克高温等离子体的持续时间达到63．95s，成为目前世界上能开展分钟级高温等离子体放电的仅有的两个超导托卡马克装置之一。文章主要介绍了中国科学院等离子体物理研究所最新的聚变实验研究进展。     

Large Oil Reserves Found in Bohai Bay

Exploration teams have found the Bohai Bay Basin of North China may contain 20.5 billion tons of offshore oil reserves, with 9 billion tons already proven, experts said.
