The production of fermentable sugars from rice hull was studied by dilute acid pretreatment and enzymatic saccharification.
Rice hull (15%, w/v) was pretreated by 1% (v/v) sulfuric acid at high temperature (120∼160 °C) for 15, 30, 45, and 60 min, respectively. The maximum sugar concentration
from rice hull in the prehydrolysate was obtained at 140 °C for 30 min, but the enzymatic saccharification yield from the
corresponding pretreated rice hull is not high. To another aspect, the maximum enzymatic saccharification yield was achieved
at 160 °C for 60 min, while the recovery of fermentable sugars was the poorest. To take account of fermentable sugars from
pretreatment and enzymatic saccharification, the maximum yield of sugars was obtained only when rice hull was treated at 140 °C
for 30 min. Under this condition, 72.5% (w/w) of all sugars generated from the raw material can be recovered. The kinetic study on the enzymatic saccharification of dilute
acid pretreated rice hull was also performed in this work by a modified Michaelis–Menten model and a diffusion-limited model.
After calculation by a linear and a non-linear regression analysis, both models showed good relation with the experimental

Among the traded credit derivatives, the market interest in credit default swap options (CDSwaptions) is enormous. We propose
a multinomial tree model to price Bermudan CDSwaptions. Our basic rationale is that we distribute the occurring probability
for each node in a branch proportional to the probability density function of the assumed (normal) distribution. Through this
approach, without the need of solving a large number of equations simultaneously, only the first four moments are required
to build an arbitrarily large N-branches tree. We also demonstrate the detailed model implementation procedure including the valuation and the estimation
of critical prices through an empirical example in Tucker and Wei (J Fixed Income 15(1):88–95, 2005). Numerical results show
that, in the valuation, the proposed multinomial tree model is accurate and can significantly save pricing time under the
same degree of accuracy as the binomial tree model. In the estimation of critical prices, the results are less accurate than

Internal contamination of actinides has led to significant health hazards to the public and workers in the context of nuclear power plant accidents, uranium ore mining, and reprocessing of the used fuel. An effective sequestering agent that is able to remove accidentally incorporated actinides in vivo with low toxicity is always in urgent need. The molecular decorporation ligands have been the most widely researched agents for the past few decades, while preliminary studies of functionalized nanoparticles have shown their clear advantages in metal binding selectivity, toxicity, and oxidative stress alleviation. Herein, the state-of-the-art of those two types of decorporation agents is presented with special attention being paid on the correlation between the solution and solid-state chemistry of those agents with actinides and the corresponding decorporation efficacies. 相似文献

Structure Characterization of HSQ Films for Low Dielectrics Using D5 as Sacrificial Porous Materials 下载免费PDF全文
Low-density materials, commercially available hydrogensilsesquioxane (HSQ) offer a low dielectric constant. HSQ films can be obtained by spin on deposition (SOD). In this work, low-dielectric-constant HSQ films are prepared by using D5 (decamethylcyclopentasiloxane) as sacrificiaJ porous materials. The dielectric constant of silica films significantly changes from 3.0 to 2.4. We report the structural aspects of the films in relation to their composition after annealed at 300℃, 400℃, and 500℃ for 1.5h in nitrogen ambient and annealed at 400℃ for 1.5h in vacuum. Si-OH appears after annealed at 400℃ for 1.5h in vacuum. The results indicate that the proper condition is in nitrogen ambient. Intensity of the Sill peak increases with the increasing temperature. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy is used to identify the network structure and cage structure of Si-O-Si bonds and other possible bonds. Dielectric constant k is significantly lowered by annealing at 350℃ for 1.5h in nitrogen ambient. The I-V and C-V measurements are used to determine the dielectric constant, the electric resistivity and the breakdown electric field. 相似文献

In this paper we study quantum-phase transition in the one-dimensional XY model with an XY easy-plane single ion anisotropy. We use the path-integral formalism, but consider the effect of quantum fluctuations, which renormalize the parameters of the system, using the self-consistent harmonic approximation. Phosphoric acid‐doped crosslinked proton‐conducting membranes with high anhydrous proton conductivity, and good chemical stability in phosphoric acid were synthesized and characterized. The synthetic procedure of the acid‐doped composite membranes mainly involves the in situ crosslinking of polymerizable monomer oils (styrene and acrylonitrile) and vinylimidazole, and followed by the sulfonation of pendant imidazole groups with butanesultone, and further doped with phosphoric acid. The resultant phosphoric acid‐doped composite electrolyte membranes are flexible and show high thermal stability and high‐proton conductivity up to the order of 10?2 S cm?1 at 160 °C under anhydrous conditions. The phosphoric acid uptake, swelling degree, and proton conductivity of the composite membranes increase with the vinylimidazole content. The resultant composite membranes also show good oxidative stability in Fenton's reagent (at 70 °C), and quite good chemical stability in phosphoric acid (at 160 °C). The properties of the prepared electrolyte membranes indicate their promising prospects in anhydrous proton‐exchange membrane applications. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The copper(0)‐catalyzed living radical polymerization of acrylonitrile (AN) was investigated using ethyl 2‐bromoisobutyrate as an initiator and 2,2′‐bipyridine as a ligand. The polymerization proceeded smoothly in dimethyl sulphoxide with higher than 90% conversion in 13 h at 25 °C. The polymerization kept the features of controlled radical polymerization. 1H NMR spectra proved that the resultant polymer was end‐capped by ethyl 2‐bromoisobutyrate species. Such polymerization technique was also successfully introduced to conduct the copolymerization of styrene (St) and AN to obtain well‐controlled copolymers of St and AN at 25 °C, in which the monomer conversion of St could reach to higher than 90%. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
