Negotiations to reduce greenhouse gas accumulation in the atmosphere are modeled as extensive games of perfect information. Various solution concepts, such as Nash equilibrium, reaction function equilibrium, correlated equilibrium and bargaining solutions are applied, analyzed and computed. Special reduction techniques are used when the size of the game tree becomes excessive. A new solution concept, the tree-correlated equilibrium is also introduced. ObjectiveThis paper aimed to investigate ego modules for TGFβ3-induced chondrogenesis in mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) using ego network algorithm.MethodsThe ego network algorithm comprised three parts, extracting differential expression network (DEN) based on gene expression data and protein-protein interaction (PPI) data; exploring ego genes by reweighting DEN; and searching ego modules by ego gene expansions. Subsequently, permutation test was carried out to evaluate the statistical significance of the ego modules. Finally, pathway enrichment analysis was conducted to investigate ego pathways enriched by the ego modules.ResultsA total of 15 ego genes were obtained from the DEN, such as PSMA4, HNRNPM and WDR77. Starting with each ego genes, 15 candidate modules were gained. When setting the thresholds of the area under the receiver operating characteristics curve (AUC) ≥0.9 and gene size ≥4, three ego modules (Module 3, Module 8 and Module 14) were identified, and all of them had statistical significances between normal and TGFβ3-induced chondrogenesis in MSCs. By mapping module genes to confirmed pathway database, their ego pathways were detected, Cdc20:Phospho-APC/C mediated degradation of Cyclin A for Module 3, Mitotic G1-G1/S phases for Module 8, and mRNA Splicing for Module 14.ConclusionsWe have successfully identified three ego modules, evaluated their statistical significances and investigated their functional enriched ego pathways. The findings might provide potential biomarkers and give great insights to reveal molecular mechanism underlying this process. 相似文献

This paper examines psycho-induced overconsumption in a dynamic stochastic context. As emphasized by well-established psychological results, these psycho-distortions derive from a decision making based on simple rules-of-thumb, not on analytically sounded optimizations. To our end, we therefore compare two New Keynesian models. The first is populated by optimizing Muth-rational agents and acts as the normative benchmark. The other is a “psycho-perturbed” version of the benchmark that allows for the potential presence of overoptimism and, hence, of overconsumption. The parameters of these models are estimated through a Bayesian-type procedure, and performances are evaluated by employing an entropy measure. Such methodologies are particularly appropriate here since they take in full consideration the complexity generated by the randomness of the considered systems. In particular, they let to derive a not negligible information on the size and on the cyclical properties of the biases. In line with cognitive psychology suggestions our evidence shows that the overoptimism/overconsumption is: widespread—it is detected in nation-wide data; persistent—it emerges in full-sample estimations; it moves according to the expected cyclical behavior—larger in booms, and it disappears in crises. Moreover, by taking into account the effect of these psycho-biases, the model fits actual data better than the benchmark. All considered, then, enhancing the existing literature our findings: i) sustain the importance of inserting psychological distortions in macroeconomic models and ii) underline that system dynamics and psycho biases have statistically significant and economically important connections. 相似文献

IntroductionIt is reported that LTF had a radiation resistance effect, and its expression in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) was significantly down-regulated. However, the mechanism of down-regulated LTF affecting the sensitivity of radiotherapy has remained elusive.MethodsWe re-analyzed the microarray data GSE36972 and GSE48503 to find differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in NPC cell line 5−8 F transfected with LTF or vector control, and the DEGs between radio-resistant and radio-sensitive NPC cell lines. Gene Ontology (GO), Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) enrichment and protein-protein interaction network (PPI) analysis of DEGs were performed to obtain the node genes. The target genes of miR-214 were also predicted to complement the mechanism associated with radiotherapy resistance because it could directly target LTF.ResultsThis study identified 1190 and 1279 DEGs, respectively. GO and KEGG analysis showed that apoptotic process and proliferation, PI3K-Akt signaling pathway were significantly enriched pathways. Four nodes (DUSP1, PPARGC1A, FOS and SMARCA1) associated with LTF were screened. And 42 target genes of miR-214 were cross-linked to radiotherapy sensitivity.ConclusionsThe present study demonstrates the possible molecular mechanism that the down-regulated LTF enhances the radiosensitivity of NPC cells through interaction with DUSP1, PPARGC1A, FOS and SMARCA1, and miR-214 as its superior negative regulator may play a role in regulating the radiotherapy effect. 相似文献

This paper studies the consensus problem of multi-agent systems with both fixed and switching topologies. A hybrid consensus protocol is proposed to take into consideration of continuous-time communications among agents and delayed instant information exchanges on a sequence of discrete times. Based on the proposed algorithms, the multi-agent systems with the hybrid consensus protocols are described in the form of impulsive systems or impulsive switching systems. By employing results from matrix theory and algebraic graph theory, some sufficient conditions for the consensus of multi-agent systems with fixed and switching topologies are established, respectively. Our results show that, for small impulse delays, the hybrid consensus protocols can solve the consensus problem if the union of continuous-time and impulsive-time interaction digraphs contains a spanning tree frequently enough. The mechanisms behind the nonlinear optical (NLO) properties of Li2B4O7 are characterized by 7Li static nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and magic-angle spinning (MAS) NMR. Furthermore, the structural nature of 3-coordinate BO3 and 4-coordinate BO4 groups is also characterized by the same method. For 7Li and 11B, the spin-lattice relaxation time T1 in laboratory frame gradually decreases with increasing temperature, whereas the spin-lattice relaxation time T1ρ in rotating frame, which differs from T1, is nearly constant. This paper reviews the theoretical basis and its application for a multiple type of Duffing oscillation. This paper uses a suitable theoretical model to examine the structural instability of a folding truss which is limited so that only vertical displacements are possible for each nodal point supported by both sides. The equilibrium path in this ideal model has been found to have a type of “hill-top bifurcation” from the theoretical work of bifurcation analysis. Dynamic analysis allows for geometrical non-linearity based upon static bifurcation theory. We have found that a simple folding structure based on Multi-Folding-Microstructures theory is more interesting when there is a strange trajectory in multiple homo/hetero-clinic orbits than a well-known ordinary homoclinic orbit, as a model of an extended multiple degrees-of-freedom Duffing oscillation. We found that there are both globally and locally dynamic behaviours for a folding multi-layered truss which corresponds to the structure of the multiple homo/hetero-clinic orbits. This means the numerical solution depends on the dynamic behaviour of the system subjected to the forced cyclic loading such as folding or expanding action. The author suggests simplified theoretical models for hill-top bifurcation that help us to understand globally and locally dynamic behaviours, which depends on the static bifurcation problem. Such models are very useful for forecasting simulations of the extended Duffing oscillation model as essential and invariant nonlinear phenomena. 相似文献
