A mechanism is considered for generating doorway states and intermediate structure in low-energy nuclear reactions as a result of collectivization of widths of unstable intrinsic states coupled to common decay channels. At the limit of strong continuum coupling, the segregation of broad (“super-radiating”) and narrow (“trapped”) states occurs revealing the separation of direct and compound processes. We discuss the conditions for the appearance of intermediate structure in this process and doorways related to certain decay channels.  相似文献

This paper addresses non-linear global gyrokinetic simulations of ion temperature gradient (ITG) driven turbulence with the Gysela code. The particularity of Gysela code is to use a semi-Lagrangian (SL) scheme for the full distribution function. The 4D non-linear drift-kinetic version of the code already shows the interest in such a SL method which exhibits good properties of energy conservation. The code has been upgrated to run 5D toroidal simulations. Linear benchmarks and non-linear results are presented.  相似文献

We present a branch-and-bound algorithm to minimize the weighted number of tardy jobs on either identical or non-identical processors. Bounds come from a surrogate relaxation resulting in a multiple-choice knapsack. Extensive computational experiments indicate problems with 400 jobs and several machines can be solved quickly. The results also indicate what parameters affect solution difficulty for this algorithmic approach.  相似文献

A V-cycle multigrid method is developed for a time-dependent viscoelastic fluid flow satisfying an Oldroyd-B-type constitutive equation in two-dimensional domains. Also existence, uniqueness, and error estimates of an approximate solution are discussed. A physical scheme for the implementation of quantum superdense coding has been proposed in Cavity QED. The detuned interaction between Λ-type three-level atoms and coherent fields constitute the main superdense coding process. The quantum superdense coding can be realized in an easier way, and the atoms are not excited during the whole process, so the effect of atomic decay is eliminated naturally.  相似文献

A new procedure called ‘source generation’ is applied to the pfaffianized KP equation. As a result, the pfaffianized-KP equation with self-consistent sources (ESCS) is obtained. This coupled system cannot only be reduced to the pfaffianized KP equation, but also reduced to the KP equation with self-consistent sources (KPESCS). So the pfaffianized-KP ESCS can be viewed as a pfaffian version of the KPESCS, which indicates the commutativity of the ‘source generation’ procedure and pfaffianization.  相似文献

In this paper a class of weakly singular Volterra integral equations with an infinite set of solutions is investigated. Among the set of solutions only one particular solution is smooth and all others are singular at the origin. The numerical solution of this class of equations has been a difficult topic to analyze and has received much previous investigation. The aim of this paper is to improve the convergence rates by a graded mesh method. The convergence rates are proved and a variety of numerical examples are provided to support the theoretical findings.  相似文献
