To improve contrast between dim target region and background in infrared (IR) long-range surveillance, this paper proposes a fast image enhancement approach using saliency feature extraction based on multi-scale decomposition. Firstly, a smooth based multi-scale decomposition is designed and applied to original infrared image, generating sub-images with various frequency components at different decomposition levels. The dim target regions of sub-images are extracted by a local frequency-tuned based saliency feature detection method, secondly. With saliency maps created by saliency extraction using multi-scale local windows with different sizes, the sub-images are enhanced at different decomposition scales. Finally, the enhanced result is reconstructed by synthesizing the all sub-images with adjustable synthetic weights. Since salient areas are analyzed based on fast multi-scale image decomposition, IR image can be s enhanced with good contrast successfully and rapidly. Compared with other algorithms, the experimental results prove that the proposed method is robust and efficient for IR image enhancement. 相似文献

A high‐order convection‐bounded scheme is constructed by combining the total variational diminishing constraint and convection boundedness criterion condition in the normalized variable formulation. It employs the Hermite polynomial interpolation to design its characteristic line in the normalized variable diagram. Numerical results of the convection‐dominated problems with smooth or discontinuous initial distributions demonstrate the present scheme possesses high resolution and good robustness. Based on the density functional theory (DFT), using first-principles plane-wave ultrasoft pseudopotential method, the models of the unit cell of pure ZnO and two highly Li-2N co-doped supercells of Zn0.9375Li0.0625O0.875N0.125 and Zn0.9167Li0.0833O0.8333N0.1667 were constructed, and the geometry optimization for the three models was carried out. The total density of states (TDOS) and the band structures (BS) were also calculated. The calculation results showed that in the range of high doping concentration, when the co-doping concentration is more than a certain value, the conductivity decreased with the increase of co-doping concentration of Li-2N in ZnO, which agrees with the change trend of the experimental results. 相似文献

Single phase non-Newtonian microporous flow combined with the electroviscous effect is investigated in the pore-scale under conditions of various rheological properties and electrokinetic parameters. The lattice Boltzmann method is employed to solve both the electric potential field and flow velocity field. The simulation of commonly used power-law non-Newtonian flow shows that the electroviscous effect on the flow depends on both the fluid rheological behavior and pore surface area ratio significantly. For the shear thinning fluid with power-law exponent n < 1, the fluid viscosity near the wall is smaller and the electrovicous effect plays a more important role compared to the Newtonian fluid and shear thickening fluid. The high pore surface area ratio in the porous structure increases the electroviscous force and the induced flow resistance becomes important even to the flow of Newtonian and shear thickening fluids. 相似文献

In order to investigate the calculation methods on crack resistance capacity of connection composed of cross shaped steel encased ultra high strength concrete (CSSEUHSC) columns and steel encased concrete (SEC) beams under cycle loads, six interior connection specimens were tested in the laboratory. A discussion on the crack resistance capacity was presented. Calculation methods of crack resistance capacity were deduced based on the experimental case and calculation results were in good agreement with the experimental results. This paper reports that the pattern formation in homogeneous solutions of polyisoprene in toluene saturated with C60 induced by a continuous-wave visible laser is observed experimentally. The transmitted beam patterns change with the increase of the laser irradiation time. In the initial phase, the patterns with concentric ring-shaped structure are formed. In the end, the patterns become speckle-shaped. The incubation time of the transmitted beam widening is inversely proportional to the laser power density and solution concentration. The pattern formation results from the optical-field-induced refractive index changes in the solutions, but the mechanism of optical-field-induced refractive index changes in the polymer solutions needs to be further studied. 相似文献
