In this work, aligned and molecularly oriented bone‐like PLLA semihollow fiber yarns were manufactured continuously from an optimized homogeneous polymer‐solvent‐nonsolvent system [PLLA, CH2Cl2, and dimethyl formamide (DMF)] by a single capillary electrospinning via self‐bundling technique. Here, it should be emphasized that the self‐bundling electrospinning technique, a very facile electrospinning technique with a grounded needle (which is to induce the self‐bundling of polymer nanofibers at the beginning of electrospinning process), is used for the alignment and molecular orientation of the polymer fiber, and the take‐up speed of the rotating drum for the electrospun fiber yarn collection is very low (0.5 m/s). PLLA can be dissolved in DMF and CH2Cl2 mixed solvent with different ratios. By varying the ratios of mixed solvent system, PLLA electrospun semihollow fiber with the porous inner structure and compact shell wall could be formed, the thickness of the shell and the size of inner pores could be adjusted. The results of polarized FTIR and wide angle X‐ray diffraction investigations verified that as‐prepared PLLA semihollow fiber yarns were well‐aligned and molecularly oriented. Both the formation mechanism of semihollow fibers with core‐shell structure and the orientation mechanism of polymer chains within the polymer fibers were all discussed. The as‐prepared self‐bundling electrospun PLLA fiber yarns possessed enhanced mechanical performance compared with the corresponding conventional electrospun PLLA fibrous nonwoven membranes. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this Letter, the exp-function method is used to obtain generalized solitary solutions and periodic solutions of the general types of combined KdV-Burgers equation with variable coefficients. It is shown that the exp-function method via symbolic computation provides a straightforward and powerful mathematical tool for solving nonlinear evolution equations with variable coefficients in mathematical physics.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is the preparation and characterization of cellulose/chitin blend filaments over the experimental blend ratio scope i.e., 2.89 and 6.46% (w/w) chitin content through high wet modulus (HWM) procedure. The spinnability of the invested solutions was found to vary in the following order: chitin < cellulose < 9.5:0.5 blend < 9:1 blend < 8:2 blend < 5:5 blend (9:1 means the mass ratio of cellulose to chitin, so does 9.5:0.5, 8:2, and 5:5). The cross‐section of the blend filaments is of chrysanthemum shape. It was shown through the SEM photographs that there existed grooves on the surface of filaments, which became coarse with increase in chitin content. Based on the data from X‐ray, sonic velocity, intensity, and hygroscopicity, it is concluded that the degree of crystallinity, dry and wet intensity modulus, degree of orientation, and regain rate of the filaments decreased with increase in chitin content in the experiment scope. The mechanical properties of the blend filaments are much higher than those of Crabyon fiber and normal viscose filaments, which proves that the HWM method is an efficient way of preparing cellulose/chitin blend filaments with satisfactory mechanical properties and processing property. The blend filaments prepared have an effective biostatic effect on Staphylococcus aureus, Escherchia coli, and Corinebaterium michiganence according to different testing standards. The poly(3‐hydroxbutyrate‐co‐3‐hydroxyvalerate)/poly(ε‐caprolactone) block copolymers (PHCLs) with three different weight ratios of PCL blocks (38%, named PHCL‐38; 53%, named PHCL‐53; and 60%, named PHCL‐60) were synthesized by using PHBV with two hydroxyl end groups to initiate ring‐opening polymerization of ε‐caprolactone. During DSC cooling process, melt crystallization of PHCL‐53 at relatively high cooling rates (9, 12, and 15 °C min?1) and PHCL‐60 at all the selected cooling rates corresponded to PCL blocks so that PHCL‐53 and PHCL‐60 were used to study the nonisothermal crystallization behaviors of PCL blocks. The kinetics of PCL blocks in PHCL‐53 and PHCL‐60 under nonisothermal crystallization conditions were analyzed by Mo equation. Mo equation was successful in describing the nonisothermal crystallization kinetics of PCL blocks in PHCLs. Crystallization activation energy were estimated using Kissinger's method. The results of kinetic parameters showed that both blocks crystallized more difficultly than corresponding homopolymers. Poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) can form either the inclusion complex with α‐cyclodextrins (α‐CDs) through host–guest interactions or the interpolymer complex with poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) through hydrogen‐bonding interaction. Mixing α‐CD, PEG, and PAA ternary components in an aqueous solution, the competition between host–guest and hydrogen‐bonding interactions occurs. Increasing feed ratio of α‐CD:EG:AA from 0:1:1 to 0.2:1:1 (molar ratio), various interesting supramolecular polymer systems, such as hydrogen‐bonding complex, dynamic polyrotaxane, crystalline inclusion complex, and thermoresponsive hydrogel, are successively obtained. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A novel Pb(II) ion-imprinted mesoporous sorbent (IIMS) was synthesized by a surface imprinting technique combined with a sol-gel process and characterized by FT-IR and N2 adsorption-desorption. Compared to the non-imprinted mesoporous sorbent (NIMS), the IIMS had a higher adsorption capacity and selectivity for Pb(II). The maximum static adsorption capacities of the IIMS and NIMS for Pb(II) were 221 and 173 mg g?1, respectively. The relative selectivity coefficients of the sorbent for Pb(II) in the presence of Cd(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) were 3.7, 1.9 and 3.4, respectively. Furthermore, the IIMS possessed a fast kinetics for Pb(II) sorption from aqueous solution with saturation time of <?20 min, and could be used repeatedly. The detection limit (3σ) of this method was 0.23 ng mL?1 and relative standard deviation of 11 replicate determinations was 3.7 %. The IIMS has been applied to selectively separate and determine Pb(II) in real water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献
