One palladium dichloride adduct of a phosphine-pyridine ligand N-diphenylphosphanyl-2-aminopyridine (L1) [(L1)PdCl2] (1) has been prepared and structurally characterized. Compound 1 can be used as an effective catalyst for the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions of unreactive aryl chlorides with aryl boronic acids, and worked much better than its mono- or bidentate phosphine ligands. A novel near infrared ratiometric fluorescent chemosensor based on triphenylamine, thiophene and benzothiadiazole has been developed. The emission wavelength of sensor DTPAT-BT-S was in the near infrared region. The wavelength changed from 656 nm to 723 nm, and got a rather long stokes shift about 170 nm. A wide range of monoallylic alcohols with alkyl or aryl substituents on olefin smoothly undergo ring closure to deliver corresponding oxa-heterocycles. As one of the important industrial chemicals, hydrazine (N2H4) can be inhaled through the skin, leading to many serious health issues. In this paper, we constructed a novel turn-on fluorescent probe HBTM for N2H4 detection based on ESIPT and ICT mechanism by incorporating the methyl dicyanvinyl group to 2-(2′-hydroxylphenyl) benzothiazole (HBT) fluorophore. The probe showed the following advantages: high sensitivity with detection limit of 2.9 × 10?7 M, high selectivity over other related interfering species, wide linear range of 0–140 μM and pH value adaptation. Inorganic nanoparticles are widely used to improve space charge behavior, DC breakdown strength and other electrical properties of polymer insulating materials, but the uniform distribution of inorganic nanofillers in matrix is difficult due to their agglomeration and bad compatibility with the polymeric matrix. In this paper, polypropylene (PP)/polystyrene (PS) blends were prepared to suppress space charge accumulation and improve DC breakdown strength. Polypropylene-g-polystyrene (PP-g-PS) graft copolymer was used as compatibilizer to improve the compatibility of PP matrix and PS filler. The evolution of microstructure of PP/PS blends were investigated by scanning electron microscope (SEM), the space charge distributions were measured by a pulsed electro-acoustic (PEA) system, and DC breakdown strength was also tested. The morphologies show that the size of PS particles reduced to 310 nm when the content of PP-g-PS graft copolymer increased to 24 wt%, and the interaction between PP matrix and PS particles enhanced. The presence of PS particles in all PP/PS blends suppressed the space charge accumulation compared to neat PP, but the DC breakdown strength in uncompatibilized blend was lower than neat PP. The increasing of content of PP-g-PS improved the DC breakdown strength with the maximum value of 408.9 kV/mm was obtained. Dynamic mechanical behaviour of natural rubber-silica composites was studied by a frequency sweep method at different temperatures (40 °C,70 °C and 100 °C) using a dynamic mechanical analyzer and a rotorless rheometer, RPA, in an attempt to establish a correlation between the two. The composites with silica content up to 40 phr were studied. It was found that the dependence of dynamic modulus on the frequency as obtained from both the instruments followed a similar trend. This suggests that the dynamic mechanical properties of rubber compounds can be determined even during curing. A correlation could be arrived at between the two sets of data, making it possible to predict one set knowing the other. The impact of silane coupling agent, bis (3-triethoxysilylpropyl tetrasulphide), TESPT, on viscoelasticity was also investigated. The mechanical properties were improved in the presence of TESPT. Additionally, an increase in thermal stability was also observed in the presence of TESPT. Flat sheet asymmetric membranes were fabricated with homogeneous solution of poly (vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) (PVDF-co-HFP) using N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) as solvent via phase inversion method. PEGME (Poly ethylene glycol methyl ether) (Mn 5000) blend Humic Acid (HA), of different mole ratio was used as additive. Characterization of the membranes was done by Field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, Atomic force microscopy (AFM) and Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) studies. Liquid-liquid displacement porosimetry (LLDP) study evaluated the morphological parameters, average pore size and pore size distribution. Bovine serum albumin (BSA) (MW - 68,000 Da) was used to study the antifouling effect and pore blocking mechanism of the membranes. The pure water flux (PWF), solute rejection and flux recovery ratio drastically increases for the PEGME blended HA membranes whereas the water contact angle decreases significantly. The pH responsiveness character of the prepared membranes altered the hydraulic permeability and rejection % at different pH. Finally, optimization of the variables contributing towards the PWF and BSA rejection of the desired membrane was performed using Design expert software 9.0 TRIAL through ANOVA (analysis of variance) using the combination of response surface methodology (RSM) and central composite design (CCD). 相似文献

This investigation examines the transient deformation and heat generation of a solid polyurethane subjected to dynamic compression. A special method is presented to prepare the solid polyurethane from raw materials which are commonly used to make polyurethane foams. Testing methods including infrared spectrum, differential scanning calorimetry, quasi-static and dynamic compression were applied to study the basic physical properties of the solid polyurethane. High-speed optical and infrared imaging systems are used to obtain visual and thermo-graphic images during impact tests. Under quasi-static compression, the solid polyurethane presents a good performance in toughness. This is confirmed by its Poisson's ratio. Under impact compression, the adiabatic heat generation are identified statistically. Temperature distribution confirms the fact of transient heat generation in specimens. Adiabatic self-heating mechanism provides a consideration to understand the negative strain-rate effect and post-yield softening effect found in the solid polyurethane. Mechanical properties including quasi-static and dynamic responses are related with the composition of molecular and structure of polymer. 相似文献

A series of rheological experiments was performed for a polypropylene (PP) melt to explore its elongation behavior through a capillary die. Using an advanced twin-bore capillary rheometer with dies measuring 1.0, 0.5, and 0.25 mm in diameter, the experiments were performed at 210, 220, and 230 °C. The results indicated that the temperature of the PP melt had a significant effect on its extensional viscosity. The different decreases in the extensional viscosity values in the tested dies revealed the geometry dependence of the extensional viscosity. In the case of PP in the 0.25 mm die at 210 °C, the extensional viscosity values under different extensional strain rates were much higher than those in the other dies. Only in the 1.0 mm die did the relationship between the extensional viscosity of PP and its temperature obey the Arrhenius equation due to the larger die size which related to a slight size effect on its elongation behavior. The calculated deviations of the extensional viscosity in the tested dies demonstrated that the increasing pressure applied to the PP melt in the micro channel was related to the geometry dependence of the elongation behavior of the PP melt. The change in the extensional viscosity eventually relied on the interaction of the die geometry, the temperature, and the extensional stress of the PP melt. 相似文献
