Experimental study of trapped-electron-mode properties in tokamaks: threshold and stabilization by collisions

Trapped electron modes are one of the candidates to explain turbulence driven electron heat transport observed in tokamaks. This instability has two characteristics: a threshold in normalized gradient and stabilization by collisions. Experiments using modulated electron cyclotron heating in the ASDEX Upgrade tokamak demonstrate explicitly the existence of the threshold. The stabilization with increasing collisionality is evidenced by a strong decrease of the propagation of heat pulses, explained by a transition to ion temperature gradient driven transport. These results are supported by linear gyrokinetic calculations.

A STUDY OF NOVEL NEAR INFRARED LASER DYES WITH TUNING RANGE FROM 70O TO 900 nm

In this paper, the characteristics of three novel near infrared laser dyes withwide-tuning ranges and high conversion efficiency are reported. The tunable spectral regions ofthese dyes pumped by the second harmonic pulse(532nm)of Nd: YAG laser are from 700nmto 900nm with a conversion efficiency between 6.6% and 9.0%. The aborption spectraand fluorescence spectra of these dyes are also given.

Zusammenfassung Ein neuer, sehr empfindlicher Nitritnachweis wird beschrieben, der auf der Umsetzung des Nitrits mit Antipyrin in Gegenwart von Kaliumchromat beruht. Die Reaktion verläuft auch bei Anwesenheit nahezu sämtlicher anderen Anionen — einschließlich Jodid — störungsfrei. Im letzteren Falle muß allerdings ein etwas abgewandeltes Verfahren angewendet werden.

Summary Nitrite can be identified by using the reaction with antipyrine in presence of potassium chromate. This very sensitive test is not influenced by almost all other anions, only the presence of iodide requires a modified technique.

用薄层光密度法测定了十个生产单位的18批培植牛黄的游离和结合胆汁酸的含量,并与天然牛黄及牛胆粉比较,结果表明,培植牛黄含有与天然牛黄相同的胆汁酸成分,其中培植牛黄的游离胆汁酸比天然牛黄略高,结合胆汁酸含量多数样品与天然牛黄相当,总胆汁酸含量多数样品比天然牛黄略高。
