The experimental fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) and ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectra of copper(II) and nickel(II) complexes of the deprotonated tetradentate Schiff base ligand N,N′-bis(2-hydroxybenzylidene)-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine (H2L) are compared with their corresponding theoretical ones. The applied theoretical method is based on the density functional theory and time-dependent density functional theory at the UPBE0/PBE0 levels using Def2-TZVP basis set. The computational optimised geometric parameters of the complexes are in good agreement with their corresponding experimental data. The FT-IR and UV-Vis spectra of the complexes were reproduced on the basis of their optimised structures. The vibrational assignments of some fundamental modes of the complexes are performed. The highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) energies are calculated. The analyses of the calculated electronic absorption spectra of the complexes are carried out to elucidate the electronic transitions assignments and their characters. Second-order nonlinear optical property of the complexes is evaluated by the above-mentioned theoretical method that implies much greater values for the complexes in comparison with the corresponding value of urea.  相似文献

Abstract  

Aryldiazonium silica sulfates were employed as new and efficient reagents for Heck-type arylation reactions with styrene and methyl acrylate. The reactions were carried out in an organic solvent, in the presence of Pd(OAc)2 as precatalyst without use of base and free ligand. The trans isomers of desired products, methyl cinnamates and stilbenes, were obtained with full conversion. Use of a catalytic amount of Pd(OAc)2 produced the corresponding products in short reaction times and excellent yields.  相似文献

Abstract  

This paper describes microwave-assisted synthesis of a new MFI-type zeolite, Zeolite Secony Mobile (ZSM-5), its characterization by X-ray diffractometry (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and its application for fabrication of a modified carbon paste electrode. This novel electrode was employed for sensitive and simultaneous determination of dopamine and uric acid at biological pH (pH 7.0). The results show that this zeolite-modified carbon paste electrode significantly improves the electron transfer rate and reduces the overpotential of dopamine and uric acid oxidation without any fouling effect due to deposition of their oxidized products. The linear analytical curves were obtained in the ranges of 9.0 × 10−6–4.9 × 10−4 and 8.0 × 10−6–9.0 × 10−4 M for dopamine and uric acid, respectively, by using differential pulse voltammetry based on oxidation of these biomolecules. The detection limits (2σ) were determined for dopamine and uric acid as 7.9 × 10−6 and 7.1 × 10−6 M, respectively. This method has been successfully employed for quantification of dopamine and uric acid in real samples.  相似文献

A novel electrode was prepared by forming TiO2 thin films using a commercially available TiO2 powder (Degussa P25) on graphite plates for water photoelectrocatalytic decontamination. In addition to, for the first time the photoelectrochemical degradation of 3,4‐dichlorophenol was investigated. The effects of applied potential, pH, and initial 3,4‐dichlorophenol concentration on the photoelectrocatalytic (PEC) degradation of 3,4‐dichlorophenol using ultraviolet (UV) illuminated TiO2/graphite (TiO2/C) thin film electrode was examined and discussed. Also, direct photolysis (DP), electrochemical oxidation (EC), photocatalytic (PC) and photoelectrocatalytic (PEC) degradation of 3,4‐dichlorophenol were compared. Results show that the best responses for PEC are obtained at applied potential 1.2 V versus reference electrode, pH 8.0 and initial 3,4‐dichlorophenol concentration 6.7 mg L?1.  相似文献

An efficient and straightforward procedure for the Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling reaction was studied by using aryldiazonium silica sulfates and sodium tetraphenylborate in the presence of a catalytic amount of Pd(OAc)2. A single-wavelength Brillouin laser is demonstrated by using a 3-m-long erbium doped fiber (EDF) in a ring cavity. The EDF is used to provide both nonlinear and linear gains to generate a stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) and to amplify the generated SBS, respectively. The Brillouin erbium fiber laser (BEFL) operates at 1561.5 nm, where the operating wavelength is up-shifted by 0.08nm from the Brillouin pump. The operation wavelength is also tunable within 1560.6-1562.6nm. The BEFL Mso shows a self-pulsing characteristic with repetition of 66. 7kHz when the BP is set around the threshold pump power of 13roW. Compared to the conventional Brillouin fiber laser with a long cavity length, the proposed BEFL exhibits a significantly lower amplitude of pulse. This laser has many potential applications, such as in optical communication and sensors.  相似文献
