Two-phase potentiometric titration was used to determine partition constants for a series of -aminophosphonates (RO)2P(O)CH2NR1R2 [R = Alk (C2-C5), R1, R2 = Me, Et, (CH2)5] between water and organic solvents, such as chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, toluene, octane, n-octanol, nitrobenzene, o-xylene, and cyclohexane. Correlations between the partition constants and the number of carbon atoms in substrate molecules were obtained. Heterogeneous catalysts for liquid-phase oxidation of cyclohexene with molecular oxygen were prepared by topological-anchor immobilization on CaA zeolite of a monomeric Cu(II) chelate with N,N′-trimethylenebis(2-methyl-1-benzoylglyoxal 1-phenylhydrazone 2-imine) and of an oligomeric product of its condensation with ethylenediamine. The samples prepared contain surface monomeric and oligomeric Cu(II) chelates oriented toward the reaction medium, which makes them accessible to reactant molecules. The catalytic properties of the above monomeric chelate are preserved in going to the oligomers. The apparent rate constants per metal center for both homogeneous (soluble monomeric chelate) and heterogeneous modes coincide, suggesting the pseudohomogeneous behavior of the supported samples. The topological-anchor immobilization of insoluble oligomeric Cu(II) polychelates on zeolite leads to their more efficient utilization as heterogeneous catalysts and can be considered as one of examples of combining advantages of homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis.  相似文献

A -Al2O3 supported Re–Pt bimetallic catalyst prepared by electrochemical adsorption has been studied in n-hexane dehydrocyclization, using the slug-pulse method. The activity of the Re–Pt/Al2O3 catalyst treated only in hydrogen was low, but markedly increased by a calcination step before hydrogen treatment. The modified catalyst showed higher activity and increased selectivities for benzene and iso-hexanes than the base Pt/Al2O3 catalyst.

Four new bis(m-phenylene)-32-crown-10-based cryptands with different third bridges were prepared. Their complexes with paraquat derivatives were studied by proton NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and X-ray analysis. It was found that these cryptands bind paraquat derivatives very strongly. Specifically, a diester cryptand with a pyridyl nitrogen atom located at a site occupied by either water or a PF(6) anion in analogous complexes exhibited the highest association constant K(a) = 5.0 x 10(6) M(-1) in acetone with paraquat, 9000 times greater than the crown ether system. X-ray structures of this and analogous complexes demonstrate that improved complexation with this host is a consequence of preorganization, adequate ring size for occupation by the guest, and the proper location of the pyridyl N-atom for binding to the beta-pyridinium hydrogens of the paraquat guests. This readily accessible cryptand is one of the most powerful hosts reported for paraquats.  相似文献

New di-o-quinones of the biphenyl series, namely, 2,2′-dialkyl-5,5′-di-tert-butylbiphenyl-3,4,3′,4′-diquinones, were synthesized. Their structures were established by IR and NMR spectroscopy. The molecular structure of 2,2′-dimethyl-5,5′-di-tert-butylbiphenyl-3,4,3′,4′-diquinone was established by X-ray structural analysis. The structure is characterized by orthogonal (the torsion angle is 82.9°) mutual arrangement ofo-benzoquinone fragments. ESR studies demonstrated that chemical reduction of diquinone proceeds in four oneelectron stages to form paramagnetic mono- and trianions as intermediates. Quinopyrocatechols, which are intermediates in the synthesis of di-o-quinones, were isolated and characterized. For the first time ESR spectra of47Ti-enriched Ziegler system Ti-TIBA in toluene have been studied. For the ratio Ti/Al1, more accurate h. f. s. constants have been found. For Ti/Al1/15 no h. f. s. have been observed, which is ascribed to ordering due to the cooperative Jahn-Teller effect.

The ligand 1,4-bis[4-(diphenylphosphino)butyl]-2,3,5,6-tetramethylbenzene, 3, was used to synthesize a mononuclear Rh(II) complex [(eta(1):eta(6):eta(1)-1,4-bis[4-(diphenylphosphino)butyl]-2,3,5,6-tetramethylbenzene)Rh][PF(6)](2), 6+, in a two-legged piano-stool geometry. The structural and electronic properties of this novel complex including a single-crystal EPR analysis are reported. The complex can be cleanly interconverted with its Rh(I) form, allowing for a comparison of the structural properties and reactivity of both oxidation states. The Rh(I) form 6 reacts with CO, tert-butyl isocyanide, and acetonitrile to form a series of 15-membered mononuclear cyclophanes [(eta(1):eta(1)-1,4-bis[4-(diphenylphosphino)butyl]-2,3,5,6-tetramethylbenzene)Rh(CO)(3)][PF(6)] (8), [(eta(1):eta(1)-1,4-bis[4-(diphenylphosphino)butyl]-2,3,5,6-tetramethylbenzene)Rh(CNC(CH(3))(3))(2)][PF(6)] (10), and [(eta(1):eta(1)-1,4-bis[4-(diphenylphosphino)butyl]-2,3,5,6-tetramethylbenzene)Rh(CO)(CH(3)CN)][PF(6)] (11). The Rh(II) complex 6+ reacts with the same small molecules, but over shorter periods of time, to form the same Rh(I) products. In addition, a model two-legged piano-stool complex [(eta(1):eta(6):eta(1)-1,4-bis[3-(diphenylphosphino)propoxy]-2,3,5,6-tetramethylbenzene)Rh][B(C(6)F(5))(4)], 5, has been synthesized and characterized for comparison purposes. The solid-state structures of complexes 5, 6, 6+, and 11 are reported. Data on ethylene polymerization on homogeneous and supported catalysts based on 2,6-bis(imino)pyridyl Fe(II) complexes activated by trialkylaluminums are considered (activity, the molecular-weight characteristics of polymers, the number of active sites, and the propagation rate constants). Unlike homogeneous systems, the supported catalysts prepared with the use of various carriers (SiO2, Al2O3, and MgCl2) exhibited high stability and activity at 70–80°C and produced high-molecular-weight polyethylene with a broad molecular-weight distribution (MWD). The molecular weights and MWDs of polymers and the propagation rate constant depended on the nature of the carrier only slightly. The reasons for an unusual effect of an increase in the activity of the supported catalysts in ethylene polymerization in the presence of hydrogen are discussed.  相似文献

A combined study of intrinsic structural defects in reduced TiO2 was performed using mass spectrometry, optical diffuse-reflectance spectroscopy, and UV photoelectron spectroscopy (UPS). It was found that the reduction of TiO2 resulted in the appearance of absorption in the region 0.50 h 3.50 eV (400 2500 nm), which is formed by absorption due to free electrons (a continuum at h 1.50 eV), local centers—Ti3+ ions (a band at 2.00 eV), and oxygen vacancies (bands at 1.17, 2.81, and 2.55 eV). The spectrum of induced occupied electronic states in the forbidden gap and the position of oxygen vacancy levels with respect to the Fermi level were determined by UPS. The absorption of reduced TiO2 was stable on the sample to T = 800 K in a vacuum; however, it weakened in contact with O2, NO, and N2O molecules beginning at T = 300 K (surface sites) and T 400 K (subsurface sites) as a result of filling oxygen vacancies with atomic oxygen in the course of dissociative adsorption. The adsorption complexes formed by the interaction of O2, NO, and N2O with defects were analyzed by temperature-programmed desorption. The distribution of sites over the energies of oxygen binding was found with the use of a nonuniform surface model, and specific oxygen adsorption species were revealed. It was found that the irradiation of TiO2 activates the formation and decay of sites and results in the formation of specific O2 and N2O adsorption species.  相似文献

Reaction of Pd(TMEDA)(CH(3))(2) [TMEDA = tetramethylethylenediamine] with fluoroalkyl iodides R(F)I affords a series of square planar Pd(II) complexes Pd(TMEDA)(CH(3))(R(F)) [R(F) = CF(2)CF(3) (9), CFHCF(3) (10), CH(2)CF(3) (11)], presumably by oxidative addition followed by reductive elimination of CH(3)I. The solid-state structures of each compound have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction studies, allowing the effect of increasing alpha-fluorination on the structural trans-influence of alkyl ligands to be examined. In these compounds there is no significant difference observed in the trans-influence of the three fluorinated alkyl ligands toward the trans-N atom, although a significant cis-influence on the neighboring methyl ligand is apparent. Oxidative addition of the same series of fluoroalkyl ligands to the corresponding Pt(TMEDA)(CH(3))(2) affords octahedral Pt(IV) complexes trans-Pt(TMEDA)(CH(3))(2)(R(F))I [R(F) = CF(2)CF(3) (12), CFHCF(3) (13), CH(2)CF(3) (14)] as the kinetic products. In each case, subsequent isomerization to the corresponding all cis-isomers is observed; in the case of 13, the stereocenter at the alpha-carbon results in two diastereomeric cis-isomers, which are formed at different rates. The molecular structures of 13 and its more stable all cis-isomer 16b have been crystallographically determined. Kinetic studies of the trans-cis isomerization reactions show the mechanism to involve a polar transition state, presumably involving iodide dissociation, followed by rearrangement of the cation, and iodide recombination. High dielectric solvents increase the rate, but solvent coordinating ability has no effect. Dissolved salts (LiI, LiOTf) show normal accelerative salt effects, with no inhibition in the case of added iodide, consistent with the formation of an intimate ion pair intermediate. The kinetic parameters show that the trans-effects of fluoroalkyl ligands in these compounds follow the order expected from the relative sigma-donor properties of the ligands, with CF(2)CF(3) < CFHCF(3) < CH(2)CF(3).  相似文献
