Condensation and flow experiments were conducted at subsurface conditions in a glass micromodel using reservoir fluids with and without the hydrogen sulfide component. It has been noted that the formation of the condensing phase as well as modes of condensate flow are similar for both fluids. Furthermore, an additional condensate transport mechanism, termed lamella flow, was observed with the sour fluid. It has been concluded that core flow experiments conducted with sweet reservoir fluid should reproduce the flow of sour fluid to a large extent.  相似文献

The conditions for the existence of low-frequency electrostatic drift wave in pair-ion plasma are discussed. It is shown that the temperature and/or mass difference of both species could produce drift wave in a pair-ion plasma. In this paper, a novel synchronization scheme is investigated for a class of chaotic systems. The multiswitching synchronization scheme is extended to the combination–combination synchronization scheme such that the combination of state variables of two drive systems synchronize with different combination of state variables of two response systems, simultaneously. The new scheme, multiswitching combination–combination synchronization (MSCCS), is a notable extension of the earlier multiswitching schemes concerning only the single drive–response system model. Various multiswitching modified projective synchronization schemes are obtained as special cases of MSCCS, for a suitable choice of scaling factors. Suitable controllers have been designed and using Lyapunov stability theory sufficient condition is obtained to achieve MSCCS between four hyperchaotic systems and the corresponding theoretical proof is given. Numerical simulations are performed to validate the theoretical results.  相似文献

The behavior of the mixed amphiphilic drug promethazine hydrochloride(PMT) and cationic as well as nonionic surfactants was studied by tensiometry.The cmc values of the PMT-surfactant systems decrease at a surfactant mole fraction of 0.1 and it then becomes constant.The critical micelle concentration(cmc) values are lower than the ideal cmc(cmc*) values for PMT/TX-100,PMT/TX-114,PMT/Tween 20,and PMT/Tween 60 systems.For the PMT/Tween 40,PMT/Tween 80,PMT/CPC,and PMT/CPB systems the cmc values are close to the cmc* values.This indicates that PMT forms mixed micelles with these surfactants by attractive interactions.The surface excess(Γmax) decreases in the presence of surfactants.The rigid structure of the drug makes adsorption easier and the contribution of the surfactant at the interface decreases.The interaction parameters βm(for the mixed micelles) and βσ(for the mixed monolayer) are negative indicating attraction among the mixed components.  相似文献

Ni/γ-Al2O3 , Ni/Y-zeolite, and Ni/H-ZSM-5 catalysts were prepared using the incipient wetness impregnation method. Their catalytic performance in dry reforming of methane was studied. The fresh and used catalysts and deposited carbon were characterized using H2 temperature-programmed reduction, temperature-programmed oxidation, N2 adsorption-desorption, X-ray diffraction, and thermogravimetric analysis. The H-ZSM-5-supported Ni catalyst proved to be more stable than the other two catalysts, as it had the lowest carbon deposition.  相似文献

The binding interaction of captopril (CPL) with biologically active metal ions Mg2+, Ca2+, Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+ and Zn2+ was investigated in an aqueous acidic medium by fluorescence spectroscopy. The experimental results showed that the metal ions quenched the intrinsic fluorescence of CPL by forming CPL‐metal complexes. It was found that static quenching was the main reason for the fluorescence quenching. The quenching constant in the case of Cu2+ was highest among all quenchers, perhaps due to its high nuclear charge and small size. Quenching of CPL by metal ions follows the order Cu2+>Ni2+>Co2+>Ca2+>Zn2+>Mn2+>Mg2+. The quenching constant Ksv, bimolecular quenching constant Kq, binding constant K and the binding sites "n" were determined together with their thermodynamic parameters at 27 and 37°C. The positive entropy change indicated the gain in configurational entropy as a result of chelation. The process of interaction was spontaneous and mainly ΔS‐driven.  相似文献

Every year, tuberculosis affects the lungs of millions of people and rifampicin is the commonly used medicine for its treatment due to its antibiotic nature. The frequent use of rifampicin may lead to its increased concentration in the water resources. This research work is focused on the cloud point extraction (CPE) procedure for the preconcentration of rifampicin prior to its determination in water. The UV/vis spectrophotometric method was adapted for the measurement of rifampicin content after the phase separation. Triton-X 100 was used as the nonionic surfactant which contains hydrophilic polyethylene chain feasible for the extraction of analyte. Various analytical parameters that can affect the extraction efficacy were optimized to achieve linearity of the proposed method in the concentration range of 3.54–81.41 mgL–1. The Limit of detection and quantification were 1.261 and 4.212 mgL1, respectively. The Preconcentration factor was 40 with relative standard deviation (%RSD) of 2.504%. The standard addition methodology was adopted for the validation of this procedure and effectively applied for the determination of rifampicin in real wastewater samples.  相似文献

The unavailability of wasted energy due to the irreversibility in the process is called the entropy generation.An irreversible process is a process in which the entropy of the system is increased.The second law of thermodynamics is used to define whether the given system is reversible or irreversible.Here,our focus is how to reduce the entropy of the system and maximize the capability of the system.There are many methods for maximizing the capacity of heat transport.The constant pressure gradient or motion of the wall can be used to increase the heat transfer rate and minimize the entropy.The objective of this study is to analyze the heat and mass transfer of an Eyring-Powell fluid in a porous channel.For this,we choose two different fluid models,namely,the plane and generalized Couette flows.The flow is generated in the channel due to a pressure gradient or with the moving of the upper lid.The present analysis shows the effects of the fluid parameters on the velocity,the temperature,the entropy generation,and the Bejan number.The nonlinear boundary value problem of the flow problem is solved with the help of the regular perturbation method.To validate the perturbation solution,a numerical solution is also obtained with the help of the built-in command NDSolve of MATHEMATICA 11.0.The velocity profile shows the shear thickening behavior via first-order Eyring-Powell parameters.It is also observed that the profile of the Bejan number has a decreasing trend against the Brinkman number.Whenηi→0(i=1,2,3),the Eyring-Powell fluid is transformed into a Newtonian fluid.  相似文献
