A highly efficient, solid-phase synthesis of 2-arylamino-5-(4-hydroxy-phenyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives under mild conditions has been developed. The 1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives were synthesized from resin-bound acylhydrazines in several steps, which gave 78–88% overall yields and excellent purities of the products.  相似文献

Abstract

A series of new nitrogen heterocyclic compounds containing sulfur–ether (8a–8f) and Schiff-base (9a–9q) functionalities were synthesized by the reaction of the pharmaceutical lead compound containing both benzimidazole and 1,2,4-triazole rings. Emamectin benzoate, a macrocyclic lactone, can be used in low quantities to control arthropod pests, effectively. However, its poor photostability prevents its further use. To delay its photodegradation, novel acrylate‐type polymeric nanoparticles were synthesized and tested as materials for improving pesticide photostability. N‐acylated emamectin benzoate was synthesized via bonding emamectin benzoate to acrylamide. The resulting pesticide, containing the double bond linkage –C=C–N–, was copolymerized with butyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate by the emulsion polymerization method. The refined polymers were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy spectroscopy, and result illustrated the pesticide was conjugated to the polymers. Atomic force microscope and dynamic light scattering analyses were also used for determining the average particle diameters of pesticide–polymer conjugates. Photostability tests showed that the nanoparticles obtained exhibited greatly improved photostability. Additionally, the laboratory toxicity tests demonstrated that the insecticidal effects of the novel emamectin benzoate formulation were better than those of the control pesticide formulation (emamectin benzoate EC). The understanding of the gas dynamics of the atmospheric pressure interface is very important for the development of mass spectrometry systems with high sensitivity. While the gas flows at high pressure (>1 Torr) and low pressure (<10–3 Torr) stages are relatively well understood and could be modeled using continuum and molecular flows, respectively, the theoretical modeling or numeric simulation of gas flow through the transition pressure stage (1 to 10–3 Torr) remains challenging. In this study, we used the direct simulation Monte Carlo (DMSC) method to develop the gas dynamic simulations for the continuous and discontinuous atmospheric pressure interfaces (API), with different focuses on the ion transfer by gas flows through a skimmer or directly from the atmospheric pressure to a vacuum stage, respectively. The impacts by the skimmer location in the continuous API and the temporal evolvement of the gas flow with a discontinuous API were characterized, which provide a solid base for the instrument design and performance improvement.

The surface contact disinfecting technique is a newly developed method for water sterilization. In this paper, the grafted quaternary ammonium salts (QAS) antibacterial fibers were prepared and designed to apply for the surface contact disinfecting process in water treatment. The antibacterial fibers were directly prepared by grafting methacryloxylethyl benzyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (DMAE-BC) onto cellulose fiber using thiocarbonate-H2O2 redox system. All kinds of factors in the grafting reactions, such as reaction time, reaction temperature, monomer concentration, initiator concentration, which influence the percentage of grafting, were studied and optimized. The modified cellulose fibers were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and scanning electron microscope(SEM). The effects of the percentage of grafting of the grafted cellulose fibers on bactericidal activity were also studied. The spread plate method was used to characterize the bactericidal activity. The disinfection process was further investigated by directly observing the morphology of the bacterial cells adsorbed on the antibacterial fibers with SEM and measuring extracelluar total protein concentration in suspension. The poly(DMAE-BC)-grafted cellulose ?ber was found to exhibit particularly high activity against E.coli.  相似文献

Abstract

The ion conduction of a blend of poly(oxyethylene) (PEO) and lithium methoxy oligo(oxyethylene) sulfate (SAL8) and its electrochemical characteristics were studied. The maximum ambient conductivity of the blend reaches 1.2 × 10?6 S/cm. The blend exhibits single-ion conduction, excellent mechanical performance, and electrochemical stability. A battery of Li/PEO + SAL8/Li1+xV3O8 has a constant discharge capacity at different discharge current densities up to a certain voltage, while the discharge capacity of Li/P (MEO16-AM) + LiClO4/Li1+xV3O8 decreases with an increase of the discharge current density.  相似文献

Sequential anionic copolymerization of styrene and glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) was performed with the protection of argon under normal pressure, where styrene, GMA, toluene, THF, n-butyllithium and a small amount of lithium chloride (LiCl) were used as first monomer, second monomer, solvent, polar reagent, initiator and additive, respectively. Polystyrene-b-poly(glycidyl methacrylate) diblock copolymers (PS-b-PGMA) with well-defined structure and narrow molecular weight distribution were prepared by the copolymerization reaction of poly(styryl)lithium with GMA under certain temperatures. The copolymers were characterized using gel permeation chromatography (GPC), 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, thin layer chromatography (TLC) and hydrochloric acid-dioxane argentimetric methods. The effects of additives, copolymerization temperature and THF dosage on the copolymerization were studied. No chain transfer reaction of anionic polymerization of styrene in toluene was observed. Slightly broader molecular weight distribution of PS-b-PGMA was observed with the increase the GMA repeat units. Using THF/toluene blend solvent could reduce the polydispersity index (M w /M n ) and dissolve the copolymer better than toluene alone. Lower temperature (< -40°C) and LiCl are required to prepare PS-b-PGMA with narrower molecular weight distribution.  相似文献

In order to prepare the advanced cellulosic super-absorbent polymer with high grafting level, we tried the novel ultrasound wave assisting polyethylene glycol (PEG) pre-treatment method to decrease the crystallinity and increase the accessibility of cellulose fiber. The effects of ultrasonification assisting PEG method on the crystallinity and swelling capacity of cellulose fiber were investigated. To optimize the experimental condition, the Taguchi method was employed in the treatment process. The influence factors such as ultrasonic wave power, ultrasonic wave time and PEG molecular weight relative to the crystallinity of cellulose fiber were studied systematically. The degree of crystallinity of cellulose fiber was measured by wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD). The morphology of cellulose fiber was observed by environment scanning electron microscopy (ESEM). The effects of pre-treatment variables on the water absorbency and water retention values of cellulose fiber were also investigated. The research results revealed that, under the optimal experimental condition (ultrasonic powder, 500 W; ultrasonic time, 150 s; PEG molecular weight, 600 g/mol), the crystallinity of cellulose fiber decreased from 72.16 to 42.95%. Accordingly, the absorbency of cellulose fiber increased from 1.436 to 2.063 g/g, and the water retention value increased from 47.21 to 113.4%. However, the morphology of cellulose fiber did not change thoroughly compared with the original cellulose fiber. It can be hypothesized that the original inter- and intra-macromolecular hydrogen bonds in cellulose network were weakened, resulting from the high level dispersion of PEG within cellulose network without breaking the surface morphology of fiber.  相似文献

Europium triundecylenate, Eu(UA)3, and terbium triundecylenate, Tb(UA)3, were prepared by the method described in our previous paper. Either Eu(UA)3 or Tb(UA)3 was dissolved in methacrylic acid (<20%) and copolymerized as a crosslinker with methyl methacrylate (>80) by bulk polymerization in molds made of two glass plates. The fluorescence spectroscopy of these Eu- or Tb-containing polymers under ultraviolet/visible excitation light was investigated. The fluorescence spectroscopy of solutions of Eu(UA)3 or Tb(UA)3 in methacrylic acid was measured and compared with that of the solid-state Eu- or Tb-containing polymers. The fluorescence excitation and emission spectra of the solutions and polymers showed the characteristic features of free Eu3+ or Tb3+. The lifetime fluorescence of the solutions and polymers with Eu3+ are also included.  相似文献

This article presents an original work aimed at rationally designing molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) toward a high specific adsorbent. Assembling with cobalt as the pivot, the MIP was prepared by coordinating polymerizable monomers around an inducible template. The use of pivot obviously plays a positive role on increasing the specificity of MIP, so as to adsorb more for the template and less for its analogue. Related studies indicate that these may be a result of increasing specific interaction, which makes the MIP capable of recognizing the imprint species. Further information from thermodynamic analysis reveals that the increasing specific interaction, in logic, can be due to a higher fidelity of imprint, which specifically allures the template to bind.  相似文献
