An amperometric flow biosensor for oxalate determination in urine samples after enzymatic reaction with oxalate oxidase immobilized on a modified magnetic solid is described. The solid was magnetically retained on the electrode surface of an electrode modified with Fe (III)-tris-(2-thiopyridone) borate placed into a sequential injection system preceding the amperometric detector. The variables involved in the system such as flow rate, aspired volumes (modified magnetic suspension and sample) and reaction coil length were evaluated using a Taguchi parameter design. Under optimal conditions, the calibration curve of oxalate was linear between 3.0-50.0 mg·L-1, with a limit of detection of 1.0 mg·L-1. The repeatability for a 30.0 mg·L-1 oxalate solution was 0.7%. The method was validated by comparing the obtained results to those provided by the spectrophotometric method; no significant differences were observed.  相似文献

Asymmetric nucleophilic monofluoroalkylation of a broad range of aldehydes with an α‐fluoro‐γ‐sulfinylbenzyl carbanion takes place with complete control of the facial selectivity at the carbanion and good to high anti‐diastereoselectivity to give easily separable mixtures of two optically pure 1,2‐fluorohydrin derivatives (up to 24:1 anti/syn). Separation and removal of the p‐tolylsulfinyl group with tBuLi provides enantiomerically pure anti‐1,2‐disubstituted‐1,2‐fluorohydrins, whereas α‐fluorobenzylketones can be obtained by desulfinylation of the mixture followed by pyridinium chlorochromate oxidation (one‐pot process).  相似文献

The drying of fruit juices has advantages such as easy handling of powders, reduction in volume, and preservation of the characteristics of the fruit. Thus, in this work, the effect of the spray drying conditions of strawberry juice (SJ) with maltodextrin (MX) as a carrying agent on the microencapsulation of bioactive compounds and physicochemical properties was studied. The content of phenolic compounds and antioxidant activity showed higher values at low concentrations of MX, while the effect of drying temperature was negligible. The thermal characterization showed that the low molecular weight sugars in the juice decreased the glass transition temperature (Tg). The morphological analysis by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) indicated that at low concentrations of MX, the particles agglomerated, while at intermediate and high concentrations, the particles were observed as well separated. Through microstructural analysis by X-ray diffraction (XRD), the presence of amorphous state was confirmed in all the samples, which is beneficial for preventing chemical and biochemical reactions, and promoting the conservation of the microencapsulated bioactive compounds.  相似文献

 Partial removal of chloride anions from the dimer [Pd(η3-2-CH3*C3H4)(μ-Cl)]2 with AgTf(Tf = CF3SO3) followed by addition of dppm affords [Pd23-Me*C3H4)2(μ-Cl)(μ-dppm)]Tf (1). The substitution of Cl by X (X = pz, SC6F5, S py ) using the appropriate salts yields the new derivatives [Pd23-Me*C3H4)2(μ-X)(μ-dppm)]Tf (24). All complexes exhibit a dinuclear half-A-frame structure with two isomers present in solution. The isomers differ in the relative orientation of the two allyl groups (cis or trans). The isomer interconversion was studied by variable temperature 1H NMR spectroscopy. The molecular structures of 2 and 4 were solved by X-ray diffraction studies. A distorted boat conformation of the seven- or six-membered metallacycle was found in both cases.  相似文献

A new diamine monomer containing benzimidazole‐5‐sulfonic acid has been synthesised. It has been reacted, alone or mixed with diaminodiphenyl ether, with naphthalenic dianhydride to attain polynaphthalimides in which the sulfonic acid functionality is borne by pendant benzimidazole groups. The presence of sulfonic and benzimidazole groups greatly affected the physical properties of the polyimides as the novel polymers were found to be soluble in polar organic solvents and exhibited a lower thermal resistance than their non‐sulfonated counterparts. The polymer films exhibited good mechanical properties with tensile strength in the range 100–120 MPa and with moduli in the range 2.2–3.1 GPa. Sulfonic and benzimidazole groups significantly enhanced the hydrophilicity of the copolyimides, which showed water uptake up to 39%.

Cardiovascular disease is an important cause of death in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Protein-bound uremic toxins, such as p-cresyl and indoxyl sulfate (IS), are poorly removed during hemodialysis, leading to vascular endothelial dysfunction and leukocyte extravasation. These processes can be related to dynamic adhesion structures called podosomes. Several studies have indicated the role of integrin-linked kinase (ILK) in the accumulation of integrin-associated proteins in podosomes. Here, we investigated the involvement of ILK and podosome formation in the adhesion and extravasation of monocytes under p-cresol (pc) and IS exposure. Incubation of THP-1 human monocyte cells with these toxins upregulated ILK kinase activity. Together, both toxins increased cell adhesion, podosome formation, extracellular matrix degradation, and migration of THP-1 cells, whereas ILK depletion with specific small interfering RNAs suppressed these processes. Interestingly, F-actin colocalized with cortactin in podosome cores, while ILK was colocalized in podosome rings under toxin stimulation. Podosome Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein (WASP)-interacting protein (WIP) and AKT protein depletion demonstrated that monocyte adhesion depends on podosome formation and that the ILK/AKT signaling pathway is involved in these processes. Ex vivo experiments showed that both toxins induced adhesion and podosome formation in leukocytes from wild-type mice, whereas these effects were not observed in leukocytes of conditional ILK-knockdown animals. In summary, under pc and IS stimulation, monocytes increase podosome formation and transmigratory capacity through an ILK/AKT signaling pathway-dependent mechanism, which could lead to vascular injury. Summary A method is described for the speciation of Sb(III) and Sb(V) using HG-AAS. The efficiency of stibine generation using different pH, from Sb(III) and Sb(V) solutions, was tested. At high pH-values Sb(V) is not reduced to form stibine, Sb(III) being selectively determined. The three acids HCl, H2SO4 and H3PO4 at controlled pH were used to generate stibine, H3PO4 being the most satisfactory for antimony speciation. The interference of Sb(V) was studied for the case of Sb(III) determination with stibine generation in H3PO4 medium (pH 1.81). The speciation of Sb(III) and Sb(V) is possible up to a ratio of 1:9.  相似文献

The diatomaceous earth (DE) has an important ability to retain metals such as Cd, Cr, Mn and Pb, which can be used for their stabilization in the environment and for analytical purposes. In this paper a fast on-line preconcentration method for the determination of Cr and Pb in waters by flow injection flame atomic absorption spectrometry is described. Preconcentration was based on the retention of Cr and Pb on a DE immobilized in silica gel at pH 3.0 and subsequent elution with 200 microL of 3 mol L(-1) HCl. The preconcentration factors were 100 and 150 for Pb and Cr respectively, for 16 mL water sample volume. The detection limits under these conditions were 3 ng mL(-1) and 1 ng mL(-1) for Pb and Cr, respectively. The stability of Cr and Pb retained on silica gel-DE columns was established. Silica gel-DE microcolumns with the retained analytes were stored for 2 months at two different temperatures: 4 degrees C and room temperature. At regular time intervals, both metals were eluted and quantified. The results showed the potential of the procedure for sampling and storing water samples for subsequent metal determination, avoiding the problems associated with maintaining species integrity in aqueous solution, and the possibility to of decontaminating polluted spaces.  相似文献
