A novel broadband transmission method to determine polymer film thickness during manufacturing is proposed, and a measurement system is developed based on this method. The relationship between broadband optical power and film thickness is deduced according to the Lambert-Beer law. The system is composed of a halogen light and an optical power meter. Results show that the measurement error of this method is approximately 1 μm, and the resolution of the system is below 0.4 μm for polymer films with less than 100-μm thickness. 相似文献

A new rhodamine-based derivative bearing a naphthyridine group (compound 1) was synthesized as a colorimetric and fluorescent “off-on” chemosensor for Cu2+ in aqueous solutions. The sensing behaviors of 1 toward various metal ions in neutral aqueous solutions were investigated by absorption and fluorescence spectroscopies. Compound 1 is found to exhibit a significant increase in absorbance at 561 nm and an amplified fluorescence at 590 nm toward Cu2+ in a selective, sensitive and rapid manner. The quantification of Cu2+ by 1 using an absorption spectroscopy method was satisfactory in the linear working range 0.9–10 μM, with a detection limit of 5.4?×?10?8?M for Cu2+ and good tolerance of other metal ions. Upon addition of Cu2+, the spirolactam ring (colorless and nonfluorescent) of 1 was opened to ring-opened amide (red color and fluorescent) and a 1:1 stoichiochemetry for the 1-Cu2+ complex was formed with an association constant of 1.57?×?104?M?1. 相似文献

Occurrence of resonant transport due to Fabry-Perot like effect through cascade double asymmetric rings is proposed. We find that high performance reflectors with wide bands can be generated by two asymmetrical open rings with an arm ratio of 1/3. At the resonances, giant persistent currents exist in both rings of the system. The resonance energy is variant and dependent on the length of the connected wire. However, the confined space of the system at the resonance is not equal to the integral multiple of a half-wavelength of traditional Fabry-Perot etalons. 相似文献

Existence of the perfect transmission resonances of spin waves in a one-dimensional Thue–Morse magnonic quasicrystal is proposed. We find that occurrence of the perfect transmission just corresponds to the repeated bandedges in the bandedge map. Frequencies at the perfect transmissions for system with arbitrary generation order can be predicted by the bandedge map of the second and third order systems using two iterative schemes. These results show that density of the perfect transmission resonance increases exponentially for increasing the order of the system. Many models have been developed to study homeland security games between governments (defender) and terrorists (attacker, adversary, enemy), with the limiting assumption of the terrorists being rational or strategic. In this paper, we develop a novel hybrid model in which a centralized government allocates defensive resources among multiple potential targets to minimize total expected loss, in the face of a terrorist being either strategic or non-strategic. The attack probabilities of a strategic terrorist are endogenously determined in the model, while the attack probabilities of a non-strategic terrorist are exogenously provided. We study the robustness of defensive resource allocations by comparing the government’s total expected losses when: (a) the government knows the probability that the terrorist is strategic; (b) the government falsely believes that the terrorist is fully strategic, when the terrorist could be non-strategic; and (c) the government falsely believes that the terrorist is fully non-strategic, when the terrorist could be strategic. Besides providing six theorems to highlight the general results, we find that game models are generally preferred to non-game model even when the probability of a non-strategic terrorist is significantly greater than 50%. We conclude that defensive resource allocations based on game-theoretic models would not incur too much additional expected loss and thus more preferred, as compared to non-game-theoretic models. 相似文献

Ultrasonically initiated emulsion polymerization of styrene was carried out in the presence of aliphatic alcohols, e.g. methanol, ethanol, n-pronanol and n-butanol, as volatile hydroxyl radical scavengers. With the addition of methanol, the polymerization rate of styrene increased, while the molecular weight and the average particle size of the produced polystyrene decreased because more radicals were produced in the presence of methanol. This is true also for the other polymerization system using other aliphatic alcohols, such as ethanol, n-pronanol and n-butanol, suggesting that the alcohols enter into cavitation bubbles and further react with hydroxyl radicals (*OH) from the sonolysis of water to produce hydroxyalkyl radicals, so as to reduce the recombination of *H and *OH radicals, therefore more radicals will be present in the systems for initiating polymerization. Obviously, it is an effective way to enhance ultrasonically initiated emulsion polymerization rate of styrene by adding volatile hydroxyl radical scavenger. 相似文献

This paper describes a method about the crystal shape control improving the anti‐tumor activity of tumor necrosis factor‐related apoptosis‐inducing ligand (Apo2L/TRAIL) in a batch cooling suspension crystallization by selecting pH values as a controllable variable. Three shaped TRAIL crystals could be obtained under different pH conditions, among which the hexagonal plate crystals had the highest specific activities against tumor cell line. The relationship among pH values, trimer contents and the specific activities of crystals and the purified TRAIL solutions were investigated. The results showed that different trimer contents resulted from pH altering in crystals and protein solutions is a main reason for their different specific activities. A direct synthesis of 3-(bromomethylene)isobenzofuran-1(3H)-ones from 2-alkynylbenzoic acids is developed through a regioselective 5-exo-dig bromocyclization. The reaction proceeds smoothly with a broad substrate scope. The products can be further elaborated via a palladium-catalyze cross-coupling reaction, or can convert to other heterocycles through simple operation. This review is focused on the recent advances in the functionalization of allenes via radical process. Different radical partners including carbon radicals and heteroatom radicals are discussed in the reactions of allenes. Generally, the radical formed in situ would attack the allene at the central carbon leading to allyl radical intermediate.
