A study of the temperature dependences of the ordinary and anomalous Hall coefficients and of the Hall mobility of carriers in single crystals of the ferromagnetic manganites La1?xSrxMnO3 (x=0.15, 0.20, 0.25) was carried out in the temperature interval from 85 to 400 K. We use tools of the equilibrium statistical mechanics of disordered systems to study analytically the statistical properties of an ecosystem composed of N species interacting via random mutual interactions, as well as via deterministic self-interactions of order p>/=2. We show that the main effect of increasing the order of the interactions among the species is to make the system less competitive, in the sense that the fraction of extinct species is greatly reduced. In addition, we find that for p>2 there is a threshold value which gives a lower bound to the concentration of the surviving species, preventing then the existence of rare species and, consequently, increasing the robustness of the ecosystem to external perturbations. 相似文献

We measured the temperature dependence of thermal conductivity of a polycrystalline CVD diamond with natural isotope composition and an isotope enriched (99.96% 12C) sample at temperatures from 5 to 420 K. The isotope enriched diamond demonstrates a considerable growth of thermal conductivity at temperatures above 80 K compared to the diamond with natural composition of isotopes. At room temperature the thermal conductivity reaches 24.3 W·cm?1K?1, and the isotope effect makes up not less than 34%. 相似文献

Emission of terahertz radiation from strained Be-doped GaAsN layers has been revealed at 4.2 K in postbreakdown electric fields. Heavy and light hole subbands are split in strained layers, and, along with localized acceptor states, resonant states arise. The spectrum of terahertz radiation has been obtained, the current-voltage characteristics of the samples were investigated, and the energy spectra of acceptors were calculated. Peaks in the spontaneous emission spectrum correlate well with the results of the energy spectrum calculations. The transitions between the resonant and localized states of the acceptors make the main contribution to the terahertz radiation intensity. 相似文献

Two new approaches are used for calculating the stress–strain state of a rope and its stiffnesses. The first approach relies on the theory of fibrous composites and Saint-Venant's solution for a cylinder with helical anisotropy. The second approach is based on the solution by the finite element method of the three-dimensional problem of elasticity theory for a solid inhomogeneous cylinder formed by a finite number of elastic fibres arranged in helical lines and connected by a weak filler (in the sense that its Young's modulus is several orders of magnitude less than the Young's modulus of the fibre). The behaviour of the stiffness when the modulus of elasticity of the filler tends to zero is analysed, and the results of the limiting transition are discussed. of the thermodynamic functions on the number of molecules and the temperature for molecular aggregates in discrete micropores
over a wide region of fillings that lead to the Dubinin—Radushkevich equation. The energy nonuniformity of the adsorption
space is the fundamental property of carbon adsorbents. In the region of small fillings, the statistical approach leads to
Henry's law and the finite value of the initial differential energy of adsorption. The value of sorption corresponding to
the saturated vapor pressure decreases with increasing temperature, but the decrease is considerably less than for the density
of the corresponding liquid.

We have studied the dependence of hot electron scattering rate on temperature in n-GaAs/AlAs types I and II multiple quantum wells. For a sample with well width 37 Å, which is on the borderline between types I and II band alignment, the increase of the temperature in the range 6–80 K leads to the strong decrease of the hot electron scattering rate. We explain this result by ionization of donors and transfer of cold electrons from the Γ-valley of GaAs to the X-valley of AlAs. 相似文献

An experimental study is reported of the temperature dependences of the electrical resistivity and magnetoresistance, thermal and magnetothermal EMF, the Hall effect, optical reflectance, sound velocity, and internal friction of polycrystalline lanthanum manganite La0.60Eu0.07Sr0.33MnO3 carried out within the 77–430-K temperature range. Substitution of a small amount of europium for lanthanum has been found to result in a considerable decrease in the resistivity and a change in the behavior of its temperature dependence. Four characteristic temperatures at which special features are observed in the above properties have been identified. The discussion of the conduction mechanisms involved is based on the concept of mobility edge motion. 相似文献

The evolution of the magnetic properties of Fe/Cr superlattices with a decrease in the nominal thickness of the iron layers down to atomic dimensions at which these layers are not continuous has been analyzed. Investigations have been carried out with multilayer samples with Fe-layer thicknesses in a range of 2–6 Å and Cr-layer thicknesses of 10 and 20 Å. It has been found that the system with various Fe-layer thicknesses and at various temperatures exhibits various magnetic phases—superparamagnetic, magnetically ordered, and nonergodic—characterized by the dependence of the magnetization of the sample on its magnetic prehistory. It has been shown that the observed nonergodic phase has the properties of a spin glass. A qualitative phase diagram of the magnetic states of the system has been obtained. 相似文献

The equations of one-dimensional and plane steady adiabatic motion of an ideal gas are transformed to a new form in which the role of the independent variables are played by the stream function and the function introduced by Martin [1, 2], It is shown that the function retains a constant value on a strong shock wave (and on a strong shock for plane flows). For one-dimensional isentropic motions the resulting transformation permits new exact solutions to be obtained from the exact solutions of the equations of motion. It is shown also that the one-dimensional motions of an ideal gas with the equation of state p=f(t) and the one-dimensional adiabatic motions of a gas for which p=f() are equivalent (t is time, is the stream function). It is shown that if k=s=–1, m and n are arbitrary (m+n0) and =1, the general solution of the system of equations which is fundamental in the theory of one-dimensional adiabatic self-similar motions [3] is found in parametric form with the aid of quadratures.
