A series of an ionic hydrogels composed of N,N‐diethylaminoethyl methacrylamide (DEAEMA), N‐vinyl‐2‐pyrrolidone (VP), and itaconic acid were synthesized by free‐radical cross‐linking copolymerization in water–ethanol mixture by using N,N‐methylenebis(acrylamide) as the cross‐linker, ammonium persulfate as the initiator, and N,N,N′,N′‐tetramethylenediamine as the activator. The swelling behaviors of these hydrogels were analyzed in buffer solutions at various pH. It was observed that the swelling behavior of cross‐linked ionic poly(N,N‐diethylaminoethyl methacrylamide‐co‐N‐vinyl‐2‐pyrrolidone) [P(DEAEMA/VP)] hydrogels at different pH agreed with the modified Flory–Rehner equation based on the affine network model and the ideal Donnan theory. The swelling process in buffer solutions at various pH was found to be Fickian‐type diffusion. The pH‐reversibility and on–off switching properties of the P(DEAEMA/VP) hydrogels may be considered as good candidate to design novel drug‐delivery system. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Blend films of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and sodium alginate (NaAlg) were prepared by casting from aqueous solutions. This blend films were characterized by tensile strength test, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The miscibility in the blends of PVA and NaAlg was established on the basis of the thermal analysis results. DSC showed that the blends possessed single, composition‐dependent glass transition temperatures (Tgs), indicating that the blends are miscible. FT‐IR studies indicate that there is the intermolecular hydrogen bonding interactions, i.e. –OH…?OOC– in PVA/NaAlg blends. The blend films also exhibited the higher thermal stability and their mechanical properties improved compared to those of homopolymers. 相似文献

The title compound, C30H64N12O6P4, consists of a centrosymmetric chair-shaped cyclic tetrameric phosphazene ring with six bulky morpholino and two n-propylamino side groups. The two n-propylamino side groups are in trans positions. The bulky substituents mainly determine the eight-membered-ring conformation. In the present work, a series of aminocyclotriphosphazene containing sulfur group compounds have been synthesised and characterised by elemental analysis, mass (MS), 1H and 31P NMR spectroscopies. The formation of thiophenoxy-substituted aminocyclotriphosphazenes could be explained by different mechanisms based on primary or secondary amino-substituted cyclotriphosphazenes. Compounds 3, 5 and 7 could be formed by a proton abstraction-chloride elimination and 9, 11 and 13 may be constituted both the SN2 and SN1 reaction mechanisms, respectively. These mechanisms are supported by the crystal structures of 5 and 13. Molecular and crystal structures of 5 and 13 have been characterised by X-ray crystallography. Four different types of cross-linked polyimides based on 4,4-diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) were prepared by the reaction of different types of conventional poly(amic acid) intermediates with MDI as a cross-linking agent. Subsequently, they were thermally imidized in order to obtain corresponding cross-linked polyimide structure. The results of FTIR-ATR showed that MDI can effectively react with carboxylic acid groups of PAA to form cross-linked polyimide films. TGA, FTIR-ATR and SEM analyses were carried out for characterization of cross-linked polyimide (CPI) films. Moreover, the electrical properties such as dielectric breakdown strength, dielectric constant, I-V characteristics and loss factor of MDI based cross-linked polyimides have been checked. In addition, some physical properties such as water uptake, adhesion, hardness and solubility properties of the films were investigated.The results showed that all CPI films have good insulating properties such as high dielectric breakdown voltage, low loss factor (tan δ), leakage density and excellent physical properties. 相似文献

Temperature sensitive poly{N‐[3‐(dimethylaminopropyl)]methacrylamide‐co‐acrylamide} [P(DMAPMA‐co‐AAm)] hydrogels were prepared by the free‐radical crosslinking copolymerization of corresponding monomers in water with N,N‐methylenebisacrylamide as the crosslinker, ammonium persulfate as the initiator, and N,N,N′,N′‐tetramethylethylenediamine as the activator. The swelling equilibrium of the P(DMAPMA‐co‐AAm) hydrogels was investigated as a function of temperature in aqueous solutions of the anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate and the cationic surfactant dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide. In pure water, regardless of the amount of N,N‐methylenebisacrylamide, the P(DMAPMA‐co‐AAm) hydrogels showed a discontinuous phase transition between 30 and 36 °C. However, the transition temperature changed from discontinuous to continuous with the addition of surfactants; this was ascribed to the conversion of nonionic P(DMAPMA‐co‐AAm) hydrogels into polyelectrolyte hydrogels due to the binding of surfactants through hydrophobic interactions. Additionally, the concentrations of free sodium dodecyl sulfate and dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide ions were measured at different temperatures by conductometry, and it was found that the electric conductivity of the P(DMAPMA‐co‐AAm)–surfactant systems depended strongly on the swelling ratio; most notably, it changed drastically near the phase‐transition temperature of the P(DMAPMA‐co‐AAm) hydrogel. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Poly(N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone) (PVP) and chitosan (CTS) with three different molecular weights (MW: 150,000, 400,000 and 600,000 g/mol) blends were prepared as films having 13, 20, 33, 43 and 50% (w/w) CTS by solution casting method. Surface properties of the films were analyzed by contact-angle measurements and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The contact angles of water, glycerol, ethylene glycol, formamide and paraffin oil drop were measured on these films. The contact-angle results were evaluated in terms of surface free energy components by using Van Oss-Good methodology. It was found that all PVP/CTS blend surfaces are enriched in low surface free energy component, i.e. CTS. This conclusion was further confirmed by the cross-sectional SEM images observation of these blends. 相似文献
