The oxidative coupling of benzoic acids with internal alkynes effectively proceeds in the presence of [Cp*RhCl2]2 and Cu(OAc)2 x H2O as catalyst and oxidant, respectively, to produce the corresponding isocoumarin derivatives. The copper salt can be reduced to a catalytic quantity under air. Interestingly, by using [Cp*IrCl2]2 in place of [Cp*RhCl2]2, the substrates undergo 1:2 coupling accompanied by decarboxylation to afford naphthalene derivatives exclusively. In this case, Ag2CO3 acts as an effective oxidant.  相似文献

Inonotus obliquus (persoon) Pilat (Chaga, in Russia, kabanoanatake in Japan) is a fungus having been used as a folk medicine in Russia and said to have many health beneficial functions such as immune modulating and anti-cancer activities. In the present study, the antioxidant activity of hot water extract (decoction) of Chaga was precisely compared with those of other medicinal fungi (Agaricus blazei Mycelia, Ganoderma lucidum and Phellinus linteus) showing Chaga had the strongest antioxidant activity among fungi examined in terms of both superoxide and hydroxyl radicals scavenging activities. Further determination of the antioxidant potential of isolated fruiting body (brown part) and Sclerotium (black part) revealed the 80% MeOH extract of fruiting body had the highest potential as high as that of Chaga decoction. Finally, seven antioxidant components were isolated and purified from the 80% MeOH extract of Chaga fruiting body, and their chemical structures were determined as small phenolics as follows: 4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxy benzoic acid 2-hydroxy-1-hydroxymethyl ethyl ester (BAEE), protocatechic acid (PCA), caffeic acid (CA), 3,4-dihybenzaladehyde (DB), 2,5-dihydroxyterephtalic acid (DTA), syringic acid (SA) and 3,4-dihydroxybenzalacetone (DBL). Notably, BAEE was assigned as the new compound firstly identified from the natural source in the present study.  相似文献

This study focuses on the geometric (molecular) structures, spectroscopic properties, and electronic structures of copper(II)-nitrito complexes as a function of second coordination sphere effects using a set of closely related coligands. With anionic hydrotris(pyrazolyl)borate ligands, one nitrite is bound to copper(II). Depending on the steric demand of the coligand, the coordination mode is either symmetric or asymmetric bidentate, which leads to different ground states of the resulting complexes as evident from EPR spectroscopy. The vibrational spectra of these compounds are assigned using isotope substitution and DFT calculations. The results demonstrate that nu sym(N-O) occurs at higher energy than nu asym(N-O), which is different from the literature assignments for related compounds. UV-vis absorption and MCD spectra are presented and analyzed with the help of TD-DFT calculations. The principal binding modes of nitrite to Cu(II) and Cu(I) are also investigated applying DFT. Using a neutral tris(pyrazolyl)methane ligand, two nitrite ligands are bound to copper. In this case, a very unusual binding mode is observed where one nitrite is eta1-O and the other one is eta1-N bound. This allows to study the properties of coordinated nitrite as a function of binding mode in one complex. The N-coordination mode is easily identified from vibrational spectroscopy, where N-bound nitrite shows a large shift of nu asym(N-O) to >1400 cm-1, which is a unique spectroscopic feature. The optical spectra of this compound exhibit an intense band around 300 nm, which might be attributable to a nitrite to Cu(II) CT transition. Finally, using a bidentate neutral bis(pyrazolyl)methane ligand, two eta1-O coordinated nitrite ligands are observed. The vibrational and optical (UV-vis and MCD) spectra of this compound are presented and analyzed.  相似文献

We found a novel oscillating phenomenon associated with surface wetting during the vacuum deposition of an organic semiconductor (rubrene) on a liquid film (bis(2-ethylhexyl)sebacate, B2EHS). In-situ observations by an optical microscope revealed that the oscillation was associated with the growth of the rubrene crystals. The oscillation frequency was proportional to the evaporation rate of rubrene. On the basis of the contact angle measurements, it was concluded that the oscillation is probably due to the change in the contact angle of the liquid caused by the formation of ultrathin rubrene films on the liquid surface.  相似文献

Pressure dependence of Raman spectra of benzene/CO2 two-component systems was systematically studied at different temperatures and compositions. We estimated the magnitude of inhomogeneous component in Raman bandwidth to get information on the structural fluctuation in the system. It was found that the inhomogeneous bandwidth attains a maximum on an isothermal plane in the temperature-pressure-composition three-dimensional phase diagram when the state point crosses the line connecting the region where the density fluctuation is large (the vicinity of the critical point of neat CO2) and the region where the concentration fluctuation in a binary system is enhanced (the vicinity of the critical solution point). By accumulating such data, we found that the points of large structural fluctuation comprise a sheet that includes the extension line of the gas-liquid equilibrium line in the phase diagram of neat CO2 and the line connecting critical solution points of the two-component system at different temperatures. Interaction between benzene and CO2 molecules in the supercritical region is briefly discussed.  相似文献

The antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus of long-chain fatty alcohols was investigated, with a focus on normal alcohols. The antibacterial activity varied with the length of the aliphatic carbon chain and not with the water/octanol partition coefficient. 1-Nonanol, 1-decanol and 1-undecanol had bactericidal activity and membrane-damaging activity. 1-Dodecanol and 1-tridecanol had the highest antibacterial activity among the long-chain fatty alcohols tested, but had no membrane-damaging activity. Consequently, it appears that not only the antibacterial activity but also the mode of action of long-chain fatty alcohols might be determined by the length of the aliphatic carbon chain.  相似文献

Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) not only functions as an energy-carrier substance and an informative molecule, but also acts as a marker substance in studies of both bio-traces and cellular/tissular viability. Due to the importance of the ATP function for living organisms, in situ assays of ATP are in demand in various fields, e.g., hygiene. In the present study, we developed an ATP sensor that combines the selective catalytic activity of enzyme and the properties of an ion selective field effect transistor (ISFET). In this system, the ATP hydrolyrase, "apyrase (EC 3.6.1.5.)" is encased in a gel and mounted on a Ta(2)O(5) ISFET gate surface. When the enzyme layer selectively catalyzes the dephosphorylation of ATP, protons are accumulated at the gate because the enzymatic reaction produces H(+) as a byproduct. Based on the interfacial enzymatic reaction, the response from the ISFET is completely dependent upon the ATP concentration in the bulk solution. This device is readily applicable to practical in situ ATP measurement, e.g. hygienic usage.  相似文献
