We obtain a large deviation principle describing the small time asymptotics of the solution of a stochastic evolution equation with multiplicative noise. Our assumptions are a condition on the linear drift operator that is satisfied by generators of analytic semigroups and Lipschitz continuity of the nonlinear coefficient functions. Methods originally used by Peszat (Probab. Theory Relat. Fields 98:113?C136, 1994) for the small noise asymptotics problem are adapted to solve the small time asymptotics problem. The results obtained in this way improve on some results of Zhang (Ann. Probab. 28(2):537?C557, 2000).  相似文献

The surface modification of deep-cavity cavitands has been demonstrated by using the azide-alkyne "click" coupling to attach dendritic macromolecules or linear polymers onto their periphery. ABSTRACT: Fibroblasts derived from the progeroid Werner syndrome show reduced replicative lifespan and a "stressed" morphology, both alleviated using the MAP kinase inhibitor SB203580. However, interpretation of these data is problematical because although SB203580 has the stress-activated kinases p38 and JNK1/2 as its preferred targets, it does show relatively low overall kinase selectivity. Several lines of data support a role for both p38 and JNK1/2 activation in the control of cellular proliferation and also the pathology of diseases of ageing, including type II diabetes, diseases to which Werner Syndrome individuals are prone, thus making the use of JNK inhibitors attractive as possible therapeutics. We have thus tested the effects of the widely used JNK inhibitor SP600125 on the proliferation and morphology of WS cells. In addition we synthesised and tested two recently described aminopyridine based inhibitors. SP600125 treatment resulted in the cessation of proliferation of WS cells and resulted in a senescent-like cellular phenotype that does not appear to be related to the inhibition of JNK1/2. In contrast, use of the more selective aminopyridine CMPD 6o at concentrations that fully inhibit JNK1/2 had a positive effect on cellular proliferation of immortalised WS cells, but no effect on the replicative lifespan of primary WS fibroblasts. In addition, CMPD 6o corrected the stressed WS cellular morphology. The aminopyridine CMPD 6r, however, had little effect on WS cells. CMDP 6o was also found to be a weak inhibitor of MK2, which may partially explain its effects on WS cells, since MK2 is known to be involved in regulating cellular morphology via HSP27 phosphorylation, and is thought to play a role in cell cycle arrest. These data suggest that total JNK1/2 activity does not play a substantial role in the proliferation control in WS cells.  相似文献

The first spectroscopic observation of bound N2-Ar van der Waals molecules has been achieved with a cryogenic long path cell maintained at 87 K. The infra-red spectrum exhibits prominent fine structure near the N2 stretching frequency which is assigned to hindered internal rotation of N2 within the weakly bound complex. An analysis of this fine structure yields a T-shaped equilibrium geometry in which the N2 bond axis is perpendicular to the N2-Ar van der Waals bond axis. The observed spectrum is shown to be consistent with an internal rotational barrier of 20 cm-1 (57 cal/mole). Approximately 20 per cent of the bound species are trapped by this rotational barrier and acquire a locked semi-rigid structure. The remaining 80 per cent have ill-defined geometry and undergo hindered internal rotation. The rotational envelope of an infra-red fundamental is analysed to give an estimate of the N2-Ar bond length as 3·9 Å.  相似文献

The copper(II) complex [Cu(NO3)(PyTz)2](NO3) has been previously characterized means X‐ray powder diffraction and now studied by IR spectroscopy, UV‐Vis‐NIR diffuse reflectance, magnetic susceptibility measurement, electronic spin resonance (ESR) and thermal analysis. The results are correlated with a distorted square pyramidal coordination around copper(II) ion rather than the cis‐distorted octahedral stereochemistry of a CuN4OO′ chromophore in good concordance with their structure. Likewise, in order to indicate towards what square pyramidal isomer the complex is distorted, the method proposed by Carugo and Bisi has been applied to the structural data of [Cu(NO3)(PyTz)2](NO3). It is deduced that there is a large distortion from the trigonal bipyramid geometry, close to a square pyramid geometry, being produced almost exclusively through the B route of the Berry mechanism.  相似文献

Risk simulation has become a standard alternative to the utilization of single estimates for input data to investment appraisal models. Under the risk simulation approach managers define probability distributions for relevant input factors. During this process management may consciously or subconsciously assume certain relationships between the input variables. These interdependencies are often omitted from the models, however, under the justification that they are accounted for implicitly in the values attributed to the variables by management. It is demonstrated in this paper that such omissions may lead to significant errors in the observed distributions of the selected appraisal criteria. Various forms of discriminate sampling are introduced and an example is cited for which certain discriminate schemes are shown to be more accurate than traditional independent sampling.  相似文献
