Xerogels were prepared from zirconium, barium, aluminum, lanthanum and lithium acetates, corresponding to a Li containing ZBLA composition. The study of their thermal properties (DSC, TG/DTG, FT-IR) showed that they might be used as chemically stable precursors in the preparation of fluoride glasses. Hydrofluoric acid in solution was chosen as a mild fluorinating agent. This newly proposed technique of fluorinating allowed to obtain high quality ZBLALi glass which presents the advantage of higher thermal stability and homogeneity in comparison with the glass obtained using individual commercial fluorides.This revised version was published online in November 2005 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

DISMOL simulator was used to determine the best possible operating conditions to guide, in future studies, experimental works. This simulator needs several physical-chemical properties and often it is very difficult to determine them because of the complexity of the involved components. Their determinations must be made through correlations and/or predictions, in order to characterize the system and calculate it. The first try is to have simulation results of a system that later can be validated with experimental data. To implement, in the simulator, the necessary parameters of complex systems is a difficult task. In this work, we aimed to determe these properties in order to evaluate the tocopherol (vitamin E) recovery using a DISMOL simulator. The raw material used was the crude deodorizer distillate of soya oil. With this procedure, it is possible to determine the best operating conditions for experimental works and to evaluated the process in the separation of new systems, analyzing the profiles obtained from these simulations for the falling film molecular distillator.  相似文献

The effects exhibited by adsorbed conducting polyaniline on the redox process on a molybdenum oxide surface were studied. Thermogravimetric results indicate a 4% polyaniline deposition. Cyclic voltammograms of the adsorbed polymer on MoO3 show that polyaniline exerts remarkable effects on the molybdenum blue oxidation-reduction process, with oxidation and reduction potentials of 0.33 and 0.18 V, respectively. This effect strongly enhances the electrode response, and can be used as an important tool in qualitative and/or quantitative determinations of molybdenum in solution as well as in any substrate. The equilibrium constants and molar absorptivities for the fast formation of a 1:3 complex between cadmium(II) (Cd(II)) and dithizonate anion, in the presence of cationic and non-ionic surfactants, allowed a simple and fast spectrophotometric determination of total cadmium. Indeed, the molar absorptivities of the Cd(II)-dithizone (Dz) complex formed in the presence of the neutral Triton X-100 and cationic cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) surfactants are almost twice the value observed in the standard method and the maxima of absorption are shifted by about 40 nm when compared with the standard method. Clearly, the use of neutral and cationic surfactants promotes a higher value of the molar absorptivities of the complex, resulting in an increase in the sensitivity of the method. Application of the method to the desorption of Cd(II) ions from clays is illustrated.  相似文献

Summary Copper(II) and nickel(II) complexes with the Schiff base derived from 2-(2-aminophenyl)benzimidazole and salicylaldehyde, L, have been prepared. They are of the general types ML2X2 (M = Ni or Cu and X = Cl, Br, NO3 or ClO4) and NiL(NCS)2.The compounds have been characterized by elemental analyses, magnetic measurements, e.s.r., electronic and i.r. spectra studies. The i.r. spectra suggest that the molecule, and not the anion, of the Schiff base is coordinated as a bidentate ligand with the metal ion. Possible structures for the complexes have been proposed.  相似文献

Molecular distillation was studied for the separation of tocopherols from soya sludge, both experimentally and by simulation, under different operating conditions, with good agreement. Evaporator temperatures varied from 100°C to 160°C and feed flow rates ranged from 0.1 to 0.8 kg/h. The process pressure was maintained at 10−6 bar, the feed temperature at 50°C, the condenser temperature at 60°C, and the stirring at 350 rpm. For each process condition, samples of both streams (distillate and residue) were collected and stored at −18°C before tocopherols analyses. Owing to the differences between molecular weights and vapor pressures of free fatty acids and tocopherols, tocopherols preferentially remained in the residue at evaporator temperatures of 100°C and 120°C, whereas for higher temperatures (140°C and 160°C) and lower feed flow rate, tocopherols tended to migrate to the distillate stream.  相似文献

The search for new anti-inflammatory drugs has been constant in several research centers. The use of the Bioisostery concept allows the elaboration of new bioactive compounds with different properties through the introduction of substitute groups in one or more positions of a main molecule with known biological activity. Preliminary works accomplished at our laboratory with 2,4-thiazolidinedione isosters demonstrated inhibitory activity on edema formation for N-tryptophyl-5-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzylidene)-2,4-thiazolidinedione (GS28) and N-tryptophyl-5-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzylidene) rhodanine (GS26). We verified the antiedematogenic and ulcerogenic activity of these two compounds in Wistar rats. The carrageenan induced paw edema suffered significant (p<0.05) inhibition (28.36% on average) for GS28 (100 mg/kg; v.o.) during the entire time of the experiment. GS26 (50 and 100 mg/kg; v.o.) significantly inhibited (p<0.05) the paw edema dextran induced (22.1 and 27.8%, for the respective doses) after 180 min. The compounds GS26 and GS28 did not show ulcerogenic activity on gastric mucous. The results suggest antiedematogenic action for both compounds without the appearance of gastric lesions.  相似文献

A series of compounds with composition of Ca1–xCuxHPO4, where x varied from 0.05 to 0.5 were synthesized by precipitation method. The compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and thermogravimetry. The chemical stabilities of solids were investigated at several pH. Elemental analysis of copper, calcium and phosphorus are in agreement with the proposed composition. The formation of lamellar phosphates was evidenced. The stability of the set of compounds was better for samples with high copper content.  相似文献

Peroxidation of the phenazine of beta-lapachone using m-ClC6H4CO3H-CH2Cl2 furnished a macrolactone with a rigid 10-membered ring, and the corresponding N-oxide, along with a dihydrobenzophenazine-5-one. All of the new compounds were fully characterized by spectroscopic methods, with the unambiguous assignment of the hydrogens and carbon NMR signals for the N-oxide, with the aid of 2-D NMR, mainly COSY, HMQC, HSQC and HMBC. For the other two compounds some signals could not be assigned owing to their own intrinsic features.  相似文献

Purification and reversible immobilization of d-amino acid oxidase from Trigonopsis variabilis could be simultaneously accomplished by hydrophobic interaction on Phenyl Sepharose CL-4B in the presence of 50 mM pyrophosphate buffer (pH 8.5). The presence of a high salt concentration of 2M, which is generally required for the hydrophobic interactions, was not essential for the hydrophobic immobilization. The enzyme in free as well as immobilized form was optimally active between pH 7.0 and 9.0. The immobilized preparation could be reused in a batch process for the conversion of d-amino acids to α-keto acids. When the activity of the preparation dropped below practical limits, the gel could be regenerated by water wash and recharged with fresh crude extract from yeast.  相似文献
