≈20 meV and evaluation of the behavior of the mobility and concentration of light and heavy charge carriers, as well as the
temperature dependence of the carrier relaxation time, in samarium hexaboride. The results of experimental investigations
in the “impurity” conduction region (E
ex≈3.5 meV) are discussed within the Kikoin-Mishchenko exciton-polaron model of charge fluctuations. Arguments supporting the
formation of a metallic state with an electron-hole liquid in SmB6 at liquid-helium temperatures are presented.

High precision magnetoresistance (MR) Δρ/ρ(H,T) and magnetization M(H,T) measurements have been carried out for well known and typical strongly correlated electron system—cerium hexaboride. The detailed measurements have been fulfilled on single crystalline samples of CeB6 over a wide temperature range in magnetic fields up to 70 kOe. It was shown that the MR anomalies in the magnetic heavy fermion compound under investigation can be consistently interpreted in the frameworks of a simple relation between resistivity and magnetization—Δρ/ρ∼M2 obtained by Yosida [Phys. Rev. 107(1957)396]. A local magnetic susceptibility χloc(T,H)=(1/H*(d(Δρ/ρ)/dH))1/2 was deduced directly from the MR Δρ(H,T) measurements and compared with the experimental data of magnetization M(H,T). The magnetic susceptibility dependences χloc(T,H) and χ(T,H) obtained in this study for CeB6 allow us to analyze the complicated H-T magnetic phase diagram of this so-called dense Kondo-system. 相似文献

The results of experiments on measuring the energy spectra of alpha particles in reactions with heavy ions are presented. The measurements were performed using the high-resolution magnetic analyzer MAVR with beams of 48Ca (280 MeV) and 56Fe (320 and 400 MeV) on 181Ta and 238U targets at an angle of 0°. A strong dependence of the double differential cross sections for production of alpha particles on the atomic number of the target nucleus was observed, which indicates that fast alpha particles are mainly emitted from the target nucleus; this conclusion was also confirmed by calculations within the time-dependent Schr?dinger equation approach. An analysis of the obtained experimental data was carried out within the model of moving sources modified to consider the kinematic limits for two-body and three-body exit channels. 相似文献

This paper reports on measurements of the de Haas-van Alfven effect in the quasi-two-dimensional organic conductor (BEDT-TTF)8Hg4Cl12(C6H5Cl)2 performed within the temperature range 0.33–1.44 K in magnetic fields of B≤50 T. An analysis of quantum oscillations together with cyclotron resonance data obtained in the 40–120-GHz frequency range revealed that the complex quantum-oscillation spectrum is formed by the fundamental frequencies α~256 T and β~670–610 T, as well as by combination and multiple frequencies. It is shown that the character of the temperature-induced oscillation-spectrum rearrangement can be interpreted within a model taking into account the existence of a magnetic phase transition at T c~0.9 K and the closeness of the fundamental frequency α with effective mass m*=1.48m 0 to the spin damping condition. 相似文献
