In this paper we develop a numerical method for two-dimensionaltime-dependent reaction-diffusion problems. A multi-determination method has been developed for the determination and confirmation of 68 organic pollutants in water samples by gas chromatography coupled to triple quadrupole mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS). The following chemical families were determined in a chromatographic run of less than 26?min: polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), polybrominated diphenylethers (PBDEs), and pesticides (organochlorine, organophosphorus, triazine and others). The sample preparation involved a liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) procedure, obtaining recoveries ranging from 70 to 130% when dichloromethane was used as the extracting solvent. The detection limits of the proposed method were between 0.75 and 19.8?ng?L?1. Samples from the Maipo River in central Chile were taken from 29 different points. Seven pesticides and two PAHs were detected in field collected samples with concentrations ranging from 10 to 95?ngL?1. Concentrations of benzo[a]pyrene in environmental samples ranged from 25 to 33?ngL?1 and were near the maximum levels established by the European Union Directives (50?ng?L?1).  相似文献

Background  

Stromal cell-derived factor 1 (SDF-1 or CXCL12) is chemotaxic for CXCR4 expressing bone marrow-derived cells. It functions in brain embryonic development and in response to ischemic injury in helping guide neuroblast migration and vasculogenesis. In experimental adult stroke models SDF-1 is expressed perivascularly in the injured region up to 30 days after the injury, suggesting it could be a therapeutic target for tissue repair strategies. We hypothesized that SDF-1 would be expressed in similar temporal and spatial patterns following hypoxic-ischemic (HI) injury in neonatal brain.  相似文献

We propose a method of generating unitarily single and two-mode field squeezing in an optical cavity with an atomic cloud. Through a suitable laser system, we are able to engineer a squeeze field operator decoupled from the atomic degrees of freedom, yielding a large squeeze parameter that is scaled up by the number of atoms, and realizing degenerate and nondegenerate parametric amplification. By means of the input-output theory we show that ideal squeezed states and perfect squeezing could be approached at the output. The scheme is robust to decoherence processes.  相似文献

A technique to investigate photodissociation kinetics on a nanosecond time scale has been devised for molecular ions generated by multiphoton ionization (MPI) using mass-analyzed ion kinetic energy spectrometry. The branching ratio or rate constant has been determined for the photodissociation of the n-butylbenzene, bromobenzene, iodobenzene, and aniline molecular ions generated by MPI at 266 nm. The ion internal energies have been estimated by comparing the measured kinetic data with the previous energy dependence data. The analysis has shown that only those molecular ions generated by two-photon ionization contribute to the photodissociation signals. Around half of the available energy has been found to remain as molecular ion internal energy in the two-photon ionization process. Copyright 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献
