Functional poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) hydrogels were prepared by reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization of NIPAM in the presence of four-arm poly(ethylene glycol) (4A-PEG) as backbone and 4-cyanopentanoic acid dithiobenzoate functional α -cyclodextrin threaded onto the PEG as chain transfer reagent (CTA).The structure of the hydrogels was characterized in detail with FTIR techniques. The analytical results demonstrated that α -cyclodextrin remains in as-obtained hydrogels. The swelling behavior was investigated and the functional hydrogels (functional gels) showed accelerated shrinking kinetics and higher swelling ratio comparing with conventional hydrogel (CG). It could be attributed to the presence of dangling chains. The hydrogel exhibited rapid swelling and deswelling kinetics. In principle, the hydrogel might find a number of applications including an on-off system and drug delivery systems. 相似文献
In this letter, numerical simulation and experimental study of a radial-slab solid-state laser are presented. The laser includes four crossing-slabs pumped by four Xe flashlamps. The numerical simulation of coherent intensity in the near field and the far field indicates that the laser with the structure can improve the quality of output beam compared with incoherent beam combination. The radial-slab solid-state laser is fabricated, and initial experiments are carried out at a pulse repetition of 1 Hz. Nine beams in the near field and one combined beam in the far field are obtained in our initial experiment. The experimental results are consistent with the numerical analysis in the coherent condition. The results show that coherent beam combination is obtained by this laser. 相似文献
Abstract . The solvothermal reaction between cuprous iodide and the rigid triangular imidazole ligand in mixed N,N′‐dimethylacetamide (DMA)‐acetonitrile solvent leads to the isolation of the 3D metal‐organic framework [(Cu4I4)3(TIPA)4] · 7DMA ( 1 ) [TIPA = tri(4‐imidazolylphenyl) amine], which was characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, powder X‐ray diffraction, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Topologically, the structure of 1 is an unprecedented 3,3,4,4‐connected net with a point symbol of {4.8.10}2{4.82}2{42.82.102}2{84.122}. Compound 1 exhibits orange‐red photoluminescence with an emission maximum at 622 nm at room temperature. 相似文献

Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer in the world’s woman population with a high incidence in developing countries where diagnostic conditions for the cancer are poor. The main culprit causing the cancer is the human papillomavirus (HPV). HPV is divided into three major groups, i.e., high-risk (HR) group, probable high-risk (pHR) group, and low-risk (LR) group according to their potential of causing cervical cancer. Therefore, developing a sensitive, reliable, and cost-effective point-of-care diagnostic method for the virus genotypes in developing countries even worldwide is of high importance for the cancer prevention and control strategies. Here we present a combined method of isothermal recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA), lateral flow dipstick (LFD), and reverse dot blot (RDB), in quick point-of-care identification of HPV genotypes. The combined method is highly specific to HPV when the conserved L1 genes are used as targeted genes for amplification. The method can be used in identification of HPV genotypes at point-of-care within 1 h with a sensitivity of low to 100 fg of the virus genomic DNA. We have demonstrated that it is an excellent diagnostic point-of-care assay in monitoring the disease without time-consuming and expensive procedures and devices.
Our group has developed a series of molecular electrocatalysts for hydrogen generation based on triazenido–metal complexes (cobalt, copper, etc.). In this paper, we first present the electrocatalytic performance of a new dinuclear silver complex, [Ag2(L)2], formed by the reaction of the triazenido ligand 1‐[(2‐carboxymethyl)benzene]‐3‐[(2‐methoxy)benzene]triazene (HL) with AgNO3. At room temperature, the silver complex shows photoluminescence at 653 nm. The electrocatalytic systems based on this silver complex can afford 106.57 and 1536.36 moles of hydrogen per mole of catalyst per hour from acetic acid at an overpotential (OP) of 991.6 mV and from a neutral aqueous buffer (pH = 7.0) at an OP of 837.6 mV, respectively. Electrochemical investigations show that both silver ion and triazenido ligand play a role in determining the catalytic activities of the electrocatalytic system. 相似文献
