RutheniumII complexes bearing three axially chiral bipyridyl ligands were synthesized as a new family of chiral complex dyes, and Δ-(S)- and Λ-(S)-diastereomers were obtained. The X-ray crystal structure analyses, spectroscopy, and DFT calculations suggested that all the bipyridyls maintained chirality in both the ground and excited states, and the Δ-(S)- and Λ-(S)-isomers are the matched (more relaxed) and mismatched (more constrained) pairs, respectively. The mismatched Λ-(S)-isomer exhibited red circularly polarized phosphorescence (CPP) both in solution and in the solid state. The solution state CPP is the most intense of ruthenium complexes, while the solid state CPP is the first example of them. It is supposed that, for the Λ-(S)-isomer, the six cumulative CH/π interactions suppress further distortion in the T1 state. 相似文献

A prototype split-disk amplifier consisted of four Nd:YAG ceramics and single crystals was demonstrated with a 3.7 cm square clear aperture. A single-pass small-signal gain of 2.0 and a total stored energy of 11.1 J in the eight YAG disks were obtained. The maximum output energy of 10.4 J with the YAG disk amplifier was achieved in a single-shot operation. A near-field pattern of 31 mm × 31 mm square with super Gaussian shape was measured. 相似文献

Single crystals of strontium cobaltate, SrCoO3−x, have been grown by the floating‐zone method in an oxygen flow. The compound crystallizes with the cubic perovskite structure, with Pmm symmetry, as determined by X‐ray diffraction. Refinement of the O‐atom site occupancy yields the chemical composition SrCoO2.64 [x = 0.36 (3)]. The anisotropic displacement ellipsoids of the O atoms suggest that their positional disorder occurs in a direction perpendicular to that of the Co—O bonds. 相似文献

A P‐fused double helicene consisting of a highly distorted benzene ring, with a bending angle of 23°, has been synthesized by a tandem intramolecular phospha‐Friedel–Crafts reaction. Despite the distortion and reduced aromaticity, the double helicene shows thermal and chemical stability. These are important features that make these compounds attractive for applications as a new C2‐symmetric bisphosphine ligand. PurposeTo determine the clinical value of routine use of thin-section 3D MRI using 3D FSE sequences with a variable flip angle technique for internal derangements of the knee joint at 3 T.Method and MaterialsThirty-four knees in 34 patients suspected of having internal derangements of the knee joint were included. Following standard 2D MRI protocol including sagittal PDWI, T1WI and T2*WI, coronal fat-suppressed PDWI, and axial fat-suppressed PDWI with 3-4 mm thicknesses, fat-suppressed and water-excitation PDWI using 3D FSE sequences with a variable flip angle technique with 0.6 mm thickness were obtained in coronal plane and the three major planes with 1 mm thickness (3D MRI) was reformatted. The standard 2D MRI protocol and reformatted 3D MRI protocol (three sagittal 2D sequence images plus 3D MRI) were independently analyzed by two radiologists concerning presence or absence of lesions in the menisci, cartilage, and ligament. Interobserver agreements in both the MRI protocols were assessed by weighted-kappa coefficients. Regarding diagnostic accuracy, areas under the receiver operating characteristic curves (Az values) of both the MRI protocols were compared.ResultsThirty-eight meniscal lesions, 39 cartilage lesions, and 20 ligamentous lesions were surgically detected. Excellent interobserver agreements (kappa = 0.91–0.98) were seen in both the MRI protocols, with a slightly better tendency in the reformatted 3D MRI protocol. Average Az values in detection of the meniscal, cartilage, and ligamentous lesions were significantly higher in the reformatted 3D MRI protocol than in the standard 2D MRI protocol (p < 0.01 or p < 0.001).ConclusionRoutine use of reformatted thin-section 3D MRI using 3D FSE sequences with a variable flip angle technique may improve diagnostic accuracy and confidence in detection of internal derangements of the knee joint. 相似文献

The synthesis includes solution-phase peptide synthesis and the preparation of NMe-3-(3-furyl)alanine (NMe-FurAla), a unique component of rhizonin A, which was prepared in chiral form via Barton-MacCombie deoxygenation as a key step. The concept of an Active mirror with transparent Nd/Cr:YAG ceramics is proposed. A new ceramic material pumped by an arc-metal-halide lamp has been experimentally implemented. CW-laser light generated in a 1064 nm Nd:YAG micro-tip oscillator was amplified by an Active mirror made of Nd/Cr:YAG ceramic and pumped by CW arc-lamp light. The saturation power density of the Nd/Cr:YAG ceramic was lower than that of Nd:YAG because the stimulated-cross-section and lifetime were effectively enhanced by the sensitization of Cr ions. The maximum output laser power while keeping spatial beam quality was up to 3 W with an input lamp power of 9 W; the resulting optical-optical conversion efficiency of 33% was close to the theoretical prediction of nearly 50%. 相似文献
