The purpose of this review is to present an overview of the development of photodiagnostic and photodynamic therapy (PDD and PDT) techniques in Poland. The paper discusses the principles of PDD, including fluorescent techniques in determining precancerous conditions and cancers of the skin, digestive tract, bladder and respiratory tract. Methods of PDT of cancer will be discussed and the current state of knowledge as well as future trends in the development of photodynamic techniques will be presented, including the possibility of using photodynamic antimicrobial therapy. Research pioneers in photodynamic medicine such as Thomas Dougherty are an inspiration for the development of methods of PDD and PDT in our Clinic. The Center for Laser Diagnostics and Therapy in Bytom, Poland, promotes the propagation of PDD and PDT through the training of clinicians and raising awareness among students in training and the general public. Physicians at the Center are engaged in photomedical research aimed at clinical implementation and exploration of new avenues in photomedicine while optimizing existing modalities. The Center promotes dissemination of clinical results from a wide range of topics in PDD and PDT and serving as representative authorities of photodynamic medicine in Poland and Europe.  相似文献

The second-order generally invariant Lagrangians for the metric fields are studied within the framework of the Ehresmann theory of jets. Such a Lagrangian is a function on an appropriate fiber bundle whose structure group is the groupL n 3 of invertible 3-jets with source and target at the origin 0 of the real,n-dimensional Euclidean spaceR n, and whose type fiber is the manifold Tn 2(Rn* R n*) of 2-jets with source at 0 R n and target in the symmetric tensor productR n* Rn*. Explicit formulas for the action ofL n 3 onT n 2(Rn* R n*) are considered, and a complete system of differential identities for the generally invariant Lagrangians is obtained.  相似文献

In this paper, vector fields which are symmetries of the contact ideal are studied. It is shown that contact symmetries of the Helmholtz form transform a dynamical form to a dynamical form which is variational (i.e. comes as the Euler-Lagrange form from a Lagrangian). The case of dynamical forms representing first-order classes in the variational sequence is analysed in detail, which means, by the variational sequence theory, that systems of ordinary differential equations of order ?3 are concerned.  相似文献

The specific heat of the novel high temperature superconductor Y0.7Th0.3C1.58 (Tc = 17.0 K) has been measured between 4 and 22 K. Unlike the other known high temperature superconductors (Tc > 16 K) which have either an A-15 or a NaCl-type structure, this material forms in the b.c.c., Pu2C3-type, structure. The Debye temperature, θD, is 346 K and the linear term coefficient, γ, of the specific heat has the value 4.66 mJ/mole-K2. Thus the electronic density of states, N(0), which is proportional to γ, is quite low. The energy gap, 2Δ/kTc, on the other hand has an anomalously high value of 5.8. Comparisons between these parameters of Y0.7Th0.3C1.58 and those for some A-15 and NaCl-type superconductors are made.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this work we report preliminary results obtained for methacrylic polymers incorporating aurone side-group as photochemical active molecule. The aurone polymers were obtained by a three-step synthetic approach: (2Z)-6-hydroxy-2-(4-R-benzyliden)-1-benzofuran-3(2H)-ones were synthesized by using condensation reation of 6-hydroxybenzofuran-3-one with benzaldehydes; then methacrylate monomers were synthesized by reaction the alcohols with methacryloyl chloride; and the polymers were synthesized by free radical polymerization. Polymers were characterized by 1HNMR spectroscopy and DSC techniques. Their physicochemical properties are determined by absorption, fluorescence excitation and emission spectroscopies.  相似文献
