Optimizing Optoelectronic Properties of Pyrimidine‐Based TADF Emitters by Changing the Substituent for Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes with External Quantum Efficiency Close to 25 % and Slow Efficiency Roll‐Off

A series of green butterfly‐shaped thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) emitters, namely PXZPM , PXZMePM , and PXZPhPM , are developed by integrating an electron‐donor (D) phenoxazine unit and electron‐acceptor (A) 2‐substituted pyrimidine moiety into one molecule via a phenyl‐bridge π linkage to form a D –π–A–π–D configuration. Changing the substituent at pyrimidine unit in these emitters can finely tune their emissive characteristics, thermal properties, and energy gaps between the singlet and triplet states while maintaining frontier molecular orbital levels, and thereby optimizing their optoelectronic properties. Employing these TADF emitters results in a green fluorescent organic light‐emitting diode (OLED) that exhibits a peak forward‐viewing external quantum efficiency (EQE) close to 25 % and a slow efficiency roll‐off characteristic at high luminance.

Enantioselective Reduction of 2-Ketoalkanephosphonate by Baker's Yeast

Bioreduction of 2-oxo-3-halo (or azido) alkanephosphonates and 4-ethoxy-4,2-dioxobutanephosphonates by baker's yeast afforded 3-substituted 2-hydroxyalkanephosphonates in moderate to good yields and ee value. Moreover, a regio- and stereoselective bioreduction of 2,3-dioxoalkanephosphonates and 2,4-dioxoalkanephosphonates by baker's yeast was studied also. The resulting chiral hydroxy compounds can be used as chirons for the stereoselective synthesis of biologically active molecules.     

Polystyrene-bound diethanolamine based ionic liquids for chemical fixation of CO2

Polystyrene-bound diethanolamine based ionic liquids (PS-DHEEAB and PS-THEAB) were synthesized and applied for the chemical fixation of CO₂ into cyclic carbonates without any additional co-catalyst and solvent. The effect of the catalysts with different number of hydroxyl group in the cation of the IL on the reaction was systematically investigated. Highest activity and selectivity were achieved in the presence of polystyrene supported diethanolamine ethyl bromide (PS-DHEEAB) in comparison with other catalysts employed. The catalyst was tough in stability and also found to be extended to a variety of terminal epoxides and aziridines. The relationship between high catalytic reactivity and the –OH functional groups was proposed.     

The gauge transformation of the q-deformed modified KP hierarchy

In this paper, we mainly study three types of gauge transformation operators for the q-mKP hierarchy. The successive applications of these gauge transformation operators are derived. And the corresponding communities between them are also investigated.
