In the present work, we examine the soliton excitations in the relativistic Toda lattice model using the rotational expansion method, where the coupling between the lattice sites is varied. For specific choices of the coupling strength we proceed to analyze the nonlinear wave excitations arising in the model which are found to be dark, singular and periodic solitary wave profiles. These solitary wave profiles are admitted to show possible modulation in its amplitude.  相似文献

Putrescine (1,4-diaminobutane) a biologically active diamine has been found to be a valuable analyte for several clinical and analytical purposes. The present work deals with diamine oxidase immobilized on iron oxide nanoparticles for quantifying the amount of putrescine produced, by the decarboxylation of ornithine, which is converted into hydrogen peroxide by the enzyme diamine oxidase (DAO). This reaction can be quantified using electrochemical techniques, which forms the basis of this work. Iron oxide (Fe(3)O(4)) nanoparticles, synthesized using thermal co-precipitation, were chosen for immobilization of DAO due to its simple preparation procedure, high surface area and cost-effectiveness. The size of the particles was in the range of 25-35 nm and the enzyme was linked covalently by carbodiimide activation and confirmed using FT-IR. For detecting the hydrogen peroxide released in the reaction, a glassy carbon-working electrode coated with enzyme linked iron oxide nanoparticles was poised at +0.4 V versus an Ag/AgCl reference electrode and a platinum wire was used as the counter electrode. A step-wise increase in current was observed and linearity was obtained in the range of 2-8 nM, with 0.65 nM as the minimum detection limit and the response time was found to be 0.3 seconds. Ascorbic acid, a common interfering molecule in biological samples, did not interfere with the measurements indicating the high degree of specificity of the diamine oxidase-based nano-interfaced biosensor.  相似文献

With the aim of utilizing the Keratinous waste material, poultry feather, which is up till now discarded as a waste, was hydrolyzed to form keratin hydrolyzate (FH). As FH does not form a film, it was mixed with gelatin (G) and FH‐G composite was prepared in film form. FH‐G was further graft co‐polymerized with 2‐hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) to achieve better physico‐chemical properties for the resultant hydrogels. Percentage grafting studies and IR studies confirmed the grafting of PHEMA onto FH‐G. FH‐G‐PHEMA exhibited better mechanical properties compared to FH‐G and FH‐PHEMA. TG studies clearly indicated the grafting of HEMA onto FH and FH‐G. SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) pictures of FH‐G and FH‐PHEMA films exhibited brittle nature on their surface, whereas continuity and A smooth surface was observed on for the FH‐G‐PHEMA films.  相似文献

We describe the synthesis, characterization, and in vitro antibacterial evaluation of a library of novel compounds based on 1,2,3-triazolo phosphonate framework along with the evaluation of DNA gyrase inhibitory potential of a promising molecule in silico. Preparation of these compounds was carried out via a multistep sequence comprising of the Abramov reaction followed by the Cu(I)-catalyzed azide–alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) as the key steps. Various α-hydroxyphosphonate derivatives containing either a secondary or tertiary alcohol at the α position were prepared. When screened for their antibacterial activities in vitro using a Gram-positive (Staphylococcus aureus) and three Gram-negative (Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa) strains, majority of these derivatives exhibited reasonable to good effects with the analogue 5k being active against all the strains. The SAR analysis indicated that the activity was influenced by the position of the α-hydroxyphosphonate moiety as well as the substituent present on the benzene ring attached to the 1,2,3-triazole ring. Moreover, the compound 5k showed strong interactions with the DNA active site when docked into the DNA gyrase in silico. Thus, the 1,2,3-triazolo phosphonate derivative 5k appeared to be a novel and promising hit molecule that deserves further study as a potential antibacterial agent.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the problem of computing an “optimal” popular matching. We assume that our input instance admits a popular matching and here we are asked to return not any popular matching but an optimal popular matching, where the definition of optimality is given as a part of the problem statement; for instance, optimality could be fairness in which case we are required to return a fair popular matching. We show an O(n2+m) algorithm for this problem, assuming that the preference lists are strict, where m is the number of edges in G and n is the number of applicants.  相似文献

Ascorbic acid can be determined by titration with potassium ferricyanide in sulphuric, phosphoric or hydrochloric acid media. Twelve indicators, including ferroin and some triphenylmethane and thiazine dyes, have been found suitable. The method has been successfully applied to assay of commercial products for vitamin C. A novel Schiff base, 3-(((1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)imino)methyl)-4H-chromen-4-one (L) was synthesized and used as ligand for the synthesis of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Pd(II) complexes. The structural characterization of the ligand and its metal complexes was determined by using various physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. The IR data show that the Schiff base ligand acts as a bidentate donor coordinating through the oxygen atom of the chromone and nitrogen atom of the imine group. Based on all spectral data, tetrahedral geometry has been proposed for all the metal complexes except Cu(II) and Pd(II) complexes. However, square-planar geometry has been proposed for Cu(II) and Pd(II) complexes. DNA binding interaction of the ligand and its metal complexes was investigated by using UV–visible absorption, fluorescence and molecular docking studies. The binding constants were in the order of 104 M?1 suggesting good binding affinity towards CT-DNA. The DNA cleavage activity of the synthesized compounds was investigated by using agarose gel electrophoresis. In vitro antimicrobial activity of the synthesized compounds were screened against two gram-positive bacteria (Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureu) and two gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli, Proteus vulgaris) and one fungi strain Candida albicans using disc diffusion method. Antioxidant activity was carried out by DPPH radical scavenging method. In vitro anti-proliferative activity of the ligand and its metal complexes was also carried on the HEK-293, HeLa, IMR-32 and MCF-7 cancer cell lines using MTT assay.  相似文献

The determination of antimony(III) with potassium hexacyanoferrate(III) in 5M hydrochloric acid medium and in the presence of 40% v/v acetic acid is described. Ferroin is used as the indicator.
