A new ligand, 5‐{[5‐(pyridine‐4‐yl)‐1,3,4‐oxadiazole‐2‐ylthio]methyl}quinoline‐8‐ol (K), was synthesized by base‐catalysed reaction of 5‐chloromethyl‐8‐hydroxy quinoline (CMQ) and 5‐(pyridine‐4‐yl)‐1,3,4‐oxadiazole‐2‐thiol. The obtained ligand K was characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and IR spectroscopic techniques and reacted with transition metal salts to afford metal‐containing heterochelates. The structures of the synthesized heterochelates were characterized using elemental analyses, infrared spectra, electronic spectra, magnetic measurements, FAB mass spectrum and thermogravimetric analyses. The kinetic parameters such as order of reaction (n) and the energy of activation (Ea) are reported using the Freeman–Carroll method. The pre‐exponential factor (A), the activation entropy (ΔS#), the activation enthalpy (ΔH#) and the free energy of activation (ΔG#) were calculated. Heterochelates were also screened for their in vitro antibacterial activity against a range of Gram‐positive (Bacillus substilis, Staphylococcus aureus) and Gram‐negative (Escherichia coli, Serratiamarcescens) organisms. Sodium bis(trimethylstannyl)amide NaN(SnMe3)2, isolated by the reaction of trimethylstannyldiethylamine with sodium amide, reacts with tris(trimethylsilyl)hydrazino—dichloro-phosphine to form bis(trimethylsilyl)bis(trimethylstannyl)-2-phospha-2-tetrazene, (Me3Si)2N-N=P-N(SnMe3)2. The quantification of the prediction accuracy in large eddy simulations (LES) is very challenging due to various interacting errors associated with this approach. When dealing with errors in LES using implicit filtering, numerical and modeling errors have drawn the interest of many researchers. Little attention has been paid to other sources of discrepancies between LES results and reference data, namely sampling errors, influence of the initial conditions, improper boundary conditions or uncertainties issuing from reference data. A framework of metrics that includes all these issues is addressed in the present paper to study subgrid-scale (SGS) models for LES and to quantify their prediction accuracy and computational costs. The method is applied to a simple wall-bounded turbulent flow at moderate Reynolds number. It turns out from the results obtained with six commonly used SGS models that wall-adapting models (WALE and SIGMA) and localized dynamic models reproduce the physics of the flow field more faithfully, reveal a superior prediction accuracy and have a similar computational cost than models using van Driest wall damping. Especially at the viscous wall region (\(r^+<50\)), wall-adapting and localized dynamic models are more accurate, reflecting the proper near wall behavior of such models. Relying on the analysis of sources of various errors, uncertainties in LES are estimated and systematically assessed, and their influence on simulation results is quantified. Finally, engineering estimations of the required averaging time to obtain basic estimates of statistical quantities with a predetermined degree of accuracy are suggested.  相似文献

Certain aspects of classical and quantum mechanics of complex Hamiltonian systems in one dimension investigated within the framework of an extended complex phase space approach, characterized by the transformation x = x 1 + ip 2, p = p 1 + ix 2, are revisited. It is argued that Carl Bender inducted $ \mathcal{P}\mathcal{T} $ \mathcal{P}\mathcal{T} symmetry in the studies of complex power potentials as a particular case of the present general framework in which two additional degrees of freedom are produced by extending each coordinate and momentum into complex planes. With a view to account for the subjective component of physical reality inherent in the collected data, e.g., using a Chevreul (hand-held) pendulum, a generalization of the Hamilton’s principle of least action is suggested.  相似文献

The purpose of this article is to study Lipschitz CR mappings from an h-extendible (or semi-regular) hypersurface in ${\mathbb{C}^n}$ . Under various assumptions on the target hypersurface, it is shown that such mappings must be smooth. A rigidity result for proper holomorphic mappings from strongly pseudoconvex domains is also proved.  相似文献

Collagen is the main component of connective tissue and finds immense applications as a biomaterial. In this study, effect of UV irradiation on collagen crosslinked with iron has been carried out. The physical and optical properties of crosslinked collagen affected by UV irradiation were analyzed using electrospectral and fluorescence studies. The electronic spectral studies showed that the photoproducts formed on UV radiation decrease in the presence of iron. Circular dichroic studies revealed that the conformational changes brought about in the protein due to UV irradiation have been reduced owing to the crosslinking with iron. However, prolonged irradiation does bring about conformational changes to the protein.  相似文献
