Absolute total electron scattering cross sections for carbon dioxide have been measured at low electron energies using a photoelectron
source. The measurements have been carried out at 27 electron energies varying from 0.91–9.14 eV with an accuracy of ±3%.

Mass distributions of fragments in the low-energy fission of nuclei from 187Ir to 213At have been analysed. This analysis has shown that shell effects in symmetric-mode fragment mass yields from the fission of pre-actinide nuclei could be described if one assumes the existence of two strongly deformed neutron shells in the arising fragments with neutron numbers N1 ≈ 52 and N2 ≈ 68. A new method has been proposed for quantitatively describing the mass distributions of the symmetric fission mode for pre-actinides with A ≈ 180–220. 相似文献

We present a variational treatment for the E × e pseudo Jahn-Teller system. Through canonical transformation the electron and phonon states are decoupled. An analytical form is obtained for the ground state energy by scaling transformation. Including both the dynamical displacement of phonon modes and the softening of phonon frequency, this approach yields fairly accurate results for the ground state energy. The energy splitting and Ham's reduction factor are calculated, which also generates fairly good results compared with other perturbation results. We argue that our variational wave function is valid for the weak and intermediate coupling range. 相似文献

A study of the gas-phase parameters involved in ArF laser induced chemical vapour deposition of silicon-oxide thin films is presented. A complete set of experiments has been performed showing the influence of the concentration of the precursor gases, N2O and SiH4, and their influence on total and partial pressures on film growth and properties. In this paper we demonstrate the ability of this LCVD method to deposit silicon oxide films of different compositions and densities by appropriate control of gas composition and total pressure. Moreover, a material specific calibration plot comprising data obtained using different preparation techniques is presented, allowing determination of the stoichiometry of SiO
x
films by using FTIR spectroscopy independently of the deposition method. For the range of processing conditions examined, the experimental results suggest that chemical processes governing deposition take place mainly in the gas phase. 相似文献

Flowing and static gas-phase samples of HNO3 in O2 and N2 were analyzed by long-path ultraviolet/visible (UV/VIS) spectroscopy to reveal the presence of both NO2 and NO3, the concentrations of which were calculated using differential absorption cross sections. Elliptic systems of two second-order equations, which can be written as a single equation with complex coefficients and a homogeneous operator, are studied. The necessary and sufficient conditions for the connection of traces of a solution are obtained for an arbitrary bounded domain with a smooth boundary. These conditions are formulated in the form of a certain moment problem on the boundary of a domain; they are applied to the study of boundary-value problems. In particular, it is shown that the Dirichlet problem and the Neumann problem are solvable only together. In the case where the domain is a disk, the indicated moment problem is solved together with the Dirichlet problem and the Neumann problem.
