Two types of polymer electrolytes were studied: poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) and epoxidized natural rubber (ENR) both filled with lithium perchlorate. Universal dielectric behavior and impedance relaxation were investigated at room temperature over a wide range of salt concentration. Complex impedance plots exhibit one semicircle in some cases (PEO polymer electrolytes) with an extended spike at low frequencies. This implies a double layer capacity strongly influences conductivity at low frequencies. In the ENR–salt system, semicircles can be obtained only at very high concentrations. This points towards stable resistor dominated networks only develop at very high salt concentrations for this system. Centers of the semicircles lie below real axis indicating non-Debye dielectric relaxation. The relaxation peak broadens and shifts to higher frequencies with increasing salt content. It indicates that the relaxation time of polarization relaxations decreases with ascending salt content. Relaxations occur at extremely low salt concentrations in PEO and only at very high salt concentrations in ENR. Hence, conductivity of ENR–salt is one to two orders of magnitude lower as for PEO–salt. 相似文献

Summary: Solution casting technique served to prepare solid solutions of lithium perchlorate and poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) having different molecular masses. Salt concentrations of solutions were varied between around 2 and 13 wt%. Crystallinity and melting point depression served to determine composition and content of amorphous phase as well as thermodynamic behavior of the solutions. Conductivity as a function of salt concentration in the amorphous phase follows a power law at constant temperature (30 °C). It results that both exponent and mobility of charge carriers increase with ascending molecular mass of PEO. The mobility follows an increase with molecular mass proportional to M2.8 indicating dependence of mobility on interstitial volume between chain molecules. Deviation of solution from perfect behavior can be evaluated by melting point depression. Accordingly, increase in conductivity is preferably related to approach to perfect solution behavior. Determination of dielectric function allows some conclusion about ion pair formation in the systems under discussion. It turns out that probability of ion pair formation decreases with increasing molecular mass of PEO in agreement with thermodynamic behavior of the solutions. 相似文献

A new fast parallel detection method for stage I screening of solid catalysts has been developed. This method is based on the color change of organic dyes in the presence of either educts or reaction products in a reaction gas flow. As an example, NO decomposition and NO reduction with propylene under lean or rich conditions were studied. The presence of NO in a gas stream was detected by the color change from colorless to blue-green of filter paper impregnated with an organic dye, 2,2'-azinobis(3-ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS), which was placed in the gas stream after the catalyst bed. The catalyst library was made up of mixed metal oxides, synthesized by impregnation of activated carbon with metal oxide precursor solutions and subsequent combustion of the carbon matrix. Catalytic activity of these metal oxides was compared to platinum on gamma-alumina as a reference catalyst. The most active compounds were then studied in detail for their DeNO(x)properties in a high precision parallel flow test rig under a stationary and cyclic lean/reach operation. Most studies concerning expression data analyses usually exploit information on the variability of gene intensity across samples. This information is sensitive to initial data processing, which affects the final conclusions. However expression data contains scale-free information, which is directly comparable between different samples. We propose to use the pairwise ratio of gene expression values rather than their absolute intensities for a classification of expression data. This information is stable to data processing and thus more attractive for classification analyses. In proposed schema of data analyses only information on relative gene expression levels in each sample is exploited. This paper describes the synthesis and characterization of polystyrene-block-poly(2,2'-dimethyl-4,4'-biphenylene phenylterephthalate)-block-polystyrene and of poly(ethylene glycol)-black-poly(2,2'-dimethyl-4,4'-biphenylene phenylterephthalate)-block-poly (ethylene glycol) block copolymers. The ABA-triblock copolymers were synthesized by condensation reaction of telechelic poly(2,2'-dimethyl-4,4'-biphenylene phenylterephthalate) with ω-hydroxy polystyrene and ω-hydroxy poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether of different molecular weights prepared by anionic polymerization.
