The role on filiform corrosion (FFC), after an automotive painting process with a phosphate treatment, of the near surface deformed layer (NSDL) formed during mechanical processing on AA8006 aluminium alloys is investigated. Samples subjected to specific surface pretreatments are examined before and after different steps of the phosphating process in order to identify the characteristics of the NSDL that are responsible for the susceptibility to FFC. The thickness, the structure and the composition of this NSDL are determined by SEM, RBS, XPS and transmission electron microscopy. The presence of a 200‐nm thick NSDL which is not completely eliminated during the degreasing step of the phosphating process increases dramatically the FFC susceptibility of AA8006 aluminium alloys compared with beforehand etched samples. The influence of Pb and Mg segregation on top of the surface is found to be negligible whereas the specific microstructure of the NSDL characterised by nanograins with boundaries decorated by nano‐sized oxide intermetallic particles seems to play a major role on FFC. The impurity photovoltaic effect (IPV) has mostly been studied in various semiconductors such as silicon, silicon carbide and GaAs in order to increase infrared absorption and hence cell efficiency. In this work, sulphur is used as the IPV effect impurity incorporated in silicon solar cells. For our simulation we use the numerical device simulator (SCAPS). We calculate the solar cell performances (short circuit current density Jsc, open circuit voltage Voc, conversion efficiency η and quantum efficiency QE). We study the influence of light trapping and certain impurity parameters like impurity concentration and position in the gap on the solar cell performances. Simulation results for IPV effect on silicon doped with sulphur show an improvement of the short circuit current and the efficiency for sulphur energy levels located far from the middle of the band gap especially at Ec-Et=0.18 eV.  相似文献

To determine the behavior of a copolymer is dilute solution, a viscosity study has been performed on a polystyrene–polydimethylsiloxane block copolymer in three solvents presenting different thermodynamic conditions. The results are discussed in relation to a mixture of homopolymers and a segregated model. The unperturbed dimensions, obtained by the Stock–mayer–Fixman method, are intermediate between those of the parent homopolymers. The intrinsic viscosity measured in a good solvent, toluene, was close to the weighted averages of those of the corresponding homopolymers of equal molecular weight, but higher in decalin and in butanone, θ solvents for PS and PDMS, respectively. According to the low value obtained for the interaction parameter, the chain is slightly expanded as a result of the interactions between the unlike monomer units. Both segregation and random conformation would probably occur, depending on the quality of the solvent.  相似文献

Rheological properties of carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) solutions   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
In this study, we investigated the way of predicting two critical concentrations of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) solutions using simple experimental procedures with a rotational rheometer. It was found that, above a critical shear rate, all CMC solutions (0.2 to 7 wt.%) exhibit shear-thinning behavior and the flow curves could be described by the Cross model. A first critical CMC concentration c*, transition to semidilute network solution, was determined using the following methods (1) study of the flow curve shapes, (2) Cross model parameters, (3) plot of the specific viscosity vs the overlap parameter, and (4) empirical structure–properties relationships. Furthermore, both creep and frequency-sweep measurements showed that the solutions behaved as viscoelastic materials above a second critical CMC concentration c** (transition to concentrated solution). The characterization of CMC solutions was completed with a time-dependent viscosity study that showed that the CMC solutions exhibited strong thixotropic behavior, especially at the highest CMC concentrations.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to investigate the biological activities of Algerian algae, Sargassum vulgare, Cladostephus hirsutus and Rissoella verruculosa. Antimicrobial activity of the crude extracts and their fractions was assessed using the disc diffusion assay, the minimum inhibitory concentration and the minimum bactericidal concentration. Antiparasitic activity was studied in vitro against the blood stream forms of Trypanosoma brucei brucei and the intraerythrocytic stages of Plasmodium falciparum. Ethyl acetate (EA) fractions of the three tested algae showed more potent antimicrobial activity against S. aureus (7–14.5 mm) and B. cereus (7–10.75 mm), MIC values ranged from 0.9375 to 7.5 mg mL?1 and MBC values > 15 mg mL?1. Concerning the antiparasitic activity, EA factions of S. vulgare (IC50 = 9.3 μg mL?1) and R. verruculosa (IC50 = 11.0 μg mL?1) were found to be more effective against T. brucei brucei, whereas the three EA fractions were little active against P. falciparum.  相似文献

A two-dimensional model of a metal-semiconductor-metal(MSM) ZnO-based photodetector(PD) is developed.The PD is based on a drift diffusion model of a semiconductor that allows the calculation of potential distribution inside the structure,the transversal and longitudinal distributions of the electric field,and the distribution of carrier concentration.The ohmicity of the contact has been confirmed.The dark current of MSM PD based ZnO for different structural dimensions are likewise calculated.The calculations are comparable with the experimental results.Therefore,the influence with respect to parameters s(finger spacing) and w(finger width) is studied,which results in the optimization of these parameters.The best optimization found to concur with the experimental results is s = 16 μm,w = 16 μm,l = 250 μm,L = 350 μm,where l is the finger length and L is the length of the structure.This optimization provides a simulated dark current equal to 24.5 nA at the polarization of 3 V.  相似文献

The chemical composition of the essential oil obtained from the aerial parts of Santolina chamaecyparissus L., growing in Algeria, was investigated by GC-MS analyses. A total of 36 compounds were identified, accounting for 91.7% of the essential oil obtained. Camphor (31.1%) and cubenol (17.0%) were the predominant compounds. The potential of the antimicrobial activity was also investigated and the tested sample proved to be very active against Klebsiella pneumonia and Candida albicans (34.1 +/- 0.02 mm and 35.0 +/- 0.01 mm, respectively). Transverse sections of the leaf and stem of the plant suggest that the essential oil is localized in endogenous and exogenous sites.  相似文献
