The sulfonated calixarene I8C12 acts as a host for homologous merocyanines Mc1 and Mc2 in organic solvents, exhibiting neither selectivity towards the guest dyes nor solvent dependence of the complexation equilibria. In water, on the contrary, only the lower homologue, Mc1, is solubilized in the presence of the calixarene. A combination of UV–visible and fluorescence spectroscopic and photophysical analysis and MD structural simulation of the calixarene-dye complexes was employed to account for the observations, and suggests that a radical change in the complexation mode occurs upon moving from an organic to an aqueous environment.  相似文献

In a financial market with one riskless asset and n risky assets whose prices are lognormal, we solve in a closed form the problem of a pension fund maximizing the expected CRRA utility of its surplus till the (stochastic) death time of a representative agent. We consider a unique asset allocation problem for both accumulation and decumulation phases. The optimal investment in the risky assets must decrease during the first phase and increase during the second one. We accordingly suggest it is not optimal to manage the two phases separately, and outsourcing of allocation decisions should be avoided in both phases. Organomercury fulminates react with acetylene derivatives to give unstable 3-(organomercurio)isoxazoles, which isomerize to 2-cyanoenolates. These are hydrolyzed with hydrochloric acid to the corresponding enols and are cleaved by water at the double bond. Abstract— The spectroscopic characterization of the photoreceptor pigment is one of the main questions in the study of the photosensory transduction chains in photomotile microorganisms. One of the possible techniques that can be used is in vivo microspectrofluorometry. By means of a tunable dye-laser microspectrofiuorometer developed by us, we have investigated some of the spectroscopic properties of the photoreceptor pigment of the green flagellate Euglena gracilis. The in vivo fluorescence excitation spectrum has been determined and the fluorescence quantum yield has been measured. The results show that flavins are indeed present in the paraflagellar body of E. gracilis and that their fluorescence quantum yield is much lower than that of a free flavin. An estimate of the order of magnitude of the rate constants for primary molecular reactions is tentatively given.  相似文献

Abstract

On the perspective to develop CuO–TiO2 MOS, multilayered Cu and Ti thin layers were alternatively deposited on silicon wafers using 25?keV Ar?+?ion beam sputtering and, subsequently, oxidized by thermal annealing in air at 400?°C for 24?h. The deposited films have variable ratios of the Cu and Ti % at. One of the main goal is to obtain such multilayers avoiding the presence of Cu–Ti–O compounds. The samples were characterized in terms of composition (by RBS and SIMS analyses) and morphology (by AFM and SEM investigations). In particular, SIMS maps allows to observe the spatial distribution and thickness of each phase of the Cu/Ti multilayers, and further to observe Cu diffusion and mixing with Ti, as well as phase separation of CuO and TiO2 in the samples. The reasons of this effect represent an open issue that has to investigated, in order to improve the MOS fabrication.  相似文献

The condensation develops with an initial NH-chloroacetylation and ring closure by quaternarization of the pyridine nitrogen. Hypocotyl growth in etiolated seedlings of wild-type and an aurea mutant of tomato (Lycopersicon esculenturn Mill.), that appears to be deficient in labile phytochrome, is strongly inhibited by UV radiation in the region of 300–400 nm. The role of phytochrome in the UV-mediated inhibition of hypocotyl growth was studied using different experimental approaches: (1) by comparing the effectiveness of treatments of increasing duration of exposure to 692 nm and UV radiation; (2) by modifying the UV spectral range with specific cut-off filters. The experimental results suggest that the UV-induced inhibition of growth in wild-type tomato is mediated to a large extent by the longer wavelengths of the UV-A region and is mediated mainly by phytochrome. In contrast, at wavelengths < 305 nm a strong UV-B effect was found in the aurea mutant, suggesting a preeminent action of a specific UV-B absorbing photoreceptor that displays less action in the wild-type.  相似文献
