We report the first direct observation of the oxygen-isotope ((16)O/(18)O) effect on the in-plane penetration depth lambda(ab) in a nearly optimally doped YBa(2)Cu(3)O(7-delta) film using the novel low-energy muon-spin rotation technique. Spin-polarized low-energy muons are implanted in the film at a known depth z beneath the surface and process in the local magnetic field B(z). This feature allows us to measure directly the profile B(z) of the magnetic field inside the superconducting film in the Meissner state and to make a straightforward determination of lambda(ab). A substantial isotope shift Delta lambda(ab)/lambda(ab)=2.8(1.0)% at 4 K is observed, implying that the in-plane effective supercarrier mass m*(ab) is oxygen-isotope dependent with Delta m*(ab)/m*(ab)=5.5(2.0)%. These results are in good agreement with magnetization measurements on powder samples.  相似文献

At the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI, Villigen, Switzerland) the beam of low-energy positive polarised muons (LE-μ +) with tunable energy between 0.5 and 30 keV allows the extension of the muon-spin-rotation technique (μSR) to studies on thin films and multi-layers (LE-μ +SR). The range of these muons in solids covers the near-surface region up to implantation depths of about 300 nm. As a sensitive local magnetic probe with a complementary observational time window to other techniques LE-μ +SR offers the unique possibility to gain new insights in these nano-scale objects. After outlining the current status of the LE-μ + beam line we demonstrate the potential of this new technique by presenting the results of recent experiments: i) the direct observation of non-local effects in a superconducting Pb film, ii) the oxygen isotope effect on the in-plane penetration depth in optimally doped , and iii) the first observation of the conduction electron spin polarisation in the Ag spacer of a Fe/Ag/Fe tri-layer.  相似文献

Abstract

Porous phosphates are compounds with a branched system of pores, such as X-ray amorphous xerogels of metalphosphates and crystalline phosphates of zeolite type. Having generalized extensive experimental data about the conditions of Al-, Fe-, Cr-, Ga-, In-, Y-phosphate hydrogels synthesis we found the influence of a number of factors on the rates of their formation, stability of structures and the porosity character of xerogels. The mechanism of porous structure formation of xerogels of metalphosphates has been proposed. The problems connected with the regulation of porous structure of xerogels have been discussed. The formation of porous crystalline aluminophosphates of zeolite type has been accomplished through a number of stages. The nature of alkyl ammonium bases influences the direction of the crystallization process and the type of the structure. It was noted that the stoppind of crystallization on different stages of synthesis gives the possibility to obtain new molecular sieves. Thermal changes and sorption properties of aluminopnosphates of zeolite type have been studied. During the process of removing organic cations the formation of secondary porosity was established. The effectiveness of applying porous metalphosphates in catalysis and adsorption processes has been showed.  相似文献

A new series of mixed oxide superconductors with the stoichiometric composition La2−x Dy x Ca y Ba2Cu4+y O z (x=0.0 − 0.5, y=2x) has been studied for structural and superconductiong properties. Our earlier studies on La2−x (Y/Er) x Ca y Ba2Cu4+y O z series, show a strong dependence of T c on hole concentration (p sh). In the present work, the results of the analysis of the neutron diffraction measurements at room temprerature on x=0.3 and 0.5 samples are reported. It is interesting to know that Ca substitutes for both La and Ba site with concomitant displacement of La onto Ba site. Superconductivity studies show that maximum T c is obtained for x=0.5, y=1.0 sample (T c ∼ 75 K), for La1.5Dy0.5Ca1Ba2Cu5O z (La-2125).  相似文献

Muon-spin-rotation (muSR) measurements of the in-plane penetration depth lambda(ab) have been performed in the infinite-layer electron-doped Sr0.9La0.1CuO2 high-T(c) superconductor (HTS). Absence of the magnetic rare-earth ions in this compound allowed us to measure for the first time the absolute value of lambda(ab)(0) in electron-doped HTSs using muSR. We found lambda(ab)(0)=116(2) nm. The zero-temperature depolarization rate sigma(0) proportional, variant 1/lambda(2)(ab)(0)=4.6(1) micros(-1) is more than 4 times higher than expected from the Uemura line. Therefore, this electron-doped HTS does not follow the Uemura relation found for hole-doped HTSs.  相似文献
