Periodic solutions for a Lotka–Volterra mutualism system with several delays

In the present paper, a Lotka–Volterra type mutualism system with several delays is studied. Some new and interesting sufficient conditions are obtained for the global existence of positive periodic solutions of the mutualism system. Our method is based on Mawhin’s coincidence degree and novel estimation techniques for the a priori bounds of unknown solutions. Our results are different from the existing ones such as those in of Yang et al. [F. Yang, D. Jiang, A. Ying, Existence of positive solution of multidelays facultative mutualism system, J. Eng. Math. 3 (2002) 64–68] and Chen et al. [F. Chen, J. Shi, X. Chen, Periodicity in a Lotka–Volterra facultative mutualism system with several delays, J. Eng. Math. 21 (3) (2004) 403–409].     

The Synthesis of Glycoglycerolipids

A convenient synthetic route was developed for the synthesis of the novel glycolipids: 1,2-di-O-acyl-3-O-(2‘-acylamide-2‘-denxy-ct-D-glucopyranosyl)-sn-glycerols. 10 new compounds of glycolipids with different acyl groups were obtained.     

Optical characterization of bromo-alkoxyl-substituted copper phthalocyanine derivative thin films

A series of thin films of copper phthalocyanine derivatives with bromine and alkoxyl substituents [CuPc(OC₈H₁₇)₄Br_m, m=0,1,2,4] were prepared on single-crystal silicon substrates by spin coating. The ellipsometric spectra of the films have been studied on a rotating analyzer–polarizer type of scanning ellipsometer. The optical, dielectric constants and absorption coefficients of the films in 500–800 nm wavelength region were obtained. The results show that the complex refractive index, dielectric constants and absorption coefficient of these thin films are influenced regularly by bromine substituent on conjugated macrocycle. It was found that there are approximately linear relationships between the resonance absorption wavelengths of the films and the average number of bromine atoms substituted on the phthalocyanine ring.     

苯并噻唑重氮氨基偶氮苯与汞（Ⅱ）的显色反应及其应用

报道了新试剂苯并噻唑重氮氨基偶氮苯的合成及其与汞（Ⅱ）的显色反应，在ＴｒｉｔｏｎＸ－１００存在下弱碱性介质中，试剂与汞形成２：１的橙红色络合物，最大吸收波长位于５２０ｎｍ处，表观摩尔吸光系数为１．５１×１０＾５Ｌ．ｍｏｌ＾－１．ｃｍ＾－１。汞量在０～１．２ｍｇ／Ｌ范围内遵守比尔定律，直接应用于废水中微量汞的测定，结果满意。     

Four-wave mixing based 10-Gb/s tunable wavelength conversion in dispersion-flattened microstructure fibers

All-optical wavelength conversion of 10-Gb/s signal based on four-wave mixing is experimentally demonstrated in a 30-m-long dispersion-flattened microstructure fiber with small positive dispersion. For an average pump power of 26 dBm, the conversion efficiency was around -19.5 dB with the fluctuation less than ±1.4 dB, covering a conversion bandwidth of 20 nm. The eye diagram of the converted signal shows good eye opening.     

Feature Selection using Fuzzy Support Vector Machines

The feature selection consists of obtaining a subset of these features to optimally realize the task without the irrelevant ones. Since it can provide faster and cost-effective learning machines and also improve the prediction performance of the predictors, it is a crucial step in machine learning. The feature selection methods using support machines have obtained satisfactory results, but the noises and outliers often reduce the performance. In this paper, we propose a feature selection approach using fuzzy support vector machines and compare it with the previous work, the results of experiments on the UCI data sets show that feature selection using fuzzy SVM obtains better results than using SVM.     

A New theory for evaluating the number density of inclusions in films

A new formulation derived from thermal characters of inclusions and host films for estimating laser induced damage threshold has been deduced. This formulation is applicable for dielectric films when they are irradiated by laser beam with pulse width longer than tens picoseconds. This formulation can interpret the relationship between pulse-width and damage threshold energy density of laser pulse obtained experimentally. Using this formulation, we can analyze which kind of inclusion is the most harmful inclusion. Combining it with fractal distribution of inclusions, we have obtained an equation which describes relationship between number density of inclusions and damage probability. Using this equation, according to damage probability and corresponding laser energy density, we can evaluate the number density and distribution in size dimension of the most harmful inclusions.     

NEW ALTERNATING DIRECTION FINITE ELEMENT SCHEME FOR NONLINEAR PARABOLIC EQUATION

A new alternating direction (AD) finite element (FE) scheme for 3-dimensional nonlinear parabolic equation and parabolic integro-differential equation is studied. By using AD, the 3-dimensional problem is reduced to a family of single space variable problems, calculation work is simplified; by using FE, high accuracy is kept; by using various techniques for priori estimate for differential equations such as inductive hypothesis reasoning, the difficulty arising from the nonlinearity is treated. For both FE and ADFE schemes, the convergence properties are rigorously demonstrated, the optimal H1-and L2-norm space estimates and the 0((△t)2) estimate for time variable are obtained.     

紧矩阵量子群G的余表示与其对偶量子群(A)的关系

设 G=（A,△）为紧矩阵量子群,G为A的所有有限维光滑的、不可约余表示等价类的集合.本文通过（A,△）的一个余表示Vo构造了两个相互配对的集合,利用Hilbert C＊-模的理论证明它们分别为A和Baaj与Skandalis构造的量子群A,并且证明了对任意的α∈G,在A中都对应一个有限维投影算子Pα,满足 dim（α）=dim（pα）.
