Synthesis of title compounds were accomplished by a reaction of vinyl malononitriles and arylidene pyrazolones catalyzed by base. This protocol proceeds via Michael addition followed by intramolecular cyclization leading to the formation of two new C−C bonds. Further the same reaction was also conducted with α,α-dicyano olefins and vinyl malononitriles to furnish 1,6-dihydro biphenyl compounds. Simple reaction conditions, high yields and compatibility are the advantages of this protocol.  相似文献

In view of obtaining some potential antimicrobial compounds, we have described synthesis of novel fluoroquinolones bearing 2‐(piperidin‐4‐yl)‐1H‐benzo[d]imidazole and evaluated for their antimicrobial activity. Alternatively, synthesis of these products was also demonstrated using microwave irradiation technique. The antimicrobial activity of newly synthesized compounds was evaluated against number of microorganisms and the activity is compared with highly active levofloxacin.  相似文献

In this study, we calculate the interaction energy of intrinsic point defects vacancies and interstitials) with screw dislocations in body-centered cubic iron. First (we calculate the dipole tensor of a defect in the bulk crystal using molecular statics. Using a formulation based on linear elasticity theory, we calculate the interaction energy of the defect and the dislocation using both isotropic and anisotropic strain fields. Second, we perform atomistic calculations using molecular statics methods to directly calculate the interaction energy. Results from these two methods are compared. We verify that continuum methods alone are unable to correctly predict the interactions of defects and dislocations near the core. Although anisotropic theory agrees qualitatively with atomistics far from the core, it cannot predict which dumbbell orientations are stable and any continuum calculations must be used with caution. Spontaneous absorption by the core of both vacancies and dumbbells is seen. This paper demonstrates and discusses the differences between continuum and atomistic calculations of interaction energy between a dislocation core and a point defect.  相似文献

The Akabori reaction, devised in 1952 for the identification of C-terminus amino acids, involves the heating of a linear peptide in the presence of anhydrous hydrazine in a sealed tube for several hours. We report here a modified Akabori reaction that rapidly identifies the C-terminus amino acid in a polypeptide including its amino acid sequence information at both the C-terminus and the N-terminus. This modified methodology demonstrates the fundamentals of microwave chemistry applied to bioanalytical problems. In this modified process, hydrazinolysis has been accelerated by the application of microwave irradiation. In our reaction, the linear peptide and hydrazine solution, contained in a loosely covered conical flask, was exposed to a few minutes of irradiation using an unmodified domestic microwave oven. While the classical Akabori reaction required several hours, the microwave assisted reaction takes just minutes. If dimethyl sulfoxide is added to dilute the reaction mixture, the process is retarded enough to allow aliquots of the reaction mixture to be drawn every few minutes over a period of about an hour in order to study the progress of hydrazinolysis. Reaction products were monitored by mass spectrometry-primarily FAB-MS. In addition to providing sequence information, the microwave enhanced Akabori reaction quickly detects the presence of arginine (Arg) by converting each Arg to ornithine (Orn). Furthermore, certain amino acids, containing beta-SH, CO2H, and CONH2 groups in their side chain, are susceptible to modification by hydrazine, thereby, providing rapid confirmation of the presence of these amino acid residues. In these preliminary studies, the following oligopeptides were analyzed to demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach; the dipeptide (Trp-Phe), the tripeptide (Tyr-Gly-Gly), the tetrapeptide (Pro-Phe-Gly-Lys), the heptapeptide (Ala-Pro-Arg-Leu-Arg-Phe-Tyr), and a N-terminal blocked tripeptide (N-acetyl-Met-Leu-Phe).  相似文献

The study of gadolinium substitution in small amounts on the saturation magnetization and DC resistivity of nickel-zinc nanoferrite has led to the understanding of the degree of formation of a secondary orthoferrite GdFeO3 phase, the generation of cationic and oxygen vacancies and the dilution of gadolinium in the lattice. The role of secondary phase in modifying the electromagnetic properties has been stressed by making further investigations on the Curie temperature and the activation energies.  相似文献

The detrimental effects of hydrogen and helium on structural materials undergoing irradiation are well documented, if not well understood. There is experimental evidence to suggest that a synergistic effect between the two elements exists, which results in increased damage when both are present. This situation is expected in the next generation of fusion and fission reactors, so a fundamental understanding of these synergistic interactions is needed to predict materials performance. We perform atomistic simulations of hydrogen and helium bubbles in body-centered cubic iron to determine the mechanism behind this effect. We first develop an interatomic potential suitable for describing the interactions between hydrogen and helium. Through analysis of the energetics and structure of these bubbles, we explain the observed synergy as a consequence of bubble growth through helium induced loop punching, aided by the presence of hydrogen, instead of as a direct interaction between hydrogen and helium. The hydrogen benefits from an increased area of free surface on which to bind.  相似文献

Continuous energy supply is critical and important to support oscillating behaviour; otherwise, the oscillator will die. For nonlinear and chaotic circuits, enough energy supply is also important to keep electric devices working. In this paper, Hamilton energy is calculated for dimensionless dynamical system (e.g., the chaotic Lorenz system) using Helmholtz’s theorem. The Hamilton energy is considered as a new variable and then the dynamical system is controlled by using the scheme of energy feedback. It is found that chaos can be suppressed even when intermittent feedback scheme is applied. This scheme is effective to control chaos and to stabilise other dynamical systems.  相似文献

In the title compound, C23H20N2O2S, the central thieno­pyridine ring system is essentially planar, the dihedral angle between the planes of the two rings being 0.3 (2)°. The terminal ethyl carboxyl­ate group is twisted by 26.7 (3)° away from the central ring system. A short intramolecular hydrogen bond involving the amino N atom and the carbonyl O atom [N⋯O = 2.806 (4) Å] forms a pseudo‐six‐membered ring. Significant intermolecular C—H⋯N, C—H⋯O and C—H⋯π interactions contribute strongly to the stability of the structure, along with weak π–π‐stacking interactions.  相似文献
