The objectives of this study were to evaluate the mobility of heavy metals (HMs) in two types of soils (acidic forest soil and neutral agricultural soil) by leaching with calcium chloride solution in column experiments. The screening properties of neutral agricultural soil towards pollution by heavy metals (Ni, Cu, Zn and Cd) are approximately 10 times higher than those of acid forest soil. The neutral agricultural soil, polluted artificially by one pore volume (PV) of an HMs solution of concentration 200 mg L?1, can screen the leaching of these metals over several hundreds of years. The higher apparent desorption rate and per cent desorption of HMs (especially Cd) in acid forest soil indicated a higher potential of intensive migration of the metals across the profile and indicated potential risk of Cd pollution for this type of soil. The latest approach of artificial neural networks to describe transport of HMs in soil has been also evaluated. Using a simple three-layer perceptron topology with three hidden neurons, the experimental data could be simulated. The results suggested that the pH of soil is a major factor controlling the retention of the heavy metals in the soils.  相似文献

Simple cyclic renewable silver amalgam film electrode (Hg(Ag)FE), applied for the determination of gallium(III) using differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry (DP ASV), is presented. The effects of various factors such as: preconcentration potential and time, pulse height, step potential and supporting electrolyte composition are optimised. The calibration graph is linear from 5?nM (0.35?µg?L?1) to 80?nM (5.6?µg?L?1) for a preconcentration time of 60?s, with correlation coefficient of 0.995. For a Hg(Ag)FE with a surface area of 9.9?mm2 the detection limit for a preconcentration time of 120?s is as low as 0.1?µg?L?1. The repeatability of the method at a concentration level of the analyte as low as 3.5?µg?L?1, expressed as RSD is 3.2% (n?=?5). The proposed method was successfully applied by studying the synthetic samples and simultaneously recovery of Ga(III) from spiked aluminium samples.  相似文献

The title compound was synthesized starting from methyl 3,4,6‐tri‐O‐acetyl‐2‐acetamido‐2‐deoxy‐β‐D‐glucopyranoside, oxalyl chloride, and methyl 3,4,6‐tri‐O‐acetyl‐2‐amino‐2‐deoxy‐β‐D‐glucopyranoside. The crystal and molecular structure of the obtained imidazolidine‐4,5‐dione have been determined by X‐ray analysis as well as 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

This study describes application of liquid chromatography coupled with triple quadrupole mass spectrometry (LC‐MS) for evaluation of vitamin C stability, the objective being prediction of the degradation products. Detection was performed with an UV detector (UV‐Vis) in sequence with a triple‐quad mass spectrometer in the multiple reaction mode. The negative ion mode of ESI and MS‐MRM transitions of m/z 175→115 (quantifier) and 175→89 (qualifier) for ascorbic acid was used. All the validation parameters were within the range of acceptance proposed by the Food and Drug Administration. The method was fully validated in terms of linearity, LOD, LOQ, accuracy, and interday precision. Validation experiments revealed good linearity with R2 = 0.999 within the established concentration range, and excellent repeatability (9.3%). The LOD of the method was 0.1524 ng/mL whereas the LOQ was 0.4679 ng/mL. LC‐MS methodology proves to be an improved, simple, and fast approach to determining the content of vitamin C and its degradation products with high sensitivity, selectivity, and resolving power within 6 minutes of analysis.  相似文献

This work describes a novel type of working electrode for use in voltammetry and polarography — the renewable silver liquid amalgam film–modified silver solid amalgam annular band electrode (AgLAF–AgSAE). The electrode is produced by mechanically refreshing the silver liquid amalgam film (AgLAF) before each measurement. The main constituents of the electrode are: a specially constructed silver solid amalgam annular band electrode (AgSAE), two silicon O-rings, silver liquid amalgam and a polypropylene electrode body. Contaminants from the analyzed solution are removed and the AgSAE surface is covered with a thick layer of fresh amalgam while pulling the AgSAE into the sensor body. During movement in the reverse direction AgLAF is formed and homogenized. The time needed to refresh the film is less than 1 s. The electrode is characterized by excellent surface repeatability (~ 1%) and long-term stability (over ten thousand measurement cycles).  相似文献

In this study, 38 samples of expired air were collected and analyzed from 20 non‐smoking volunteers, four passive smokers and 14 smokers (21 women and 17 men). Measurements were carried out using solid‐phase microextraction (SPME) as an isolation and preconcentration technique. The determination and identification were accomplished by gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC/MS). Our data showed that ca 32% of all identified compounds in the breath of healthy non‐smokers were saturated hydrocarbons. In the breath of smoking and passive smoking volunteers hydrocarbons were predominant, but also present were more exogenous analytes such as furan, acetonitrile and benzene than in the breath of non‐smokers. Acetonitrile, furan, 3‐methylfuran, 2,5‐dimethylfuran, 2‐butanone, octane and decane were identified in breath of smoking and passive smoking persons. The aim of this work was construction of the new wavelet function and verification that a continuous wavelet transform with a specially defined dedicated mother wavelet is a useful tool for precise detection of end-point in a potentiometric titration. The proposed algorithm does not require any initial information about the nature or the type of analyte and/or the shape of the titration curve. The signal imperfection, as well as random noise or spikes has no influence on the operation of the procedure.The optimization of the new algorithm was done using simulated curves and next experimental data were considered. In the case of well-shaped and noise-free titration data, the proposed method gives the same accuracy and precision as commonly used algorithms. But, in the case of noisy or badly shaped curves, the presented approach works good (relative error mainly below 2% and coefficients of variability below 5%) while traditional procedures fail. Therefore, the proposed algorithm may be useful in interpretation of the experimental data and also in automation of the typical titration analysis, specially in the case when random noise interfere with analytical signal.  相似文献
