Keldysh formalism for multiple parallel worlds

We present a compact and self-contained review of the recently developed Keldysh formalism for multiple parallel worlds. The formalism has been applied to consistent quantum evaluation of the flows of informational quantities, in particular, to the evaluation of Renyi and Shannon entropy flows. We start with the formulation of the standard and extended Keldysh techniques in a single world in a form convenient for our presentation. We explain the use of Keldysh contours encompassing multiple parallel worlds. In the end, we briefly summarize the concrete results obtained with the method.     

Surface stress effect on the vibration and instability of nanoscale pipes conveying fluid based on a size-dependent Timoshenko beam model

Presented in this paper is a precise investigation of the effect of surface stress on the vibration characteristics and instability of fluid-conveying nanoscale pipes.To this end,the nanoscale pipe is modeled as a Timoshenko nanobeam.The equations of motion of the nanoscale pipe are obtained based on Hamilton's principle and the Gurtin-Murdoch continuum elasticity incorporating the surface stress effect.Afterwards,the generalized differential quadrature method is employed to discretize the governing equations and associated boundary conditions.To what extent important parameters such as the thickness,material and surface stress modulus,residual surface stress,surface density,and boundary conditions influence the natural frequency of nanoscale pipes and the critical velocity of fluid is discussed.

Microwave-assisted Knoevenagel condensation in aqueous over triazine-based microporous network

A high nitrogen-containing triazine-based microporous polymeric (TMP) network was used as an efficient metal-free catalyst for Knoevenagel condensation of ethylcyanoacetate with aromatic aldehydes. The reactions were performed in water as an environmentally benign medium, under microwave irradiation within a short reaction time of 10 min. The conversions of substituted aromatic aldehydes and selectivities for Knoevenagel products were found to be in the ranges of 44–99 and 65–99 %, respectively. The electron-withdrawing substituent showed higher conversion and selectivity as compared to electron-donating substituents. The TMP network can be readily recovered and reused up to three runs without loss in catalytic activity and selectivity.
