We study the Case sum rules, especially C 0 , for general Jacobi matrices. We establish situations where the sum rule is valid. Applications include an extension of Shohats theorem to cases with an infinite point spectrum and a proof that if lim n(a n –1)= and lim nb n = exist and 2<||, then the Szeg condition fails. The enantiomeric resolution and the elution order of (+/-)-trans-7,8-dihydrodiols of benzo[a]pyrene and its 6-fluoro and 6-bromo derivatives were analyzed on three polysaccharide-based columns: Daicel Chiralcel CA-I (cellulose triacetate), OF, and OG [cellulose tris(4-chloro- and 4-methylphenylcarbamate)]. For comparison, the separation of (+/-)-1,1'-bi-2-naphthol was evaluated on the OG and OF columns. Possibly similar interactions of (S)-1,1'-bi-2-naphthol and (7S,8S)-isomers of 6-halo-7,8-dihydroxy-7,8-dihydrobenzo[a]pyrene with the chiral sorbent are suggested.  相似文献

Heavily n‐type doped and several nanometres thick In0.485Ga0.515P layers are necessary for various devices. We studied the delta‐doping of this ternary with tellurium; the layers were grown by metalorganic vapour phase epitaxy (MOVPE), and diethyltelluride was used as the precursor. A maximum Hall sheet concentration of 2.75 × 1013 cm–2 was achieved in our samples grown at 560 °C. The Te profiles were analyzed with secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS), and a very narrow spectrum with a full width at half maximum of 7.5 nm was measured. Over the past 50 years, pentafluorobenzaldehyde has received much attention due to its unique chemical and physical properties as well as its real or potential applications in chemistry of porphyrines, additives, drug delivery and in analytical chemistry. Pentafluorobenzaldehyde is multifunctional aromatic compound containing five atoms of fluorine and one aldehydic function. That is why it can provide nucleophilic substitutions of all or some atoms of fluorine, nucleophilic additions of aldehydic function, “haloform reaction” and some cyclization reactions. This year, it is being the 50th year, since the first synthesis of this compound was published.  相似文献

In the present work, we show for the first time, that N?-carboxymethyllysine is the major product of the in vitro non-enzymatic glycation reaction between fibrillar collagen and glucuronic acid. Dual diffusion membrane system was effectively used for oriented crystal growth of octacalcium phosphate/hydroxyapatite on the biomimetically carboxymethylated collagen fibrils. We hypothesize that the function of biomimetically carboxymethylated collagen is to increase the local concentration of corresponding ions in such a way that a critical nucleus of ions can be formed, leading to the formation of the mineral under specific micro-environment conditions achieved by using diffusion membrane system.  相似文献

A set of m positive integers is called a Diophantine m-tuple if the product of any two of them is one less than a perfect square. It is known that there does not exist a Diophantine sextuple and that there are only finitely many Diophantine quintuples. On the other hand, there are infinitely many Diophantine m-tuples for m=2, 3 and 4. In this paper, we derive asymptotic estimates for the number of Diophantine pairs, triples and quadruples with elements less than given positive integer N. A liquid scintillation counting (LSC) measurement method optimization for the gross α/β activity analysis in drinking waters with different chemical and radionuclide composition was performed. The optimized method was suitable to provide gross radioactivity results in drinking waters with the levels of the accuracy and precision similar to those obtained using other radioactivity screening techniques. Robust LSC results contributed to the calculation of gross α/β activity reference values of EC-JRC interlaboratory comparison water samples in 2012. Some of the most common errors in the determination of the gross radioactivity using the LSC are presented.

The equilibrium structure, stability, and electronic properties of the Al(13)X (X=H,Au,Li,Na,K,Rb,Cs) clusters have been studied using a combination of photoelectron spectroscopy experiment and density functional theory. All these clusters constitute 40 electron systems with 39 electrons contributed by the 13 Al atoms and 1 electron contributed by each of the X (X=H,Au,Li,Na,K,Rb,Cs) atom. A systematic study allows us to investigate whether all electrons contributed by the X atoms are alike and whether the structure, stability, and properties of all the magic clusters are similar. Furthermore, quantitative agreement between the calculated and the measured electron affinities and vertical detachment energies enable us to identify the ground state geometries of these clusters both in neutral and anionic configurations.  相似文献

Glycation (or non-enzymatic glycosylation) is a common non-enzymatic covalent modification of human proteins. Glucose, the highest concentrated monosaccharide in blood, can reversibly react with amino groups of proteins to form Schiff bases that can rearrange to form relatively stable Amadori products. These can be further oxidized to advanced glycation end products (AGEs). Here, we analyzed the glycation patterns of human serum albumin (HSA) in plasma samples obtained from five patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Therefore, glycated peptides from a tryptic digest of plasma were enriched with m-aminophenylboronic acid (mAPBA) affinity chromatography. The glycated peptides were then further separated in the second dimension by RP-HPLC coupled on-line to an electrospray ionization (ESI) tandem mass spectrometer (MS/MS). Altogether, 18 Amadori peptides, encompassing 40% of the HSA sequence, were identified. The majority of the peptides were detected and relatively quantified in all five samples with a high reproducibility among the replicas. Eleven Lys-residues were glycated at similar quantities in all samples, with glycation site Lys549 (KAm(Glc)QTALVELVK) being the most abundant. In conclusion, the established mAPBA/nanoRP-HPLC-ESI-MS/MS approach could reproducibly identify and quantify glycation sites in plasma samples, potentially useful in diagnosis and therapeutic control.  相似文献
