Anchoring groups are extremely important in controlling the performance of dye‐sensitized solar cells (DSCs). The design and characterization of sensitizers with new anchoring groups, in particular non‐carboxylic acid groups, has become a recent focus of DSC research. Herein, new donor? π? acceptor zinc? porphyrin dyes with a pyridine ring as an anchoring group have been designed and synthesized for applications in DSCs. Photophysical and electrochemical investigations demonstrated that the pyridine ring worked effectively as an anchoring group for the porphyrin sensitizers. DSCs that were based on these new porphyrins showed an overall power‐conversion efficiency of about 4.0 % under full sunlight (AM 1.5G, 100 mW cm?2).  相似文献

A further study of the alkaloid constituents of Aconitum forrestii led to the isolation of three new C19‐diterpenoid alkaloids, named 14‐acetoxy‐8‐O‐methylsachaconitine ( 1 ), 14‐acetoxyscaconine ( 2 ), and 8‐O‐ethylcammaconine ( 3 ). Quantum chemistry methods are applied to investigate the electronic structures, injection and transport properties, absorption and phosphorescence mechanism of a series of Iridium (III) complexes [Ir(C∧N)2(L)2]+ (L = 4‐pyCO2Et; C∧N = 2‐phenylpyridine, 1 ; 2‐(4‐tolyl)pyridine, 2 ; 2‐(4,6‐difluorophenyl)pyridimato, 3 ; benzoquinoline, 4 ), which may be used as emitters on organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). Calculations of ionization potentials and electron affinities are used to evaluate the injection abilities of holes and electrons into these complexes. The reorganization energy (λ) calculations show that the four complexes are suitable as emitters in OLEDs. The absorptions and emissions can be tuned by adding substituent to the ppy ligand or extending the π‐conjugation effect of the C∧N ligand, and quantum yields of 1 – 4 are investigated. In addition, no solvent effect is observed in the absorption and emission spectra. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

We describe a rapid and convenient colorimetric method for the detection of oxidative DNA damage caused by peroxynitrite (ONOO?) using unmodified gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). AuNPs are stable in the presence of single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) against the aggregation induced by a high ionic strength. If adsorbed ssDNA are cleaved by ONOO? to form smaller fragments, the AuNPs rapidly aggregate due to electrostatic attraction. As a result, the color of the solution changes from red to blue, and this can be seen with bare eyes. We also have evaluated the activity of the antioxidants gallic acid, ascorbic acid and caffeic acid to scavenge ONOO?. This method therefore also can be applied to screen for anti-oxidation drugs and agents.

A general and practical one‐pot synthesis of naphthopyran derivatives using hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide (HTMAB) as catalyst (10 mol%) is described. This method provides several advantages such as neutral conditions, high yields and simple workup procedure. The catalyst is low cost, facile, active, environmentally friendly, and reusable. To obtain information on the environmental impact of materials eluted from volcanic ashes of Mt. Oyama, Miyake Island, which erupted in July 2000, the dissolution behaviours of heavy metals and rare-earth elements from the volcanic ashes were examined. The most important characteristic of the Mt. Oyama eruption is that sulphur dioxide (SO2) gas has been continuously released, and all persons living on Miyake Island have been required to evacuate. To estimate in terms of the volcanic eruption using SO2 gas, the ash nature in Mt. Usu, Hokkaido, was also examined and compared with that in Mt. Oyama. When rain water mixed the ashes, the water from the ashes of Mt. Oyama became acidic because of the sulphuric acid. Therefore, SO2 gas in Mt. Oyama can accelerate the dissolution of protons and heavy metals in the ashes, whereas the rain water in Mt. Usu was not acidic and the dissolution of the heavy metals was not so evident compared with that in the case of Mt. Oyama. With this sulphuric acid, heavy metals such as As, Cd, Pb and Hg in the ashes in Mt. Oyama easily dissolved owing to the low pH. The ashes in Mt. Oyama had been released for eight years and the amount of fallen ashes was estimated to be 33 billion tons. The weights of the harmful heavy metals in the volcanic ashes, such as As, Cd, Pb and Hg, were estimated to be 3.8?×?102, 1.3?×?103, 1.1?×?103 and 29?kg, respectively, and these heavy metals were dissolved and diluted in seawater. Therefore, the concentration and species (chemical form) of these metals should be carefully monitored in the future. Moreover, SO2 gas, which has a direct effect on human health and has been monitored continuously, causes other effects, such as facilitation of metal ion elution and rock aeration.  相似文献

The synthesis of a series of chiral Pd(L)PyBr2 (3a3e) and Pd(L)PyCl2 (4d and 4e) complexes from l-phenylalanine is presented (L = (S)-3-allyl-4-benzyl-1-(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-imidazolin-2-ylidene (a), (S)-4-benzyl-1-(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-3-(naphthalen-2-ylmethyl)imidazolin-2-ylidene (b), (S)-4-benzyl-3-(biphenyl-4-ylmethyl)-1-(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazolin-2-ylidene (c), (S)-4-benzyl-1-(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-3-(naphthalen-1-ylmethyl)imidazolin-2-ylidene (d) or (S)-4-benzyl-1-(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)-3-(2,4,6-trimethylbenzyl)imidazolin-2-ylidene (e). The complexes were characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods, and the X-ray crystal structures of 3a3c and 4d are reported. In each case, there is a slightly distorted square-planar geometry around palladium, which is surrounded by imidazolylidene, two trans halide ligands and a pyridine ligand. There are π–π stacking interactions in the crystal structures of these complexes. Complex 3a showed good catalytic activity in the Cu-free Sonogashira coupling reaction under aerobic conditions.  相似文献

Four 3D lanthanide organic frameworks from potassium pyrazine‐2, 3, 5, 6‐tetracarboxylate (K4pztc) or potassium pyridine‐2, 3, 5, 6‐tetracarboxylate (K4pdtc), namely, {[KEu(pztc)(H2O)2] · H2O}n ( 1 ), {[KTb(pztc)(H2O)2] · 1.25H2O}n ( 2 ), {[KLn(pdtc)(H2O)] · H2O}n [Ln = Gd ( 3 ), Ho ( 4 )], were synthesized by reaction of the corresponding lanthanide oxides with K4pztc or K4pdtc in presence of HCl under hydrothermal conditions, and characterized by elemental analysis, TGA, IR and fluorescence spectroscopy as well as X‐ray diffraction. In complexes 1 and 2 , the dodecadentate chelator pztc4– links four LnIII ions and four KI ions. The coordination mode of the pztc4– ligand is reported for the first time herein. Complexes 3 and 4 are isostructural with earlier reported Nd, Dy, Er complexes. Moreover, the EuIII and TbIII complexes exhibit the characteristic luminescence.  相似文献

Tigecycline, a novel intravenously administered glycylcycline antibiotic, currently plays a key role in the management of complicated multiorganism infections. However, current liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry methods briefly describe parameters and the only reported internal standard was sometimes difficult to obtain. In our study, an updated liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry method for the quantitative analysis of tigecycline in human serum was developed. Sample preparation involved precipitation with 20% trichloroacetic acid. Chromatographic separation of tigecycline and tetracycline (internal standard) was achieved on a Hypersil GOLD C18 column using gradient elution. The selected reaction monitoring transitions were performed at m/z 586.1→513.2 for tigecycline and m/z 445.1→410.2 for tetracycline. The assay was linear over the concentration range of 5–2000 ng/mL. The intra‐ and interday precisions at three concentration levels (10, 100, and 1600 ng/mL) were <15% and their accuracies were within the range of 95.1–106.1%. The mean recovery ranged from 94.3 to 105.6% and the matrix effect from 92.1 to 97.6%. Tigecycline was stable under all tested conditions. This validated method was successfully applied to a pharmacokinetic study in critically ill patients. The data demonstrated that our method allows quantification of tigecycline in serum in a quick and reliable manner for widespread application.  相似文献
