On the stability of Riemannian manifold with parallel spinors

Inspired by the recent work [HHM03], we prove two stability results for compact Riemannian manifolds with nonzero parallel spinors. Our first result says that Ricci flat metrics which also admit nonzero parallel spinors are stable (in the direction of changes in conformal structures) as the critical points of the total scalar curvature functional. Our second result, which is a local version of the first one, shows that any metric of positive scalar curvature cannot lie too close to a metric with nonzero parallel spinor. We also prove a rigidity result for special holonomy metrics. In the case of SU(m) holonomy, the rigidity result implies that scalar flat deformations of Calabi-Yau metric must be Calabi-Yau. Finally we explore the connection with a positive mass theorem of [D03], which presents another approach to proving these stability and rigidity results. Li3N、Mg3N2、Ca3N2催化作用的比较和分析

 Li₃N、Mg₃N₂和Ca₃N₂是高温高压下以hBN为原料合成cBN的催化剂。在实验中发现它们对常压高温下生成hBN的反应也表现出催化作用。对比了三种氮化物催化效果的差异，发现三种氮化物都只有在熔融状态下才能表现出催化效果，以及三种氮化物对生成hBN反应的催化效果与它们在高温高压下合成cBN反应的催化效果次序相似。提出了对合成hBN有催化作用的化合物也将对合成cBN表现出催化作用的观点。     

Ultraviolet Luminescence in Mg0.12Zn0.88O Alloy Films

We investigate the origin of ultraviolet （UV） emission from Mg0.12 Zn0.88 O alloy thin films with a wurtzite structure fabricated on c-plane Al2O3 substrates by plasma assisted molecular beam epitaxy. At room temperature, the absorption edge and UV emission band of the Mg0.12Zn0.88O film shift to high-energy side compared with ZnO films. Temperature dependence of the photoluminescence spectra shows that the UV emission is composed of free exciton and neutral donor bound exciton emissions. Two-step dissociation processes of the UV emission are observed with the increasing temperature. The thermal quenching mechanism is attributed to the dissociation of the free exciton from the neutral donor bound exciton in the low temperature region and the dissociation of free electron and hole from the free exciton in the high temperature region.

用二次阳极氧化法制备纳米多孔氧化铝板,然后用磁控溅射方式在纳米多孔氧化铝板表面镀金得到介孔网络电路,对该介孔网络电路进行输运测量,发现其具有非线性电阻.     

浅谈家用吊扇的调速方法

家用吊扇的核心部分是单相异步电动机,此绕组如图1,有一主绕组(工作绕组)与一串联电容器C的副绕组(启动绕组)相并联.这样做可使二绕组的电流在相位上相差90°,从而形成旋转磁场.转子的转动过程与三相异步电动机相似.     

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of a Novel Organic Adduct Nonlinear Optical Material: 3,5-Dinitrobenzonic Acid·ethanolamine (3,5-DNBEA)

The title compound (C2H7NO·C7H4N2O6) has been obtained by the reaction of etha- nolamine with 3,5-dinitrobenzoic acid in deionized water at room temperature. The crystal crystal- lizes in orthorhombic, space group P212121 with a = 6.048(2), b = 9.146(3), c = 21.955(7)(A), C9H11N3O7, Mr = 273.21, Z = 4, V = 1214.3(7)(A)3, Dc = 1.494 g/cm3, F(000) = 568, μ(MoKα) = 0.131 mm-1, R1 = 0.0338 and wR2 = 0.0497. The new organic adduct is composed of one ethanolamine and one 3,5-dinitrobenzoic acid, which are linked up by O-H…O and N-H…O types of hydrogen bonds to form a nine-membered ring and an eleven-membered ring, extending into a one-dimensional network structure.
