The spectra of high-pT fragments have been measured at CM 90° in 800 A MeV C + C collisions for pT up to 1.8 GeV/c (proton), 2.5 GeV/c (deuteron) and 2.8 GeV/c (triton) at the Bevalac. Invariant cross sections were measured down to eight orders of magnitude lower than those for production of low momentum protons. The proton spectrum shows a significant deviation from the Boltzmann shape in the high-energy region. The spectra of deuterons and tritons are explained well by, respectively, squaring and cubing the observed proton spectra. 相似文献

Power-free sequential injection for microchip immunoassay toward point-of-care testing 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
This paper presents a simple fluid handling technique for microchip immunoassay. Necessary solutions were sequentially injected into a microchannel by air-evacuated poly(dimethylsiloxane), and were passively regulated by capillary force at the inlet opening. For heterogeneous immunoassay, microchips are potentially useful for reduction of sample consumption and assay time. However, most of the previously reported microchips have limitations in their use because of the needs for external power sources for fluid handling. In this paper, an on-chip heterogeneous immunofluorescence assay without such an external power source is demonstrated. The microchip consisting of poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) and glass has a simple structure, and therefore is suitable for single-use applications. Necessary solutions were sequentially injected into a microchannel in an autonomous fashion with the power-free pumping technique, which exploits the high solubility and the rapid diffusion of air in PDMS. For deionized water, this method yielded flow rates of 3-5 nL s-1 with reproducibility of 4-10%. The inlet opening of the microchannel functioned as a passive valve to hold the solution when the flow was finished. Rabbit immunoglobulin G (rIgG) and human C-reactive protein (CRP) were detected using the microchannel walls as reaction sites. With the sample consumption of 1 microL and the assay time of approximately 20 min including the antibody immobilization step, the sandwich immunoassay methods for rIgG and CRP exhibited the limits of detection of 0.21 nM (0.21 fmol) and 0.42 nM (0.42 fmol), respectively. 相似文献

The reaction of 3,8‐bis(diazo)‐2,2,4,4,7,7,9,9‐octamethyldecane ( 5 ) with elemental selenium in 1,8‐diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec‐7‐ene (DBU) at 130°C yielded 1,2‐di‐tert‐butyl‐3,3,6,6‐tetramethylcyclohexene ( 1 ) (64%) and trans‐3,8‐di‐tert‐butyl‐4,4,7,7‐tetramethyl‐1,2‐diselenocane ( 8 ) (13%), while that of 5 with elemental sulfur in DBU gave trans‐3, 8‐di‐tert‐butyl‐4,4,7,7‐tetramethyl‐1,2‐dithiocane ( 9 ) (77%). The reaction of 3,9‐bis(diazo)‐2,2,4,4,8,8,10,10‐octamethylundecane ( 6 ) with elemental selenium in DBU at 80°C gave a cyclic triselenide, cis‐4,10‐di‐tert‐butyl‐5,5,9,9‐tetramethyl‐1,2,3‐triselenecane ( 11 ), in 15% yield as the only identifiable product. YbRh2Si2 has advanced to a prototype material for investigating physics related to the Kondo effect. An optimization of the synthesis resulted in single crystals of extraordinary crystalline quality. At the atomic scale, we utilize scanning tunneling microscopy to study the topography of cleaved single crystals. A structural and chemical analysis was conducted by highly accurate x-ray diffraction and wavelength dispersive x-ray spectroscopy measurements. The latter indicate a homogeneity range of the YbRh2Si2 phase between approximately 40.0–40.2 at.% Rh. For our high-quality samples the number of defects found on the atomic scale (of the order of 0.3% of the visible lattice sites) is in quantitative agreement with a very small off-stoichiometry within this homogeneity range. Comparing our results for these samples allows an assignment of the structural defects observed at the cleaved surfaces to Rh occupying Si sites and, even less numerous Si in Rh sites. Such an analysis is hampered for samples of lesser quality, but there seem to be numerous empty Si-sites. Based on these observations the results of scanning tunneling spectroscopy can be analyzed in further detail and provide insight into the Kondo physics. 相似文献

Anhydrous silicophosphoric acid glass with an approximate composition of H5Si2P9O29 was synthesized and its thermal and proton-conducting properties were characterized. Despite exhibiting a glass transition at 192 °C, the supercooled liquid could be handled as a solid up to 280 °C owing to its high viscosity. The glass and its melt exhibited proton conduction with a proton transport number of ∼1. Although covalent O−H bonds were weakened by relatively strong hydrogen bonding, the proton conductivity (4×10−4 S cm−1 at 276 °C) was considerably lower than that of phosphoric acid. The high viscosity of the melt was due to the tight cross-linking of phosphate ion chains by six-fold-coordinated Si atoms. The low proton conductivity was attributed to the trapping of positively charged proton carriers around anionic SiO6 units (expressed as (SiO6/2)2−) to compensate for the negative charges. 相似文献
