In this work, we introduced a diblock copolymer (dBC), i.e., polystyrene‐b‐poly(hydroxyl ethyl acrylate) (PS‐b‐PHEA) as a compatibilizer to enhance interfacial adhesion between PI and zeolite in PI/Zeolite/dBC (1/0.1/0.05 wt%) membrane for gas separation. FT‐IR spectroscopy showed the formation of hydrogen bonding interactions of the carbonyl and the hydroxyl in dBC with both PI and zeolite. The differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) study showed that the glass transition temperature (Tg) of PI increased upon the introduction of dBC, indicating specific interactions in the mixed matrix membranes. The gas permeabilities of H2, N2, O2, and CO2 through PI/zeolite 5A/dBC membranes were reduced but the permselectivity were increased compared to neat PI membrane. Size effect of silver nano particles on the photophysical properties of 2,3-bis(chloromethyl)anthracene-1,4,9,10-tetraone (BCMAT) have been investigated using optical absorption and fluorescence emission techniques. Silver NPs of different sizes have been prepared by two different methods. Quenching of fluorescence of BCMAT has been found to increase with decrease in the size of the silver NPs. Stern–Volmer quenching constants have also been calculated.  相似文献

Near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy is an important tool for predicting the internal qualities of fruits. Using aquaphotomics, spectral changes between linearly polarized and unpolarized light were assessed on 200 commercially grown yellow-fleshed kiwifruit (Actinidia chinensis var. chinensis ‘Zesy002’). Measurements were performed on different configurations of unpeeled (intact) and peeled (cut) kiwifruit using a commercial handheld NIR instrument. Absorbance after applying standard normal variate (SNV) and second derivative Savitzky–Golay filters produced different spectral features for all configurations. An aquagram depicting all configurations suggests that linearly polarized light activated more free water states and unpolarized light activated more bound water states. At depth (≥1 mm), after several scattering events, all radiation is expected to be fully depolarized and interactions for incident polarized or unpolarized light will be similar, so any observed differences are attributable to the surface layers of the fruit. Aquagrams generated in terms of the fruit soluble solids content (SSC) were similar for all configurations, suggesting the SSC in fruit is not a contributing factor here.  相似文献

Aqueous fluorescent dispersions containing dyed acrylic-based copolymer nanoparticles possess significant credentials concerning green technology as compared to those prepared with the conventional vinyl-based monomers in textile and garment sectors; however, their essential textile fastness properties are yet to achieve. In the present work, a series of acrylic nanodispersions were synthesized by varying the moles ratio of benzyl methacrylate (BZMA), methyl methacrylate (MMA), and 2-hydroxypropyl methacrylate (HPMA) monomers. This was done to study their effect on dye aggregation and dyed polymer particles agglomeration. FT-IR spectral analysis showed the formation of polymer structures, while Malvern Analyzer, Transmission Electron Microscopy, and Scanning Electron Microscopy analysis suggested that the particles are spherical in shape and their size is less than 200 nm. The obtained nanodispersions were later applied on cotton fabrics for the evaluation of wash fastness and colour migration. Premier color scan spectrophotometer and zeta potential measurement studies suggested that colour migration of printed cotton fabrics increased with an increasing agglomeration of particles and it was also observed to increase with the moles ratio of MMA and zeta potentials.  相似文献

Søren Brøgger Christensen isolated and characterized the cell-penetrant sesquiterpene lactone Thapsigargin (TG) from the fruit Thapsia garganica. In the late 1980s/early 1990s, TG was supplied to multiple independent and collaborative groups. Using this TG, studies documented with a large variety of mammalian cell types that TG rapidly (i.e., within seconds to a minute) penetrates cells, resulting in an essentially irreversible binding and inhibiting (IC50~10 nM) of SERCA 2b calcium uptake pumps. If exposure to 50–100 nM TG is sustained for >24–48 h, prostate cancer cells undergo apoptotic death. TG-induced death requires changes in the cytoplasmic Ca2+, initiating a calmodulin/calcineurin/calpain-dependent signaling cascade that involves BAD-dependent opening of the mitochondrial permeability transition pore (MPTP); this releases cytochrome C into the cytoplasm, activating caspases and nucleases. Chemically unmodified TG has no therapeutic index and is poorly water soluble. A TG analog, in which the 8-acyl groups is replaced with the 12-aminododecanoyl group, afforded 12-ADT, retaining an EC50 for killing of <100 nM. Conjugation of 12-ADT to a series of 5–8 amino acid peptides was engineered so that they are efficiently hydrolyzed by only one of a series of proteases [e.g., KLK3 (also known as Prostate Specific Antigen); KLK2 (also known as hK2); Fibroblast Activation Protein Protease (FAP); or Folh1 (also known as Prostate Specific Membrane Antigen)]. The obtained conjugates have increased water solubility for systemic delivery in the blood and prevent cell penetrance and, thus, killing until the TG-prodrug is hydrolyzed by the targeting protease in the vicinity of the cancer cells. We summarize the preclinical validation of each of these TG-prodrugs with special attention to the PSMA TG-prodrug, Mipsagargin, which is in phase II clinical testing.  相似文献

A simple and convenient method is developed for the synthesis of new O,O‐diethyl O‐(substituted tetrazolo[1,5‐a]quinolin‐4‐yl)methyl phosphorothioates, which has been synthesized for the first time from tetrazolo[1,5‐a] quinolines via tetrazolo[1,5‐a]quinolin‐4‐ylmethanol derivatives.
