Gas-phase photoelectron spectroscopy and density functional theory have been used to investigate the electronic structures of open-shell bent vanadocene compounds with chelating dithiolate ligands, which are minimum molecular models of the active sites of pyranopterin Mo/W enzymes. The compounds Cp2V(dithiolate) [where dithiolate is 1,2-ethenedithiolate (S2C2H2) or 1,2-benzenedithiolate (bdt), and Cp is cyclopentadienyl] provide access to a 17-electron, d1 electron configuration at the metal center. Comparison with previously studied Cp2M(dithiolate) complexes, where M is Ti and Mo (respectively d0 and d2 electron configurations), allows evaluation of d0, d1, and d2 electronic configurations of the metal center that are analogues for the metal oxidation states present throughout the catalytic cycle of these enzymes. A "dithiolate-folding effect" that involves an interaction between the vanadium d orbitals and sulfur p orbitals is shown to stabilize the d1 metal center, allowing the d1 electron configuration and geometry to act as a low-energy electron pathway intermediate between the d0 and d2 electron configurations of the enzyme.  相似文献

This paper deals with the drying behavior of poly(vinyl alcohol) aqueous solution containing an active substance and placed into a Petri box. The objective is to reduce the drying time while respecting some constraints. To succeed, it is important to understand complex mechanisms governing heat and mass transfers. During the drying, the product thickness shrinks and its properties evolve. Drying kinetics in convective and infrared radiation are presented.  相似文献

Photoconductivity measurements are carried out in this work for single crystals of Tl4S3 compound by using both pulsed excitation (a.c) and steady state (a.c) methods in order to elucidate the nature of photoconductivity (PC) in this compound. Results are reported in the temperature range from 77 to 300 K, excitation intensity range from 1800 to 3300 Lux, applied voltage range from 8 to 14 V, and wavelength range from 840 to 1450 nm. Both of the ac‐photoconductivity (ac‐PC) and the spectral distribution of the photocurrent are studied at different values of light intensity, applied voltage and temperature. Dependencies of carrier lifetime on light intensity, applied voltage and temperature are also investigated as results of the ac‐PC measurements. This review article highlights part of the research activity of the C’Durable team at IRCELYON in the field of sustainable chemistry. This review presents a landscape of the work performed on the valorization of lignocellulosic biopolymers. These studies intend to transform cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin into valuable molecules. The methodology usually consists in evaluating the behavior of the biopolymers in the absence of catalyst under various conditions (solvent, temperature), and then to assess the influence of a catalyst, most often a heterogeneous catalyst, on the reactivity. The most significant results obtained on the upgrading of cellulose and lignin, which have been mainly investigated in the team, will be presented with an opening on studies involving raw lignocellulose.  相似文献

Transmetallation of the dilithium salt of (3,5‐dimethyphenyl­amino)(isodicyclopentadienyl)dimethylsilane by treatment with zirconium tetrachloride in a 2:1 ratio leads to the substitution of all four chloride ligands. With the applied stoichiometry, the title complex, [Zr(C20H25NSi)2]·C4H10O, was obtained and crystallized from diethyl ether. X‐ray diffraction characterization showed that both isodi­cyclo­penta­dienyl ligands (alternatively called 4,5,6,7‐tetrahydro‐4,7‐methano‐1H‐indene) are complexed to the metal on their exo face in a completely stereoselective manner and that they are η5‐bonded to the Zr atom.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the mathematical justification of the Bending-Gradient theory which is considered as the extension of the Reissner-Mindlin theory (or the First Order Shear Deformation Theory) to heterogeneous plates. In order to rigorously assess the well-posedness of the Bending-Gradient problems, we first assume that the compliance tensor related to the generalized shear force is positive definite. We define the functional spaces to which the variables of the theory belong, then state and prove the existence and uniqueness theorems of solutions of the Bending-Gradient problems for clamped and free plates, as well as for simply supported plates. The obtained results are afterward extended to the general case, i.e., when the compliance tensor related to generalized shear forces is not definite.  相似文献

The Tl2S compound was prepared in a single crystal form using a special local technique, and the obtained crystals were analysed by X-ray diffraction. For the resultant crystals, the electrical properties (electrical conductivity and Hall effect) and steady-state photoconductivity were elucidated in this work. The electrical measurements extend from 170 to 430 K, where it was found that σ = 8.82 × 10−5 Sm−1 when current flow direction makes right angle to the cleavage plane of the crystals. In the same range of temperatures, it was found that σ = 4.73 × 10−5 Sm−1 when the current flow is parallel to the cleavage plane. In line with the investigated range of temperatures, the widths of the band gaps were calculated and discussed as also the results of the electrical conductivity and Hall effect measurements. In addition, the anisotropy of the electrical conductivity (σ /σ ) for the obtained crystals was also studied in this work. Finally the photosensitivity was calculated for different levels of illumination as a result of the photoconductivity measurements, which showed that the recombination process in Tl2S single crystals is a monomolecular process.   相似文献

A mass spectrometer was coupled to high-performance ligand-exchange liquid chromatography (HPLEC) for simultaneous analysis of stress associated solutes such as proline, hydroxyproline, methylproline, glycine betaine and trigonelline extracted from leaves of drought stressed oaks and an internal standard namely N-acetylproline. Methanol/chloroform/water extracts were analyzed using an Aminex HPX-87C column and specifically quantified by the positive ion mode of an electrospray ionisation-mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) in single ion monitoring (SIM) mode. The recovery of N-acetyl proline added to oak leaf extracts ranged from 85.2 to 122.1% for an intra-day study. Standard calibration curves showed good linearity in the measured range from 0.3125 to 10 μmol L−1 with the lowest correlation coefficient of 0.99961 for trigonelline. The advantages of this alternative procedure, compared to previously published methods using fluorescence or amperometric detections, are the simultaneous and direct detection of osmoprotectants in a single chromatographic run, a minimal sample preparation, a good specificity and reduced limits of quantification, ranging from 0.1 to 0.6 μmol L−1. Fifty-six days of water deficit exposure resulted in increased foliar free proline levels (2.4-fold, P < 0.001, 155 μmol g−1 FW) and glycine betaine contents (2.5-fold, P < 0.05, 175 μmol g−1 FW) of drought stressed oak compared to control.  相似文献

Summary : Acrylic monomers are important intermediates for the chemical industry. Especially acrylic acid (AA) is the basis for various reactions, such as polymerizations and esterifications and is, therefore, responsible for high product diversity. Spontaneous polymerization is a safety problem during the transportation and storage of acrylic monomers. In the production process, polymerization leads to blockages in the apparatus. For the prevention of these issues, special stabilizer systems are used such as hydroquinone monomethyl ether (MeHQ)/oxygen and phenothiazine (PTZ). The reactions of these stabilizer systems are not well understood at the moment. Therefore a lot of expertise and experience are necessary to guarantee safe handling. In this paper some methods for the investigation of stability related reaction kinetics are presented. A better comprehension of the mechanism of the polymerization inhibition is generated by the kinetic simulation with these data.  相似文献
