Polymer colloids based on 3‐O‐methacryloyl‐1,2:5,6‐di‐O‐isopropylidene‐α‐D ‐glucofuranose (3‐MDG) and butyl acrylate (BA) were prepared via free radical mini‐emulsion polymerization. The kinetic and colloidal features of the copolymerization were investigated. The final particle size (D) of the sugar latexes is inversely proportional to the concentration of the anionic emulsifier (sodium dodecyl sulphate, SDS) and the non‐ionic one (alkyl polyglucoside, APG). It was also found that D is independent of the concentration of either the water‐soluble initiator (potassium persulfate, KPS), or the oil‐soluble initiator (2,2′‐azobisisobutyronitrile, AIBN). The rate of mini‐emulsion polymerization is lower in comparison with the conventional emulsion polymerization under the same conditions. The polymerization rate (Rp) and the total number of particles (Np) are proportional to the 0.72th and 0.93th power of the SDS, and to the 1.40th and 2.22th of the APG concentration. Following reaction orders, 0.79/0.06 were obtained for Rp/Np versus the concentration of KPS, and 0.22/?0.01 for AIBN, respectively. Copyright © 2004 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Attempts were made to synthesize poly(ether-sulfone)s from aliphatic diols or bissilylated diols on the one hand, and 4,4′-dichlorodiphenylsulfone or 4,4′-difluorodiphenylsulfone on the other hand. The reaction conditions and the catalyst were varied. Polycondensations of silylated diols with 4,4′-difluorodiphenylsulfone and powdered K2 CO3 in N-methylpyr-rolidone proved to give the best results. Using silylated isosorbide and isomannide as mono-mers chiral poly(ether-sulfone)s were prepared. GPC measurements indicate weight-average molecular weights in the range of 27×103–200×103. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

A new series of N-phthaloylglycineate (N-phthgly) ternary complexes of cobalt(II) and nickel(II) with imidazole (imi), N-methylimidazole (mimi) and 2,2′-bipyridyl (bipy) have been synthesized and characterized by elementary analyses, IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis. X-ray crystal structure analyses of the three complexes of [Co(mimi)2(N-phthgly)2] (1), [Co(bipy)(OH2)4](N-phthgly)2 (2) and [Ni(imi)2(N-phthgly)2(OHCH3)2] (3) were also carried out. In complex (1), the Co(II) exists in a distorted tetrahedral enviroment, where two nitrogen atoms of two methylimidazole molecules and two oxygen atoms of the carboxylate group of two N-phthaloylglycinate molecules are coordinated. On the other hand, in complex (2) the cobalt atom coordinates a 2,2′-bipyridine molecule and four water oxygen atoms forming a distorted octahedral conformation. A molecule of N-phthaloylglycinate is connected by van der waals contact and H-bonds. For complex (3), the nickel atom is surrounded by four oxygens (two oxygens of two different N-phthaloylglycinate molecules and two of methanol ligand) in the basal plane of octahedron along with two imidazole nitrogen atoms at the apical positions. Strong intramolecular H-bond exists between the uncoordinated carboxylic oxygen of the N-phthaloylglycinate ligand and the O–H of the methanol group.  相似文献

The reactions of substituted furo[3,2-b]pyrrole-5-carboxhydrazides 1 with 5-arylfuran-2-carboxaldehydes 2, 4,5-disubstituted furan-2-carboxaldehydes 3 and thiophene-2-carboxaldehyde 4 has been studied. The advantage of microwave irradiation on some of these reactions was reflected in the reduced reaction time and increased yields. Reactions of 1 with 4-substituted 1,3-oxazol-5(4H)-ones 11 led to diacylhydrazines 13 or to imidazole derivatives 14 depending on the temperature. 1,2,4-Triazole-3-thione 17 was synthesized by two-step reaction of 1 with phenylisothiocyanate and subsequent base-catalyzed cyclization of thiosemicarbazide 16. The effects of hydrazones 5–10 on inhibition of photosynthetic electron transport in spinach chloroplasts and chlorophyll content in the antialgal suspensions of Chlorella vulgaris were investigated.  相似文献

A study of the absorption spectra of the food colourants Tartrazine (E-102), Amaranth (E-123) and Curcumin (E-100) in various organic solvents and pH media, have been carried out. In addition, the spectral behaviour in aqueous micellar systems of anionic, cationic and non-ionic surfactants, as well as beta-cyclodextrin, was investigated. Analytical methods are proposed for the determination of the three dyes in mixtures without any prior separation step, by the application of the derivative technique to the normal absorption spectra, based on the use of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) in 0.1 M NaOH, over the concentration range 2-50 mug ml(-1). The methods are applied for determining the three dyes in commercial food products.  相似文献

A capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) method with ultraviolet-visible detection has been established and validated for the determination of five phenothiazines: thiazinamium methylsulfate, promazine hydrochloride, chlorpromazine hydrochloride, thioridazine hydrochloride, and promethazine hydrochloride in human urine. Optimum separation was obtained on a 64.5 cm x 75 microm bubble cell capillary using a buffer containing 150 mM tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane and 25% acetonitrile at pH 8.2, with temperature and voltage of 25 degrees C and 20 kV, respectively. Naphazoline hydrochloride was used as an internal standard. Field-amplified sample injection (FASI) has been applied to improve the sensitivity of the detection. Considering the influence of parameters affecting the on-line preconcentration (nature of preinjection plug, sample solvent composition, injection times, and injection voltage) and due to the significant interactions among them, in this paper we propose for the first time the application of a multivariate approach to carry out the study. The optimized conditions were as follows: preinjection plug of water for 7 s at 50 mbar, electrokinetic injection for 40 s at 6.2 kV, and 32 microm of H3PO4 in the sample solvent. Also, a solid-phase extraction (SPE) procedure is developed to obtain low detection limits and an adequate selectivity for urine samples. The combination of SPE and FASI-CZE-UV allows adequate linearities and recoveries, low detection limits (from 2 to 5 ng/mL), and satisfactory precisions (3.0-7.2% for an intermediate RSD %).  相似文献

The existence of a cathodic EOF (electroosmotic flow) in the case of a porous graphitic carbon (PGC) partially packed column has been demonstrated. Then, the ability of PGC to afford electroosmosis has been brought to the fore with a fully PGC packed column. Experimental data have shown that PGC particles are negatively charged and their electrophoretic mobility has been evaluated. In order to investigate the conditions of existence of EOF different mobile phases have been tested. An EOF occurs when the conductivity of the PGC packed column is larger than the conductivity of an empty fused-silica capillary operating in the same conditions i.e. when the PGC participates in the electric conduction. Since the local electric fields in the two segments of the column are different, an evaluation of the electroosmotic mobility is not possible and the effect of the operational parameters such as the composition of the mobile phase (acetonitrile ratio and total ionic strength) has been studied in term of electroosmotic velocity V(eo).  相似文献
