The IR spectra of complexes of water with nitrogen molecules in the range of the symmetric (nu(1)) and antisymmetric (nu(3)) bands of H(2)O have been studied in helium droplets. The infrared intensities of the nu(3) and nu(1) modes of H(2)O were found to be larger by factors of 1.3 and 2, respectively, in the N(2)-H(2)O complexes. These factors are smaller than those obtained in recent theoretical calculations. The conformation of the N(2)-H(2)O complex was estimated. Spectra and IR intensities of the (N(2))(2)-H(2)O and N(2)-(H(2)O)(2) complexes were also obtained and their structures are discussed.  相似文献

Chemical biology can be defined as the study of biological phenomena from a chemical approach. Based on the analysis of relevant biological phenomena and their structural foundation, unsolved problems are identified and tackled through a combination of chemistry and biology. Thus, new synthetic methods and strategies are developed and employed for the construction of compounds that are used to investigate biological procedures. Solid-phase synthesis has emerged as the preferred method for the synthesis of lipidated peptides, which can be chemoselectively ligated to proteins of the Ras superfamily. The generated peptides and proteins have solved biological questions in the field of the Ras-superfamily GTPases that are not amendable to chemical or biological techniques alone.  相似文献

We provide operator-norm convergence estimates for solutions to a time-dependent equation of fractional elasticity in one spatial dimension, with rapidly oscillating coefficients that represent the material properties of a viscoelastic composite medium. Assuming periodicity in the coefficients, we prove operator-norm convergence estimates for an operator fibre decomposition obtained by applying to the original fractional elasticity problem the Fourier–Laplace transform in time and Gelfand transform in space. We obtain estimates on each fibre that are uniform in the quasimomentum of the decomposition and in the period of oscillations of the coefficients as well as quadratic with respect to the spectral variable. On the basis of these uniform estimates we derive operator-norm-type convergence estimates for the original fractional elasticity problem, for a class of sufficiently smooth densities of applied forces.  相似文献

Nascent form of random copolymers of propylene with ethylene, 1-butene, 1-hexene, 1-octene, and 4-methyl-1-pentene was studied by Raman spectroscopy. The most significant spectral alterations with a change in propylene content were observed in two lines at 809 and 841 cm−1. The first line corresponds to vibrations of polypropylene helical chains in the crystalline phase, while the second one is associated with vibrations of polypropylene helical chains having isomeric defects. Raman data confirm that conformational composition and phase state of copolymer macromolecules strongly depend on the comonomer content as well as on the size of the comonomer units.  相似文献

We compute the Omicron(alpha(2)(s)) QCD corrections to the fully differential cross section pp --> WX --> lnuX, retaining all effects from spin correlations. The knowledge of these corrections makes it possible to calculate with high precision the boson production rate and acceptance at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC), subject to realistic cuts on the lepton and missing energy distributions. For certain choices of cuts we find large corrections when going from next-to-leading order (NLO) to next-to-next-to-leading order in perturbation theory. These corrections are significantly larger than those obtained by parton-shower event generators merged with NLO calculations. Our result may be used to assess and significantly reduce the QCD uncertainties in the many studies of boson production planned at the LHC.  相似文献
