Three ferrocene complexes vectorized with estrogens and vitamin D(2) were synthesized and fully characterized by spectroscopic, electrochemical and computational methods. The synthesis of these esters was accomplished by reacting ferrocenoyl chloride with the corresponding ROH groups (R = ergocalciferol, estradiol, estrone). The cytotoxicity of these complexes in HT-29 colon cancer and MCF-7 breast cancer cell lines was investigated in vitro. Only ferrocenoyl 17β-hydroxy-estra-1,3,5(10)-trien-3-olate showed good cytotoxic activity in both cell lines, exceeding those of ferrocenium and ferrocene. In MCF-7, ferrocenoyl 17β-hydroxy-estra-1,3,5(10)-trien-3-olate exhibited remarkable IC(50), in the low micromolar range. This may be attributed to the presence of the estradiol vector. Docking studies between alpha-estrogen receptor ligand binding site and ferrocenoyl 17β-hydroxy-estra-1,3,5(10)-trien-3-olate revealed some key hydrophobic interactions that might explain the cytotoxic activity of this ester.  相似文献

Nonlinear stability of nonlinear periodic solutions of the regularized Benjamin-Ono equation and the Benjamin-Bona-Mahony equation with respect to perturbations of the same wavelength is analytically studied. These perturbations are shown to be stable. We also develop a global well-posedness theory for the regularized Benjamin-Ono equation in the periodic and in the line setting. In particular, we show that the Cauchy problem (in both periodic and nonperiodic case) cannot be solved by an iteration scheme based on the Duhamel formula for negative Sobolev indices.  相似文献

The promising properties of anatase TiO(2) nanocrystals exposing specific surfaces have been investigated in depth both theoretically and experimentally. However, a clear assessment of the role of the crystal faces in photocatalytic processes is still under debate. In order to clarify this issue, we have comprehensively explored the properties of the photogenerated defects and in particular their dependence on the exposed crystal faces in shape-controlled anatase. Nanocrystals were synthesized by solvothermal reaction of titanium butoxide in the presence of oleic acid and oleylamine as morphology-directing agents, and their photocatalytic performances were evaluated in the phenol mineralization in aqueous media, using O(2) as the oxidizing agent. The charge-trapping centers, Ti(3+), O(-), and O(2)(-), formed by UV irradiation of the catalyst were detected by electron spin resonance, and their abundance and reactivity were related to the exposed crystal faces and to the photoefficiency of the nanocrystals. In vacuum conditions, the concentration of trapped holes (O(-) centers) increases with increasing {001} surface area and photoactivity, while the amount of Ti(3+) centers increases with the specific surface area of {101} facets, and the highest value occurs for the sample with the worst photooxidative efficacy. These results suggest that {001} surfaces can be considered essentially as oxidation sites with a key role in the photoxidation, while {101} surfaces provide reductive sites which do not directly assist the oxidative processes. Photoexcitation experiments in O(2) atmosphere led to the formation of Ti(4+)-O(2)(-) oxidant species mainly located on {101} faces, confirming the indirect contribution of these surfaces to the photooxidative processes. Although this work focuses on the properties of TiO(2), we expect that the presented quantitative investigation may provide a new methodological tool for a more effective evaluation of the role of metal oxide crystal faces in photocatalytic processes.  相似文献

Thin films of colloidal silica were deposited on cotton fibers via layer-by-layer (LbL) assembly in an effort to reduce the flammability of cotton fabric. Negatively charged silica nanoparticles of two different sizes (8 and 27 nm) were paired with either positively charged silica (12 nm) or cationic polyethylenimine (PEI). PEI/silica films were thicker due to better (more uniform) deposition of silica particles that contributed to more than 90% of the film weight. Each coating was evaluated at 10 and 20 bilayers (BL). All coated fabrics retained their weave structure after being exposed to a vertical flame test, while uncoated cotton was completely destroyed. Micro combustion calorimetry confirmed that coated fabrics exhibited a reduced peak heat release rate, by as much as 20% relative to the uncoated control. The 10 BL PEI-8 nm silica recipe was the most effective because the coating is relatively thick and uniform relative to the other systems. Soaking cotton in basic water (pH 10) prior to deposition resulted in better assembly adhesion and flame-retardant behavior. These results demonstrate that LbL assembly is a useful technique for imparting flame retardant properties through conformal coating of complex substrates like cotton fabric.  相似文献

New enantiopure imines (1-9) with a chiral substrate to control the stereochemistry of a newly created stereogenic center have been synthesized by reaction of the commercially available (1R)-(-)-myrtenal and different primary amines. The diastereomerically enriched lithium-scorpionate compounds [Li(κ(3)-mobpza)(THF)] (10) (mobpza = N-p-methylphenyl-(1R and 1S)-1-[(1R)-6,6-dimethylbicyclo[3.1.1]-2-hepten-2-yl]-2,2-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)ethylamide), [Li(κ(3)-mobpza)(THF)] (11) (mobpza = N-p-methoxyphenyl-(1R and 1S)-1-[(1R)-6,6-dimethylbicyclo[3.1.1]-2-hepten-2-yl]-2,2-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)ethylamide), [Li(κ(3)-fbpza)(THF)] (12) (fbpza = N-p-fluorophenyl-(1R and 1S)-1-[(1R)-6,6-dimethylbicyclo[3.1.1]-2-hepten-2-yl]-2,2-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)ethylamide), and [Li(κ(3)-clbpza)(THF)] (13) (clbpza = N-p-chlorophenyl-(1R and 1S)-1-[(1R)-6,6-dimethylbicyclo[3.1.1]-2-hepten-2-yl]-2,2-bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)ethylamide) were obtained by a diastereoselective 1,2-addition of an organolithium reagent to imines in good yield and with good diastereomeric excess (ca. 80%). The complexes [LiCl(κ(2)-R,R-fbpzaH)(THF)] (14) and [LiCl(κ(2)-R,R-clbpzaH)(THF)] (15) were obtained in enantiomerically pure form by the treatment of THF solutions of 12 or 13 with NH(4)Cl. The enantiomerically pure amines (R,R-mbpzaH) (16), (R,R-mobpzaH) (17), (R,R-fbpzaH) (18), and (R,R-clbpzaH) (19) were obtained by hydrolysis of the lithium-scorpionate compounds 10-13 with H(2)O. The lithium compound 12 was reacted with [TiCl(4)(THF)(2)] or [ZrCl(4)] to give the enantiopure complexes [MCl(3)(κ(3)-R,R-fbpza)] [M = Ti (20), Zr (21)]. The amine compound 18 reacted with [MX(4)] (M = Ti, X = O(i)Pr, OEt; M = Zr; X = NMe(2)) to give the complexes [MX(3)(κ(3)-R,R-fbpza)] (22-24). The reaction of Me(3)SiCl with [Zr(NMe(2))(3)(κ(3)-R,R-fbpza)] (24) in different molar ratios led to the halide-amide-containing complexes [ZrCl(NMe(2))(2)(κ(3)-R,R-fbpza)] (25) and [ZrCl(2)(NMe(2))(κ(3)-R,R-fbpza)] (26) and the halide complex 21. The isolation of only one of the three possible diastereoisomers of complexes 25 and 26 revealed that chiral induction from the ligand to the zirconium center took place. The structures of these compounds were elucidated by (1)H and (13)C{(1)H} NMR spectroscopy, and the X-ray crystal structures of 5, 12, 14, 15, and 24 were also established.  相似文献

The ligand class 2,2'-pyridylpyrrolide is surveyed, both for its structural features and its electronic structure, when attached to monovalent K, Cu, Ag, Au, and Rh. The influence of pyrrolide ring substituents is studied, as well as the question of push/pull interaction between the pyridyl and pyrrolide halves. The π donor ability of the pyrrolide is found to be less than that of an analogous phenyl. However, in contrast to the phenyl analog, the HOMO is pyrrolide π in character for pyridylpyrrolide complexes of copper and rhodium, while it is conventionally metal localized for planar, d(8) rhodium pyridylphenyl. Monovalent three-coordinate copper complexes show great deviations from Y-shaped toward T-shaped structures, including cases where the pyridyl ligand bonds only weakly.  相似文献

In this work, we study condensation phase transitions of two-dimensional Stockmayer fluids under additional external fields using Monte-Carlo (MC) simulations in the grand-canonical ensemble. We employ two recently developed methods to determine phase transitions in fluids, namely Wang-Landau (WL) MC simulations and successive-umbrella (SU) sampling. Considering first systems in zero field (and dipolar coupling strengths μ(2)∕εσ(3) ≤ 6), we demonstrate that the two techniques yield essentially consistent results but display pronounced differences in terms of efficiency. Indeed, comparing the computation times for these systems on a qualitative level, the SU sampling turns out to be significantly faster. In the presence of homogeneous external fields, however, the SU method becomes plagued by pronounced sampling difficulties, yielding the calculation of coexistence lines essentially impossible. Employing the WL scheme, on the other hand, we find phase coexistence even for strongly field-aligned systems. The corresponding critical temperatures are significantly shifted relative to the zero-field case.  相似文献

The oxygenation of n-butyl and n-butoxy chains bonded to silica with methyl(trifluoromethyl)dioxirane (1) revealed the ability of the silica matrix to release electron density toward the reacting C(2)-H σ-bond through the Si-C(1) and Si-O(1) σ-bonds connecting the alkyl chain to the surface (silicon β-effect). The silica surface impedes neither the alkyl chain adopting the conformation required for the silicon β-effect nor dioxirane 1 approaching the reactive C(2) methylene group. Reaction regioselectivity is insensitive to changes in the solvation of the reacting system, the location of organic ligands on the silica surface, and the H-bonding character of the silica surface. Reaction rates are faster for those organic ligands either within the silica pores or bonded to hydrophilic silica surfaces, which evidence the enhanced molecular dynamics of confined dioxirane 1 and the impact of surface phenomena on the reaction kinetics. The oxygenation of n-butyl and n-butoxy chains carrying trimethylsilyl, trimethoxysilyl, and tert-butyl groups with dioxirane 1 under homogeneous conditions confirms the electronic effects of the silyl substituents and the consequences of steric hindrance on the reaction rate and regioselectivity. Orthosilicic acid esters react preferentially at the methylene group adjacent to the oxygen atom in clear contrast with the reactivity of the carboxylic or sulfonic acid alkyl esters, which efficiently protect this position toward oxidation with 1.  相似文献

The main challenge for the ??hit-to-lead?? stage in the drug discovery process relies on the accuracy of existing docking methods. In fact, accuracy of docking methods depends not only on the scoring function used to rank the poses but also on the ability of the docking method to reproduce the experimental binding mode. At this purpose, the performance of different approximations to properly dock and score compounds with known activity in a narrow range of IC50 values was analyzed. A set of five ATP-competitive CDK6 inhibitors and three receptor conformations for CDK6 were considered for analysis, and three methodologies were used and analyzed in order to include different degrees of receptor flexibility. Thus, a completely rigid receptor is considered when using Glide, while the so-called Induced Fit Docking Protocol accounts for receptor sidechain rearrangements. Finally, force field calculations were also performed in order to consider a completely flexible receptor.  相似文献
