Helicenes are carbon-rich materials with an ordered structure that possess interesting and remarkable electronic, chiroptical, mechanical and magnetic properties either in bulk or as single molecule devices. We report on the first attempt to anchor and organize [11]anthrahelicene ([11]AH) molecules onto a metal oxide surface. Molecular structures obtained on the (110) and (011) faces of rutile titania are characterized using scanning probe microscopy. On the (110) surface, [11]AH molecules form islands that are comprised of small domains of two types that are mirror reflections of each other and have an ordered quasi-hexagonal lattice. In contrast, molecules form unordered clusters on the (011) surface. Single molecules on both faces are imaged with sub-molecular resolution. 相似文献

A practical synthesis of new chiral aminophosphine ligands based on the camphane scaffold bearing alkoxy groups was accomplished. The application of these ligands in the Pd-catalyzed allylic alkylation of (E)-1,3-diphenyl-2-propenyl acetate proceeded with excellent conversions and ee’s of up to 91%. Truemper configurations (thetas, pyramids, prisms, and wheels) have played an important role in the study of complex hereditary graph classes (eg, the class of perfect graphs and the class of even-hole-free graphs), appearing both as excluded configurations, and as configurations around which graphs can be decomposed. In this paper, we study the structure of graphs that contain (as induced subgraphs) no Truemper configurations other than (possibly) universal wheels and twin wheels. We also study several subclasses of this class. We use our structural results to analyze the complexity of the recognition, maximum weight clique, maximum weight stable set, and optimal vertex coloring problems for these classes. Thermal electrocyclization reactions of benzooctatetraenes and benzodecapentaenes substituted with R=H, Cl, and methyl were studied experimentally and computationally. Methyl and unsubstituted benzooctatetraenes and benzodecapentaenes give the [4.2.0]bicyclooctadiene products by 8π,6π-electrocyclization. We present a new approach to calculate analytic approximations of blow‐up solutions and their critical blow‐up times. Our approach applies the Adomian decomposition–Padé method to quickly and easily compute the critical blow‐up times, which comprises the Adomian decomposition method combined with the Padé approximants technique. We validate our new approach with a variety of numerical examples, including nonlinear ODEs, systems of nonlinear ODEs, and nonlinear PDEs.
