Summary The determination of both high and low fluorine concentrations in concentrated phosphoric acid is complicated by the reaction of hydrofluoric acid with phosphoric acid to form monofluorophosphoric acid (MFP), the formation being favoured at high concentrations of phosphoric acid. Neutralization to pH 6–8, a condition suitable for the determination of fluoride with the fluoride electrode, gives low recoveries, since only free hydrogen fluoride is converted into fluoride ion, while MFP is not. The rates of formation and dissociation of MFP were studied and thermodynamic and kinetic parameters were determined. MFP formed in concentrated phosphoric acid can be hydrolysed completely by treatment of the sample with dilute hydrochloric acid and boiling briefly under reflux. EDTA is added to mask any potentially interfering metal ions. The results obtained for concentrated phosphoric acid, after dilution and prehydrolysis, were satisfactory for all the fluorine levels examined.
Bestimmung geringer Fluorgehalte in konzentrierter Phosphorsäure mit Hilfe der Fluorid-Elektrode
Zusammenfassung Die Bestimmung hoher und niedriger Fluorkonzentrationen in konz. Phosphorsäure wird durch die Reaktion der Flußsäure mit der Phosphorsäure zu Monofluorphosphorsäure (MPF) behindert, die in konz. Phosphorsäure begünstigt wird. Neutralisierung zu pH 6–8, die für die Bestimmung von Fluorid mit der Fluoridelektrode förderlich ist, gibt zu niedrige Resultate, da nur freier Fluorwasserstoff zu Fluoridion dissoziiert, nicht aber MFP. Die Anteile der Bildung und Dissoziation von MFP wurden untersucht, die thermischen und kinetischen Parameter bestimmt. In konz. Phosphorsäure gebildete MFP kann durch Behandlung der Probe mit verdünnter Salzsäure und kurzes Kochen unter Rückfluß vollständig hydrolysiert werden. Um störende Metallionen zu maskieren wird EDTA zugesetzt. Die nach Verdünnen und Hydrolyse der konz. Phosphorsäure erhaltenen Ergebnisse waren für alle untersuchten Größenordnungen von Fluor befriedigend.

Some bipolyesters consisting of 1,2-propene glycol residue (P) and symmetric aromatic diacid residue constituted by two p-oxybenzoyl groups coupled by a terephthaloyl (HTH), phthaloyl (HOH) and isophthaloyl (HIH) group, and a nonsymmetric diacid residue constituted by a p-oxybenzoyl and a terephthaloyl group (HT), have been investigated by direct pyrolysis–mass spectrometry. The results show that intramolecular exchange reactions occurring at the pyrolysis stage cause a reorganization of the copolymer sequences. Sequential bipolyesters I–IV are ideal materials for the investigation of the extent of thermal reorganization induced in the bipolymer sequences by the pyrolytic process.  相似文献

The alkyl N-(diphenylmethylene)-α,β-dehydroamino acids 1 have been submitted to 1,3-dipolar cycloadditions with nitrile oxides. The reactivity of these compounds depends on the type and on the stereochemistry of the β-substituents. With the unsubstituted terms 1a,b the reaction occurs on the C,C double bond, providing a good method for the synthesis of the 4,5-dihydroisoxazole derivatives 3a,b,c and for the gem-functionalized 4,5-dihydroisoxazoles amino carboxylic ester 5. The β-substituted compounds 1c,d,e , inert to 1,1-dimethylethylnitrile oxide, undergo the reaction to the N,C double bond, thus giving with 2a,b the 4,5-dihydro-1,2,4-oxadiazole derivatives 4. All the reactions occur with high site- and regioselectivity.  相似文献

The conformational geometries and possible interconversion paths for some oxa derivatives of bicyclo[5.1.0] octane have been studied by the molecular mechanics method. The theoretical results are compared with the experimental data for the molecular geometry of bicyclo[5.1.0] octane and 3,5,8-trioxabicyclo[5.1.0] octane, the free energy of activation for cycloheptene epoxide and 3,5-dioxabicyclo[5.1.0] octane, the dipole moments and molar Kerr constants in solution for cycloheptene epoxide, 3,5-dioxa- and 3,5,8-trioxabicyclo[5.1.0] octane.  相似文献

Phosphonic acid ester derivatives of glycerol, D -mannitol, D -sorbitol, pentaerythritol, and dipentaerythritol have been synthesized by transacetalation reactions with diethyl 2,2-diethoxyethylphosphonate. These phosphonated derivatives of polyols and carbohydrates have been esterified to from the corresponding methacrylates. All these compounds have been characterized on the basis of their elemental analysis and spectroscopic (infrared including FT–IR, 1H-, 13C-, 31P-NMR, and mass) methods. Transacetalation reactions with dialkyl 2,2-dialkoxyethylphosphonate lead to the synthesis of 1,3-dioxane derivatives in the case of D -mannitol, pentaerythritol, and dipentaerythritol, whereas a mixture of both 1,3-dioxane and 1,3-dioxolane derivatives is obtained with D -sorbitol and glycerol. The methacrylates of phosphonylated polyol derivatives show the capacity to dissolve and interact with metal salts such as bismuth bromide and uranyl nitrate. Some of the polymers obtained from these monomers have been characterized on the basis of their spectral and thermal (differential scanning calorimetry) properties.  相似文献

A new apparatus for the extraction of organic compounds from sea water is described. With this apparatus it is possible to extract 54 standard compounds with high recovery percentages from 9 1 of sea water with 3 ml ofn-hexane. The analysis time (about 1 h) is appreciably lower than those of the extraction methods based on RP-18 and Carbopack-B adsorption (about 15 h). Furthermore, it is possible to analyze samples without filtration. An application of this method to the analysis of Tirreno sea water is reported.  相似文献

Ultraviolet-A (UVA) radiation causes significant oxidative stress because it leads to the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), leading to extensive cellular damage and eventual cell death either by apoptosis or necrosis. We evaluated the protective effects of cyanidin-3-O-beta-glucopyranoside (C-3-G) against UVA-induced apoptosis and DNA fragmentation in a human keratinocyte cell line (HaCaT). Treatment of HaCaT cells with C-3-G before UVA irradiation inhibited the formation of apoptotic cells (61%) and DNA fragmentation (54%). We also investigated antioxidant properties of C-3-G in HaCaT cells against ROS formation at apoptotic doses of UVA; C-3-G inhibited hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) release (an indicator of cellular ROS formation) after UVA irradiation. Further confirmation of the potential of C-3-G to counteract UVA-induced ROS formation comes from our demonstration of its ability to enhance the resistance of HaCaT cells to the apoptotic effects of both H2O2 and the superoxide anion (O2*-), two ROS involved in UVA-oxidative stress. Furthermore, in terms of Trolox Equivalent Antioxidant Activity, C-3-G treatment led to a greater increase in antioxidant activity in the membrane-enriched fraction than in the cytosol (55% vs 19%). The protective effects against UVA-induced ROS formation can be attributed to the higher membrane levels of C-3-G incorporation. These encouraging in vitro results support further research into C-3-G (and other anthocyanins) as novel agents for skin photoprotection.  相似文献

[structure: see text]. The synthesis and nonlinear optical characterization of two novel heteroaromatic-based chromophores is described. The new dyes present an A-pi-D-pi-A general framework, where A is a pi-deficient heteroaromatic ring (pyridine, quinoline, benzothiazole) and D a pi-excessive pyrrolyl moiety. Both systems exhibit large two-photon absorption (TPA) values in the femtoseconds regime (TPA cross section as high as 150 x 10(-50) cm(4) s photon(-1) molecule(-1) with 150 fs laser pulses). Their TPA-based optical limiting activity is also shown.  相似文献

The hydrolysis reactions of several title esters in water at 60 degrees C follow the rate law k(obs) = (k(a) + k(b)[OH(-)])/(1 + a(H)/K(a)), where K(a) is the ionization constant of the hydroxy group of the ester and k(b) is the second-order rate constant for the S(N)2(S) attack of hydroxide ion on the ionized ester. Hammett and Br?nsted correlations are consistent with a previous proposal that the mechanism related to k(a) is dissociative. An unusual relationship between k(a) values and redox equilibrium constants for substituted quinones is found to hold: this finding further supports the dissociative nature of the pathway related to k(a).  相似文献

The first examples of diborane (4) compounds derived from amine cyanoboranes are described. A series of monobromo derivatives of amine cyanoboranes (A:BHBrCN), and dibromo derivatives (A:BBr2CN), 1-7, were prepared. Lithiation of the monobromo derivative of trimethylamine cyanoborane, using n-BuLi, did not produce the C-lithiated intermediate Li+ [CH2NMe2BHBrCN], but instead the B-lithiated intermediate Li+ [Me3NBHCN], was obtained. This intermediate, when allowed to react for 16 h, coupled with the un-lithiated trimethylamine monobromocyanoborane (Me3NBHBrCN) and resulted in diborane (4) derivative formation as the 2LiBr complex. The same result was obtained when one equiv of the trimethylamine monobromocyanoborane was added to the reaction mixture 1 h after lithiation. Following the same procedure, novel diborane (4) derivatives of amine cyanoboranes were successfully obtained, 8-11, as their 2LiBr complexes from the monobromo derivatives of the corresponding amine cyanoboranes. Molecular structures of the trimethylamine dibromocyanoborane, 6, and the triethylamine dibromocyanoborane, 7, were determined using X-ray crystallography.  相似文献
