We have measured the 3He(e,e' pp)n reaction at an incident energy of 4.7 GeV over a wide kinematic range. We identified spectator correlated pp and pn nucleon pairs by using kinematic cuts and measured their relative and total momentum distributions. This is the first measurement of the ratio of pp to pn pairs as a function of pair total momentum p(tot). For pair relative momenta between 0.3 and 0.5 GeV/c, the ratio is very small at low p(tot) and rises to approximately 0.5 at large p(tot). This shows the dominance of tensor over central correlations at this relative momentum.  相似文献

We report the first measurement of the transverse momentum dependence of double-spin asymmetries in semi-inclusive production of pions in deep-inelastic scattering off the longitudinally polarized proton. Data have been obtained using a polarized electron beam of 5.7 GeV with the CLAS detector at the Jefferson Lab (JLab). Modulations of single spin asymmetries over the azimuthal angle between lepton scattering and hadron production planes ? have been measured over a wide kinematic range in Bjorken x and virtual photon squared four-momentum Q2. A significant nonzero sin2? single spin asymmetry was observed for the first time indicating strong spin-orbit correlations for transversely polarized quarks in the longitudinally polarized proton.  相似文献

High precision measurements of the differential cross sections for π0 photoproduction at forward angles for two nuclei, 12C and 208Pb, have been performed for incident photon energies of 4.9-5.5 GeV to extract the π0→γγ decay width. The experiment was done at Jefferson Lab using the Hall B photon tagger and a high-resolution multichannel calorimeter. The π0→γγ decay width was extracted by fitting the measured cross sections using recently updated theoretical models for the process. The resulting value for the decay width is Γ(π0→γγ)=7.82±0.14(stat)±0.17(syst) eV. With the 2.8% total uncertainty, this result is a factor of 2.5 more precise than the current Particle Data Group average of this fundamental quantity, and it is consistent with current theoretical predictions.  相似文献

The Laue-Bragg diffraction from monolithic crystal systems was realized. It was shown that a multiple increase in the number ofreflections leads to a supercollimation ofthe beam. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) measurements, ab initio quantum chemical calculations at the restricted Hartree–Fock (RHF) level and density functional theory (DFT) calculations have been performed to study molecular interactions in pure diisopropylsulfoxide (DiPSO) and the binary mixtures DiPSO/CCl4 and DiPSO/water. The optimized molecular geometry, vibrational wavenumbers, dipole moments and several thermodynamic parameters of free DiPSO and DiPSO/water 1:1 complex in the ground state were calculated using the RHF and B3LYP methods with the 6-31G(d) basis set. A fitting procedure has been performed for both SO and CH stretching regions and a detailed spectral interpretation has been done based on the data obtained from ab initio calculations, infrared spectra and band deconvolution analysis.  相似文献

The growth kinetics of LiNbO3 films from a limited volume of melt solution is observed. We developed crystallization models describing the character of mass transfer in the liquid phase for isothermal and non-isothermal epitaxy. Analytical expressions have been derived connecting the film thickness with the system growth parameters. The experimental values being in good agreement with the calculated ones.  相似文献

Volumetric and thermal properties of aqueous solutions of dipropylsulfoxide (DPSO) have been studied. Densities of binary mixtures of DPSO with water were measured over the full range of compositions at temperatures from 298.15 K to 338.15 K by means of a vibrating-tube densimeter. We also investigated the thermal properties of the [DPSO + water] system using differential scanning calorimetry at a low heating/cooling rate (2 K⋅min−1). The results obtained are compared with those of dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) and diethylsulfoxide (DESO) aqueous solutions.  相似文献
