Adsorption of the copper ions from aqueous solutions, benzene, and water on the active carbon obtained by chemical activation
from walnut shells was studied. The active carbon was additionally oxidized with hydrogen peroxide and then impregnated with
nitrogen-containing compounds. As a result of impregnation with melamine, a secondary porosity is formed within the oxidized
active carbon, leading to an increase in the specific surface of the sorbent. A modified carbon surface is heterogeneous,
and the carbons themselves exhibit catalytic activity in the oxidation of luminol and decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. 相似文献

This paper deals with the minimum disparity estimation in linear regression models. The estimators are defined as statistical quantities which minimize the blended weight Hellinger distance between a weighted kernel density estimator of errors and a smoothed model density of errors. The systems galena/2-mercaptobenzothiazole (MBT) and pyrite/MBT have been studied using synchrotron radiation excited photoelectron spectroscopy (SRXPS). The chemisorption of MBT and the multilayer formation of 2,2′-dithiobis(benzothiazole) (BBTD) are evidenced by additional structures, observed beside the substrate signals, in the S2p-spectra of cleaved mineral surfaces after adsorption of MBT. The amount of the complex remains constant at concentrations as high as 10–5 mol/L whereas the amount of BBTD increases. From the dependence of the adsorbate intensities on the excitation energy the conclusion can be drawn that an overlayer of BBTD on a chemisorbed layer of MBT is formed. The very weak adsorption of MBT on pyrite in alkaline solutions may explain the selective flotation of galena from pyrite in alkaline media. 相似文献

We present the calculations of electronic structure and photoemission spectra for a lattice-matched Ag-Au(111) superlattice. The selfconsistent band structure exhibits a superlattice gap at about 1 eV below the Fermi level. A surface state is found in this gap and its dispersion properties are investigated. Its energy location is varied with location of surface terminating plane within the superlattice period. The calculated normal photoemission spectra explain well available experimental data. 相似文献

In this paper we face the problem of stowing a containership, referred to as the Master Bay Plan Problem (MBPP); this problem
is difficult to solve due to its combinatorial nature and the constraints related to both the ship and the containers. We
present a decomposition approach that allows us to assign a priori the bays of a containership to the set of containers to
be loaded according to their final destination, such that different portions of the ship are independently considered for
the stowage. Then, we find the optimal solution of each subset of bays by using a 0/1 Linear Programming model. Finally, we
check the global ship stability of the overall stowage plan and look for its feasibility by using an exchange algorithm which
is based on local search techniques. The validation of the proposed approach is performed with some real life test cases.

We discuss role of partially gravitating scalar fields, scalar fields whose energy–momentum tensors vanish for a subset of dimensions, in dynamical compactification of a given set of dimensions. We show that the resulting spacetime exhibits a factorizable geometry consisting of usual four-dimensional spacetime with full Poincaré invariance times a manifold of extra dimensions whose size and shape are determined by the scalar field dynamics. Depending on the strength of its coupling to the curvature scalar, the vacuum expectation value (VEV) of the scalar field may or may not vanish. When its VEV is zero the higher-dimensional spacetime is completely flat and there is no compactification effect at all. On the other hand, when its VEV is nonzero the extra dimensions get spontaneously compactified. The compactification process is such that a bulk cosmological constant is utilized for curving the extra dimensions. 相似文献

An amperometric immunosensor for hemoglobin-A1c (HbA1c) determination has been developed utilizing membrane-immobilized haptoglobin as affinity matrix fixed in front of a Pt-working electrode. The HbA1c assay was carried out in a two-step procedure including the selective hemoglobin enrichment on the sensor surface and the specific HbA1c detection by a glucose oxidase (GOx) labeled anti-HbA1c antibody. Hydrogen peroxide generated by the enzyme label was oxidized at +600 mV versus Ag/AgCl. A standard curve for HbA1c was obtained with a linear range between 0 and 25% HbA1c of total hemoglobin which correspond to 7.8–39 nM. ELISA studies confirmed the advantage of a sandwich-type format with haptoglobin as capture molecule for selective hemoglobin binding over the direct adsorption method. Results by the sandwich immunoassay showed a linear correlation within the clinically relevant range 5–20% (CV < 3). For sensor application the immobilization procedure of haptoglobin onto CDI-activated cellulose membranes was optimized. 相似文献

Low viscosity, high density trihalide-based 1-n-butyl-3-methylimidazolium ionic liquids have been prepared and characterised. Key physical properties (density, conductivity, melting point, refractive index, surface tension and diffusion coefficient) of the ionic liquids have been determined and are compared with those of other 1,3-dialkylimidazolium molten salts.
