Organized monolayer films of a manganese tetraphenylporphyrin have been prepared and used as supported oxidation catalysts. Manganese 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(tetrafluorophenyl-4'-octadecyloxyphosphonic acid) porphyrin (1) has been immobilized as a monolayer film by a combination of Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) and self-assembled monolayer techniques that use zirconium phosphonate linkages to bind the molecule to the surface. Analysis by FTIR, XPS, UV-vis and polarized optical spectroscopy show that the films consist of noninteracting molecules effectively anchored and oriented nearly parallel to the surface. The monolayer films are stable to the solvent and temperature conditions needed to explore organic oxidations. The activity of films of 1 toward the epoxidation of cyclooctene using iodosylbenzene as the oxidant was compared to that of Manganese 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(pentafluorophenyl) porphyrin (2) and 1 under equivalent homogeneous conditions. The immobilized porphyrin 1 shows an enhanced activity relative to either homogeneous reaction. The main difference between 1 and 2 is the four alkyl phosphonate arms in 1 designed to incorporate the porphyrin within the films. The increased activity of immobilized 1 is a combination of the porphyrin structure, which prohibits the formation of mu-oxo dimers even in solution, and a change in conformation when anchored to the surface. The study demonstrates that careful monolayer studies can provide useful models for the design and study of supported molecular catalyst systems. 相似文献

The intramolecular reaction of allylsilanes and allylstannanes with alkynes proceeds catalytically in the presence of Pt(II), Pd(II), Ru(II), and Au(III) chlorides. Although more limited, AgOTf also catalyzes the cyclization. Usually, PtCl2 as the catalyst in methanol or acetone gives the best results. The reaction proceeds by exo attack of the allyl nucleophile on the alkyne to form five- or six-membered ring carbocycles. The reaction generally proceeds with anti stereoselectivity. However, a terminally substituted trimethylsilyl derivative reacts by a syn-type addition. The intermediate alkenylpalladium complex has been trapped with allyl chloride to form an allylated derivative with an additional carbon-carbon bond. 相似文献

We report the synthesis of some new polysulfur-nitrogen heterocycles by cycloaddition reactions to readily available tricyclic condensed 1,2-dithiole-3-thiones. Thus, treatment of bis[1,2]dithiolopyrrole ketothione 1 with diacyl acetylenes gave the bis-aducts 2a-d. On the other hand, cycloaddition of bis[1,2]dithiolo[1,4]thiazine ketothione 3 with 1 equiv of acyl or diacyl acetylenes gave [1,3]dithiolylidenyl[1,2]dithiolo[1,4]thiazines 4a-f in fair to high yields. Catalysis by scandium triflate was used in the reactions that implied the less reactive dipolarophiles. Treatment of 3 with 2 equiv of DBA gave the bis-aduct 5a, and reaction of 4c with DMAD gave the mixed bis-adduct 5b. Cyclic voltammetry of selected examples showed irreversible processes that were influenced by the electrochemical activity of peripheral groups bonded to the heterocyclic system. 相似文献

An efficient method was developed for the determination of nanogram levels of lithium in biological samples. Serum samples from human subjects from southeastern Spain, treated or not treated with lithium carbonate, were analyzed by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry. The samples were previously treated with a matrix modifier consisting of 0.1% Triton X-100 and injected through a graphite tube with L'vov platform. The Li concentrations measured by the procedure described for the 3 certified reference samples used were not significantly different (p > 0.05) than certified levels. Sample recoveries and variability during several days, with coefficients of variation from 4.00 to 14.8%, demonstrated the reliability and accuracy of this technique. Mean Li concentration determined in the serum of individuals with psychiatric disorders treated with Li (n = 117, 5.077 +/- 1.795 microg Li/mL) was significantly higher (p < 0.001) than that in individuals not treated with Li (n = 24, 1.902 +/- 2.054 ng Li/mL). 相似文献

A modification of the high-performance liquid chromatographic method with fluorimetric detection method for the determination of diarrhetic shellfish poisoning toxins was developed to completely avoid the use of dangerous chlorinated solvents. The method was validated for the toxin okadaic acid (OA) over a period of 6 months where 12 calibrations were performed and 72 samples were analyzed. Analysis of toxic and non-toxic mussels, clams and scallops demonstrated its selectivity. Linearity was observed in the tested range of interest for monitoring purposes of edible shellfish, from the limit of detection (0.3 microg OA/g hepatopancreas) to 13 microg OA/g hepatopancreas. Intra-assay precision of the method was 7% RSD at the quantification limit (0.97 microg OA/g hepatopancreas at S/N=10). Accuracy was tested in triplicate recovery experiments from OA-spiked shellfish where recovery ranged from 92 to 106% in the concentration range of 0.8 to 3.6 microg OA/g hepatopancreas. Useful information on critical factors affecting calibration and reproducibility is also reported. Good correlation (R=0.87) was observed between the results of the method and those of the method of Lee, after the analysis of 45 samples of mussels from the galician rias. 相似文献

We report the syntheses and structural aspects of cyclodextrin host–guest inclusion compounds containing linear secondary alkylamines (dipropyl, dibutyl, dipentyl, dihexyl, and dioctyl) at 25 °C. Elemental analysis, 13C CP-MAS NMR spectroscopy, and powder X-ray diffraction analysis confirm the inclusion process. The basic host structure of the products is similar to that of typical cyclodextrin inclusion systems. 13C MAS NMR experiments show a different resonance pattern for the confined guest molecules with respect to the amine in the liquid phase. The presence of different resonance signals for the homologous carbon atoms of both dialkylamine branches is evidence for the non-symmetric location of the amine in the cyclodextrin channels. 相似文献

Summary A simple apparatus that permits to carry out photolytic reactions in direct connection with a gas chromatograph has been designed. The photodecomposition of C5–C7 aliphatic alkanes, C1–C5 primary, secondary and tertiary aliphatic alcohols and of some other substances was studied using this apparatus. The reduction of titanocene dithiocyanate in various solvents has been examined using the techniques of polarography, voltammetry, controlled potential electrolysis and cyclic voltammetry. In THF and CH2Cl2, Cp2Ti(NCS)2 undergoes successive one-electron transfer reactions, and by using a combination of electrochemical and EPR techniques it has been possible to confirm the stability of [Cp2Ti(NCS)2]? in these solvents.
